When I visited another time I saw there were a few of those items on display and I decided to try one for myself. It was called Taro Mochi Dried Meat Floss Cake. It sounds like it wouldn't work, but to my surprise I quite enjoyed it. Semi-sweet cream filling and chewy fresh mochi sandwiched between light and fluffy sponge cake then rolled in a dried meat floss and what looked to be nori. The smell was a little pungent, but I always try something once. I never know what I may like until I've tried it and this is definitely a "Don't Yuck My Yum" situation. (Shoutout @doobydobap) I hope this local spot gets all the love because the husband and wife business owners are doing great things here!!
