I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this smoothie king location was incredibly frustrating. The customer service completely ruined it for me. Mr. Ron was rude and unprofessional, and when I reached out with a simple mistake about my order instead of helping me, Mr. Ron became argumentative and dismissive. Rather than taking accountability for the mistake, he insisted that it was correct and spoke to me in a condescending tone. I wasn't rude, I just wanted what I paid for and tried to explain it was incorrect. But the way Mr. Ron handled it was completely unprofessional. I felt more like I was in an argument than a customer being helped. It's not just about the mistake, it's how you handle it, and Mr. Ron clearly doesn't value the customers enough to do that respectfully. I was met with attitude and sarcasm when I pointed out a mistake in my order. Rather than trying to resolve the problem, he acted like I was inconveniencing him. It felt more like a face to face debate than a customer service interaction. I've never dealt with a business/manager so unwilling to accept responsibility or listen to feedback. I asked for a refund and luckily the store owner Mr. Stacy Johnson was there to assist. He informed me that there was a mistake and asked me if I wanted my bowl. I've never really been to a bad Smoothie King yet. I think the one in Tucker by Lavista Road is the slowest location I've been to, but the product is always good. This location and the one on Holcomb Bridge Road have both done a good job so far. My fiancé and I have only been to these two locations one time each but no issues so far. I like that they have so many health conscious options. Recently, we got a Caribbean Way and Strawberry Slim 'n Trim - both 20 ounce smoothies. The Strawberry Slim 'n Trim is Stevia sweetened and tastes great but without all the added sugar. It's also nice to have the drive-thru option that not all smoothie places have. I grew up with Jamba Juice as a chain, but so far I think Smoothie King is superior. I would definitely come back to this location and try more drinks. read more

This morning I headed to Smoothie King before work to get a smoothie for breakfast. I've always been excited and satisfied with the yummy smoothies I've had in the past. I pulled up and was greeted by an automated message, and I read the menu until I could hear someone on the intercom. A woman on the other end asked what I would like, I told her and she did not respond. I attempted to confirm and she yelled "I heard you!" Then she asked would I like a buy one, get one mix in my smoothie. That is when things went further downhill. I asked where I can find the options and she irritatedly mocked me. I asked her again, apologizing, and she yelled at me demanding I come up to the window. She sounded like she was going to pop off on me through the window so with tears in my eyes I sped past the window and off to work. read more

This has pretty much been my go-to Smoothie King stop the past few months when I needed that Meal Replacement after a workout. This Smoothie King sits off the Indian Trail exit on 85, in a very tiny shopping plaza by an Oil Lube Shop. I've noticed that a lot of Smoothie Kings tend to set-up shop beside Oil Change locations. We all know the services that Smoothie King provides, The main and only reason I hit this one up is b/c of the drive-thru service. I typically don't feel like going inside after a work-out, and this location is on my way home from Lifetime Fitness. The convenience of the drive-thru at this location is why I give them 4 stars. I never have a long wait here, and there's typically no other cars in line. It is a tight squeeze on the drive thru, so if you drive a Hummer you might need to rethink this spot. I always get the Hulk, and recommend the Strawberry over the Vanilla & Chocolate (got the Chocolate on this last visit, and it tasted chalky - made me more thirsty). Great spot if you are on the go. read more

I've been doing more smoothie meal replacement lately. I enjoy how this place has so options - which may seem overwhelming at first. Usually I have been getting under HIIT menu - Veggie Mango is my current favorite one. Decided to try the Mango Ginger and definitely has a nice kick to it. Aside from the menu, service is a hit or miss. Some who work there seems bothered if you try to customize or have questions. I love smoothies. I have to say I'm hooked on Smoothie King. I've tried all the other smoothie and juice bars and Smoothie King is the best value. Their small is like a large at most juice bars and the price is lower. This is a brand new location on Indian Trail that has a drive-thru as well as walk-ins. I think this is definitely a great place to grab something refreshing. The smoothie menu is equally varied with high protein smoothies as well as blended fruit concoctions. So far my favs have been the Strawberry X-Treme, Angel Food, and Acai Adventure. Overall, service is friendly and fairly swift. Horrible. I've been 5 times this week (in a row) and each time they have been completely rude and lazy. The first two times I used the drive through and I asked for an acia bowl and each time they said the base is completely frozen. Then I went around 8:30 pm the next day and they were already closed even though they are supposed to be closed at 9. When I walked up both employees had their heads down. Then I walk in the next day and again they can't make me a bowl because it's "completely frozen". At this point I know they're lying because it's been multiple days already. It was like that up until today where they said they can't take my order because "their systems down" if their system is down I don't understand why their sitting there getting paid for NOT doing their job. At this point this is completely unacceptable and un professional id recommend NOT to go here. Also there no management in sight, don't bother using the phone because it's an un connected line. My boyfriend and I stopped by this Smoothie King yesterday afternoon after a long day of hunting for a new home. We just wanted to stop by and pick up a nice, refreshing blast of energy after spending time in the hot sun viewing homes in the area. We immediately felt like unwelcome customers the moment we walked in the door. The two employees did not even glance in our direction and apparently a simple "hello" was out of the question. We took a few minutes to observe the menu before the young woman walked over to the register with a scowl and said "what do you want". Hmmm, well alrighty then. My boyfriend orders first and she looks at me when it's my turn to order....with a look that felt like she wanted to strangle me. Our orders were very basic and quick, so I have no idea why her attitude was so foul. Seriously, I wish I would have taken a picture of her expressions and consistent "lip pout" just so you can get the idea. It was a bit comical and definitely unnecessary, so my boyfriend and I just sat and giggled in disbelief to each other. I didn't dare ask for her name, but it was on the receipt. I have never experienced anything similar to this type of customer service. I seriously doubt I will ever set foot in this location again for my smoothies to beat the Georgia heat....but at least that Island Impact was yummy! read more

I'm writing this review with such disappointment. We called this location 45 minuted before it closed, to make sure they will be opened by the time we got there. We get there, and try to open the door and its locked. Mind you its 25 minutes!! Before close time. I noticed there was a child sleeping inside of the establishment. They finally opened the door and we were informed that the "blenders stopped working" .....really? All SIX of the blenders....at ONCE huh??? Mind you I had 2 children under thevage of 5 with me. Not only did we not get served smoothies, they literally acted like we weren't in the store like we didnt exist! Like they waited for us to just give up and leave! I asked the managers name but was told he was on vacation? I DIDNT ASK if he was on vacation, i wanted a name and number! I cannot believe we were treated this way. We are regulars to add on. I literally wasted gas, time, and we were all hungry. If this doesnt change, i will be contacting the regional manager. No one deserves to be treated this way! read more
