This place has one of the best milk teas through out Utah. We literally make the drive all the way from Herriman (25 min drive) to just get boba here. Kind of is a bummer too because as soon as we get home, we've finished our boba lol. I always order their Jasmine Milk Tea here with black boba. The jasmine milk tea has the right amount of tea and to offset it, has the right amount of milk. To complement it as well, the boba is definitely soft and tender. Their boba is consistent and doesn't have a hard middle to it, leaving you wanting for more. Their boba does have the brown sugar/caramel flavor to it as well. My wife on the other hand always orders their taro milk tea. It is pretty good! Has a great milky taste to it too. I would definitely recommend this boba spot to anyone. Not your typical Ding Tea that is beautifully decorated inside....This particular location seemed old and outdated. It definitely did not live up to Ding Tea's reputation for having modern and elegant decor. I filtered out all the ugly Christmas decorations (yes Christmas) so what you see in the pics are the Valentine (yes Valentine even though it was 28Feb2022) hand-made decor along with some boba plushies. The ambiance was not nice, the service was not nice, and the drinks were so-so. I tried a new flavor: Peach Milk Tea with grass jelly. Do NOT try it. It tasted like sour spoiled milk that has been sweetened. Not a good experience! I like to try new flavors, and was hoping this would be a good choice. It wasn't. I miss boba and I am glad we found this place. They were really nice and welcomes us. When ordering you can pick your sweetness and ice level. which I love that they offer that because sometimes the drinks are too sweet. They have different toppings you can choose from also! The drinks were yummy! I had the ginger Logan tea (hot), and got blueberry green tea with golden boba. The location was not hard to find, and ambience was nice. My friends and I went there to hang out and study. (They did not have WiFi). The star was knowledgeable, so I was able to get all my questions answered. The only negative was that they seemed kind of annoyed every time you talked to them... like they were all having a grumpy day... plus they only filled my finger longan tea up 3/4. I would understand if it was cold with no ice, but it's a hot drink... oh well. Maybe because it IS hot that they didn't fill it all the way. This is my favorite bubble tea shop in Utah. I lived close by and anxiously watched as they prepared to open... My go-to drink is the jasmine green tea with taro mash and golden boba. It's not for everyone, but I love the generous portion of taro mash. I despise artificial taro powder so I'm glad they do not skimp on the real thing. I also prefer their golden boba, I find it a little chewier than the regular. The inside is super cute with lots of plushes and decor, but I've always grabbed my drinks to go. I'm also really happy with their service. The staff is always friendly and patient if you need a few minutes before you order. I used to really love their drinks! I always order a brown sugar milk tea with extra brown sugar because I have a sweet tooth and love my drink super sweet. They started charging more for extra sugar which is fine but whenever I ask them to make it super sweet or to make sure theres a lot of brown sugar it tastes like a regular brown sugar milk tea & it still has the same lightness to it like a regular brown sugar milk tea would. One time I've asked them if they could add more sugar into the drink but they said they couldn't because the drink was already cold which is a shame since they already charge me extra for more sugar): I'd still comeback just wish they would make their brown sugar drink like how they'd used to. read more

Coming from Socal and having lived in Taiwan, I have pretty high standards for boba. I've had pretty decent experience with other Ding Teas, but a little disappointed that the black boba I got was pretty tough, but at least they give a good serving. For reference, I orgered a large oolong milk tea half sweet with light ice and black boba. The tea was alright, but I couldn't taste it much within the creamer. The drinks do run sweet and 50% was still a bit sweet. I do hope my drink was a one-off, as this is a nice location. One big thing was that they don't have free wifi. Yay!!! Boba tea place close by where I live! Woohoo!! I'm so excited for this place. My favorite tea place closed recently and I've been super bummed that I can't get my tea fix whenever I want. I've been to the other Ding Tea and they were pretty good so I had high hopes for this place. So far I've been here a handful of times and I don't have too many bad things to say. The only thing is their teas are super sweet. Like sugar sweet. I got the 50% sugar and it tasted like full sugar and then some. But hey, this might be a pretty subjective thing so I'm not really knocking them too much for it. I've just learned to ask for 30% sugar. Also, I really wish they have a stamp card of sort. Super grateful to have a great and legit boba option on the southern end of Salt Lake County. This place has great service and consistently great boba. I also love the personalization that you can do with their drinks. For example, I prefer my boba with no ice and most boba places in Utah do not like it when you request that option. I was their most annoying customer of the day I'm sure. They were super honest with me about the sugar content. They let me know they use creamer. I am not a fan of creamer as it is not good for you. But they offer other options. I wish they offered half-and-half I would imagine it would taste a lot like Thai tea, I do love Thai tea. The customer service was excellent. I need to try more flavors, they had many more. When you come in don't be afraid to ask questions and get exactly what you want. It's nice to have a listening ear behind the counter. They aim to please and that's hard to find. Though I like the Boba I don't care for tea much.
