The outside of the place....it's near a thrift store

My first time trying Burmese cuisine....I was hungry and it was close to my destination, why not? I order what looked familiar....Lo Mein with Veggies. I waited less than 10 minutes and took it to my car to eat. Oh my....tasty, hot, and fresh!!! I loved it and will return. Note: I got a level 3 spice and it was turnt up....but it was so good it didn't matter.

After checking out Rebel Muse, we ate here. We've never had Burmese food, so why not try it. It's in a worn down shopping center. Looks like it used to be a happening place. It's nice and quiet inside the restaurant. Not many tables. My husband got the flat noodles. Not the Cantonese flat noodles, the description says gravy..there was no gravy. Whatever he had was good though. I told my husband want I wanted and went to the restroom to wash my hands. He ordered something completely different than what I told him. Lol. The braised pork belly stew was delicious. I don't think I would order it again though, but I definitely would come back here to eat.

Great food! We tried the sweet rice appetizer and the dumplings. Also tried a beef soup and fried rice. Delicious!!! Fresh and tasty. Burmese milk tea was good too. We will be back!

Really good food! A very incognito restaurant I would say, I only discovered it by luck one day as I was in that area. Became a regular!

At the low end of Burmese that I have been to. Very limited menu with many menu items not available. Curry's are lacking.

The food is amazing. We had Drunken Noodles with Shrimp and Seafood Pad Thai. (Keep forgetting we aren't right by ocean) Since it was 100 and hell outside we both ordered slushies: Passionfruit and Pina Colada. They were awesome. The food is fresh and spicy was outta sight! Both of us agreed it was LA worthy and will be back. Interestingly, the menu has more than Thai food, it includes Chinese dishes as well as Vietnamese. Totally recommend, Bruh.

The waiter forgot our order of fried rice, even saw him repeat it back to us and wrote it down. The fried tofu, shrimp spring rolls, and Thai tea were good. The service was attentive, and polite. The roof leaks, they have had to clear out several tables in the middle of the restaurant to address the leaks into buckets. Although I asked for medium spice, all of the food was mild. The red chicken curry was ok, but reminded me of Indian dishes more than Thai. The decorum of the place was run down a bit, appears there was little renovation from when they were "Yummy" Thai. However, I am pleased they changed the name because it was far from yummy. People in Flower Mound have a very warped sense of what excellent Thai food actually tastes like, and Yummy Thai was not it, sadly Maha Thai isn't either. This location has the exact same problem that Chillicious Thai has in Flower Mound. Once owners changed, chefs changed, and everything now has an Indian (from India) flavoring to nearly every dish, it stopped being Thai. If you've had Indian food and Thai food, you'd know the difference. Just because you're from India and you believe you "know" curry - which you likely do, does not mean you're ready to then cook Thai food. The menu looked nice, but the food did not appear as advertised, especially the Khao Man Gai, aka hainanese chicken. It is very unlikely we will be back.

When picking up our $28 take-out order, I showed the cashier the 10% coupon from the Ad Pages Go Mobile app. The coupon clearly states "Ad Pages Go Mobile App accepted". The cashier said this was not the case and a paper coupon was required. The owner and his wife were sitting at a nearby booth. When I continued to plead my case to the cashier, she asked the owner who also refused to accept the Ad Pages App coupon. Again, I pleaded my case based on what is written on the coupon and the owner was adamant about not accepting it. This is over 10% of a $28 tab ($2.80)! The arrogance, shadiness, and disgusting customer service displayed by the owner leads me to not return.

I dislike eggplant very much & usually pick it out, but I ate it ALL because it wasn't cooked to mush. In fact, all the veggies were perfectly cooked. I got tofu, it was good, but I didn't realize it'd be fried tofu... my tummy typically can't handle fried stuff, so I'll get a different protein next time. They gave me a complimentary salad & egg roll... loved both. Too bad they're a little fat from our house... They are tucked away in the corner... so look for them, because I didn't know they were here.

The staff was also incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout our meal. We ordered some of our usual Thai favorites. While everything was good, I did feel like some of the dishes were missing the bold flavors I'm used to. The soup, in particular, wasn't quite what I expected, it tasted like the broth may have been boxed or just made very different. That said, the shrimp in the coconut was unique and absolutely delicious. A few of the other dishes were just okay. Even though the food wasn't quite as flavorful as we had hoped, the ambiance and excellent service made for an enjoyable dining experience. It may have just been an off day or simply not the style of Thai food we're used to. I'd still recommend giving it a try, especially if you're looking for a restaurant with wonderful hospitality.

I ordered the salad again, plus the green curry (spice level 3) and the veggie spring rolls. Another disappointment, unfortunately. I like spicy food, but this "3" was more like "8". The spring rolls weren't rolled correctly, so one was literally split, with the lettuce falling out of it. After two tries, I won't keep trying it. What a bummer. It's veggie tempura salad! Only one type of veggie was used to tempura with, it's some kind of high-watter content veggie. It's a weird choice to batter and deep fry. The dish was tossed with peanut dressing which made the entire dish tasted like a plate of greasy soggy batter. The presentation of the dish was good, but just didn't taste good. Each ingredient is good by itself, but together is a bad combo. I also ordered curry fried rice, the taste of spices was good, but lack of salt. It also came with a dip that's extremely sweet, I suppose it was for the couple carrot strings on the side? I think I would still return to try different dishes next time, but not a fan of the food ordered during this visit.
