Went here today to get some boba. As we were drinking our drinks, our daughter found a SHARP piece of plastic or acrylic in her drink. We went back to return the drinks and get a refund for our drinks. The manager was apologetic and I asked if he knew where it could possibly have come from. He said that he did not know and was going to investigate. I also told him that he should stop serving drinks until they found out where the source was coming from. He kinda gave me a look like I was crazy. We will not be going back there anymore and I guess my next call would be to the health department. read more

Great tasting drinks! The one star is for the the location of the blenders. You literally cannot hear anything over them. Plus the design of this store creates echo so the blenders sound extra loud. Consider moving your blenders to your back area. read more

Apart from the Richardson location, this is the second Ding Tea we have been to as we happened to be in the McKinney area last week (5/16/21). There were two people in front of us and two other behind us. As I was craving for both Milk Tea and chocolate, I got curious about the "Chocolate Milk Tea" that was on the menu. When it was our turn to order, my husband had no problem making up his mind (Apple Milk Tea 50% sweet), as for me, I was in an adventurous mood and wanted to try something different but not too different. Knowing there was a line behind us, I tried to make it quick. It was amazing that the cashier lady was not only patient, she was proactively creative in helping me figure out what I would like. As I described what I had in mine, she honestly explained to me that the "Chocolate MT" would cover the tea flavor that I would be wanting; instead, she creatively came up with the idea of replacing half of the creamer to the chocolate power into their "Signature MT" drink. Since their Signature MT at 25% sweetness with boba is what I usually get at the Richardson location, her recommendation was prefect! We got our drinks really quickly and I absolutely LOVED what she made for me!!! My husband loved his drink too! Think about it - she was not only a patient cashier, she was a drink-designer who took what I described and made a reality out of it! Ding Tea McKinney made my day! Whenever we are in the area again, we will definitely continue to pick this boba place!!! read more

The flavor and boba choices are excellent. Yet the milk tea is almost just milk; would like more herbal tea added for more flavor. They also put too much ice. Even when I ask for the least amount (30%), 1/3 cup is full of ice. Normally the ice is almost to the top, so you're probably paying for just half the cup. Feeling jipped in those aspects. I visit this place at least once a week with my sister. They served good boba tea. Yesterday, I went in and ordered five drinks and requested for 50% sweetness and no ice in all my drinks. When I received my drinks, everything is right except for my guava greentea came out hot and sealed in plastic cup. I asked the server and he said because I wanted no ice in my drink. I was speechless then because the rest of the drinks have no ice and still cold. I ended up throwing that drink away because you can't serve 'hot' drink in that kind of plastic cups. Owner, please give proper training to all new employees and be consistent with your standard. After all been said, they do serve good boba drinks and my favorite is their taro mashed with green tea, classic milk tea and Thai latte. read more

Absolutely amazing! Boba tea stops were a regular thing for me when I lived in Dallas. The ones in Plano just didn't meet the expectation for the drive. This little tea shop has beautiful decor and very courteous staff. Our order was ready in no time and did not disappoint! The boba was perfect and the milk tea was the perfect amount of sweet. I almost gave up looking for a good boba place around my house. We always drove far to get some quality stuff. And then we saw this place! It opened recently and we have been back 3 times in a week. One complaint is that they do take a while to make the drinks. I'm gonna give them a little bit of time since they're still pretty new.
