I usually love ordering matcha, but for some reason their ceremonial matcha drinks can't be customized with ice level or toppings-- not even to add boba. I didn't ask why and ended up ordering a honeydew slush with boba instead, while my husband got the taro Oreo slush with no toppings. It did take a bit of time between waiting to order and waiting for the drinks to be made, but the quality made up for it. The drinks tasted great and clearly weren't rushed. There are a few chairs where you can sit while waiting, which is nice, but the waiting area could use a little tidying up. There were quite a few supply boxes trailing into that space, almost like there isn't enough storage in the back. I asked the staff if they had Oreo smoothie only just because my youngest son does not like bubble tea beside Oreo smoothie. She told me that the taro Oreo is more like an Oreo drink the taro is very light. So I gave it a tried. All my kids love the drinks. However, the employee forgot to add boba to both my drink and the customer after me. I had already walked out and taken a few sips before realizing it was missing, so I had to go back in to get it added. She was apologetic and I appreciate that she promptly fixed it. The boba itself ended up a little underwhelming. I might just be used to the soft, honey boba from Bober Tea, but this one tasted firmer than I prefer. I personally like my boba softer.
