With Chinese New Year 2026 celebrating the Year of the Horse, it felt like the perfect moment to treat myself to something refreshing and energizing. I ordered the classic Black Pearl Tea with pudding this time, and it really hit the spot. The boba had that perfect "QQ" chew, soft, springy, and satisfying, and the tea itself was nicely caffeinated without being bitter. A great drink to kick off the new year with a little extra pep. I didn't order any food on this visit, but the mini pot pies on the menu definitely caught my eye. I'm planning to try them next time. Overall, Presotea continues to be a reliable stop for quality bubble tea with great texture and flavor. A fun place to welcome the Year of the Horse and enjoy a tasty drink. The smell was a little pungent, but I always try something once. I never know what I may like until I've tried it and this is definitely a "Don't Yuck My Yum" situation. I would recommend getting reduced sugar as it seems like this place runs pretty sweet. I got the 25% sugar on the fruit tea and could not imagine what 100% tastes like. They put a lot of fruit in it which is quite nice and the flavor of the tea is quite strong which I love but I wish it were even less sweet.
