I was diagnosed with ulcerative proctitis and thyroiditis in August 2017. I was under the care of a…read moregastroenterologist and an endocrinologist, both of whom are experts in their field but each only concerned with the symptoms related to their disciplines. I knew I needed to find a medical professional to help me understand and manage my conditions (both of which were causing me some serious problems) and to address the root cause of the disorders, as I believed them to be related.
