Was so thrilled to see this new tea shop open up in town. Right away you get the sense that they care a lot about the product, they are professional, and prompt in service. I ordered the Jasmine milk tea with the golden boba and sea cream foam. It was legit. Pearls were soft and sweet, the tea had a nice blend of death and lightness, and the seafoam cream added a wonderful salty quality to the drink. Ding Tea is definitely on par with some of the better Boba shops in town; I will be back! read more

Quick, friendly service and decent tea. I got the chocolate milk tea with no ice (there's an upcharge for no ice) and it was pretty good, just a little too much chocolate powder. I took it to go, but the place looked clean and cozy. read more

I like the way they decorated the place. It's very modern and stylish decorative shelves and plants everywhere. The menu is on two gigantic TVs and I can tell it was well put together. I ordered a blueberry something tea with lemon and boba. It's pretty good. I particularly like how the boba has no problem moving through the straw. At some other places sometimes the boba gets caught up in the straw so you have to suck suck with all your might to get it out. I found out about this place because someone from Noodleholics recommended it. Will come back again for sure! read more

Pretty good boba! We've been here twice and have been satisfied with the drinks overall. You can adjust sweetness and ice level, but the drinks that we've tried have tended to be on the sweeter side even with adjustments. I've had the signature milk tea and the taro milk tea. I prefer the taro and found the signature milk tea to be pretty standard. My husband has had the taro slush which he has enjoyed but also found pretty average. Service is super quick, staff is nice, and lots of photo ops in the designed space as other reviews have mentioned. read more

My name is Andrew and I'm a bobaholic. Of the three or four other bubble tea shops (if you know, you know) in Tucson, I must say Ding's fruit tea is the best flavored. I don't know how to describe the tea other than it tastes more herbal. It's potent and packs a good punch. My favorites include the kumquat-lemon iced tead and wintermelon green tea. There are a number of non-dairy milk substitutes and vegan options such as my favorites. Ding's offers about 15 toppings but I will say that my boba was overcooked. It was not the soft yet chewy texture that I'm accustomed to at other shops in town. That being said, I'll give Ding's the benefit of the doubt because of their fruit tea alone. I'm curious to try the crystal boba. Any recommendations? Much like the parking lot situation, the indoor space is small and crammed. It's too bad because the space is inviting and has games to play. Ding's is more of a grab and go or mobile order bubble tea shop rather than a hangout spot. Elite tip - sign up for their rewards program. Not to be dramatic, but I think this was the best boba I've ever had. I got the jasmine tea oat milk latte with boba and aloe and no extra sweetener. It was amazing. Not overly sweet, nice and creamy, and fun textures. But besides being good boba, this place was already a win for me with the service. The guy there really took his time to help me figure out what would be the right order for me and was extremely thoughtful. Everyone was super nice. The vibe was great and we had such a good time drinking our drinks and playing uno outside! read more

With the ever-growing number of boba shops now popping up in Tucson, Ding Tea usually provides solid boba teas, slushes and fruit teas. I tried the Monster latte and Hokkaido black milk tea. Both drinks both had a few boba balls that were a little hard and maybe out for too long, but nonetheless the teas themselves tasted great. The interior decor is really pretty and clean, and there are a few board games and card games to enjoy during your visit. read more

I am excited to see another boba place open up. First issue to overcome is the small parking lot. Otherwise, when you enter, decor is cute, as other reviewers have said. The first time I went was a within the first month of two of their opening. At that visit, there wasn't a huge crowd, and the staff was very attentive. I ended up getting the winter melon milk tea. If you are sensitive to sugar in your drinks, I definitely recommend you ask about which ones you cannot adjust the sweetness for. Going in, I knew that you could not adjust the sweetness for this one, however I was really craving winter melon. I wasn't used to how sweet it was, but the taste was great. They were asking all their customers for their feedback, and if the drinks are good. I guess I had a bit of a shocked face on my first sip due to the sweetness, and they offered to make me a new drink. However, I was content with the flavor after letting the ice melt a bit. For my drink, it would be four stars, and I told myself I'd come back soon to try one of the other drinks where you can adjust the sugar level. I didn't have a chance to return until recently. This time, I got their signature milk tea at 30% sweet and ice, with lychee jelly. I was actually surprised with how sweet it was. I'm sure part of it was the syrup from the lychee jelly, but I also assumed they wouldnt include TOO much of the syrup. At this point I can't tell if their drinks just run sweet vs my choice of topping. Next time I will probably try the grass jelly to see if I can avoid this issue. We came for a convention held in the parking lot and stopped in for some tea. The tea was great and affordable especially since I was super low on money at the time. They're always so sweet there too and have a beautiful set up inside the store. The staff were patient with me regardless of the huge line too love this place. read more

so good! I love the options they have and they do them all so well. I've been in love with fresh fruit flavors lately so my go-to has been the passionfruit or lychee green tea with lychee jellies and it's perfect every time. While visiting Tucson, i was looking for a boba spot and this came in my interest. I got the Hokkaido Black Milk Tea with Aloe and Egg pudding. At first i thought there wasn't much sides put in, but you just gotta stir it up thoroughly. I like the fact that i can actually taste the tea within the milk tea. Some places seem to have more milk than tea in there milk tea. The Aloe are actual aloe vera chunks. Will be back to try others when i'm back in town again! The place is super cute. I cant rave enough about Ding Tea Tuscon! Every drink I've tried has been SPECTACULAR, they never miss a beat when it comes to the drinks. Of course we can't stop there, the STAFF!!! Every single person that works in this establishment is extremely friendly and helpful, you really feel completely welcome as soon as you step in. I ordered a Lychee Oolong Tea with boba online and it was a perfect balance between tea and lychee. I've been searching for a fruit tea boba shop here in Tucson and this is definitely my favorite place to go! They allowed me to customize my order based on the amount sweetness and the amount of ice that I liked, which I loved. I got 70% sweetness which was a little too sweet for my liking so I'll probably go lower next time. Their prices are really great for what you get as well. They were super busy when I arrived for my online order, but the cashier was very apologetic about it. Expect to wait a little for your order if you decide to go. The atmosphere was nice and chic and they played K-Pop songs on a tv. Definitely will be back for more! read more

Ding Tea is the best in Tucson. I lived in the SF Bay Area for 22 years, which is essentially the 2nd home of Boba Tea, outside of Asia. Ding Tea's oolong milk tea with light ice and light sugar, with classic boba, just can't be best; at least not in Tucson. I have them 4 instead of 5 stars because they need to be more consistent about their amount of ice and sugar in the drinks. If I order light ice and it comes out heavy ice that is definitely lame and the crew needs to pay more attention and care to every single order. read more

Tucson is fortunate to have a Ding Tea shop. Many Boba places have boba toppings that harden the moment they are mixed with the cold drink. This is not the case for Ding Tea. Their Boba retains its softness. My favorite drinks are the Kumquat-Lemon Iced Tea with Aloe Vera topping and Hokkaido Black Milk Tea with Boba and Coffee Jelly. The sweetness of these drinks is balanced between Asian and American tastes -- sweet enough but not diabetic. I highly recommend this place and would regularly stop by here. read more

Bottom line: I LOVE IT! You won't be disappointed! Fairly new establishment and I'm like a crack fiend when it comes to boba, but this might be my new go-to spot. Several people ahead of us, but our orders got through pretty quick! Also, the young lady taking our orders was so sweet. I ordered the Hokkaido oolong milk tea (couldn't adjust sweetness since it's a mix), signature milk tea and a peach tea all with golden boba (taste the same as regular, difference is the colour. Ultimate Asian compliment: The Hokkaido milk tea, it's not that sweet. I thoroughly enjoyed it! I typically order 25% sweetness so I'm happy with it! I'm not very into boba tea, but this shop has such an amazingly varied menu and I love trying new things, so we stopped by this weekend. I got a pineapple green tea, with slight sugar and ice (25% each), and blueberry popping boba. It was great! The ability to customize sweetness is a huge plus, because excessive sweetness is what I normally don't like about boba. The cashier was friendly and helpful. Drinks came out pretty fast. This place has limited seating but the aesthetic is very cute. They even have a pink velvet loveseat in front of the menu for those who are overwhelmed by the options. :) read more

MY FRIEND HEARD ONE OF THE TWO MALE WORKERS COMMENTED ABOUT MY CLEAVAGE! It was Sunday night, my other 2 friends arrived first and later they told me that at the moment I walked in, a guy voice threw a comment about my cleavage to the other guy. I like Dingtea and stopped by many times before, but this is horrible of how unprofessional and disrespectful that worker was! I've never in similar situation so it really ruined my night and my good past experiences of Dingtea. As a worker to customers and as a man to a lady, I hope you understand that being respectful is a really core minimum no matter what you do! UPDATED: Andrew reached out to me through IG and we discussed about the incident. I requested to meet and see the footage as well as talking to the related workers. Again, my point wasn't to ruin anyone's job or reputation so I did hope it really was a misunderstanding. However Andrew said the camera didn't quite catch everything and he investigated the staffs separately, that one worker thought i was someone he knew and the other said "Oh I see", not "Oh that's so much cleavage". My friends heard what they heard and I am sorry that's not enough to convince us it's "just a misunderstanding". Honestly I just wanted an apology from that worker with the hope no girl will have to experience this again in the future! read more

I wasn't super in the mood for Boba but we stopped here on a whim and wow was I ever glad we did. We ordered the grapefruit yogurt and kumquat lemon iced tea. Omg!!! I just finished a semester of school and I wanted something sweet for my cravings. I decided to go with the monster boba with oat milk. I do NOT regret this order. Since we are unfailingly friendly customers, as so many servers are, & because there were only 6 other customers at your coffee shop at the time, sharing our experience is warranted. We visited the Main Gate shop just after noon on Saturday, 4/18. The barista was wearing a cap & O'Neill-branded t-shirt; he has a salt & pepper beard. Requesting my cappuccino in a ceramic cup, he stated, with obvious exasperation, "You can just say 'for here'." He was also visibly irritated when we requested 3 Dirty Chais of various sizes & shot strength, as if this request was overly complicated. We would have ordered food, but he was so unwelcoming we did not. Nor did we linger. We have visited this location other times and have only been treated warmly. Clearly this barista does not represent the customer service your employees normally provide. You can train people to make a good coffee. Training them to be pleasant is more complicated & best documented. Hence, this review. An unpleasant experience like this has no place in Tucson. It's not who we are & it's not who you are either, I know. We hope this gentleman finds another line of work soon
