Definitely enjoyed my visit. I went after work and ordered to go when I arrived. My wait was only about 15 mins and they offered to bring it out to my car. Inside was spacious and clean. They have a high top area that seems like it's underway to be something else soon. I ordered the pepper steak with a 2 spice level. It was so good, but it was a bit spicy for me. If you like spicy, this place is the spot for you! The wings and gyoza were average. I liked the sauce the gyoza came with. I think I'd order the wings extra crisp next time.

Authentic thai&lao food and tasty! I ordered papaya salad (lao style) and laab chicken. Spicyness is a bit higher than my level but the taste was great. I loved both of them. My husband also loved panang curry. He'd finished it before i got a photo. Strongly recommended!!

Sweet staff, really good service and the Tom Yum soup and chicken pad Thai were fabulous. Nice, clean restaurant with a good size bar. I found it really easy to get to and will definitely go back.

Booger in my steamed rice that looked half eaten before I even opened the container!

This place must be crawling with insects and their employees must be dirty and unsanitary or something. I ordered some food via delivery tonight and there was a booger in my rice and ants on my black rice pudding container. So f***ing disgusting. This place needs a visit from a health/food inspector ASAP please!!!! Edit/Response to the manager/owner: I still have the rice and I know what scorched rice versus something wet and slimy and completely different texture/look. You really know how to make someone lose their appetite and their dinner. You're lucky I didn't throw up. I am Asian so I know what scorched rice looks like lol. I also said that the ant came from outside the container and btw, the ant was alive not dead and I had to kill it. If you serve boogers on your food, I wouldn't defend it but to each their own!

Stopped in last night to pick up. I didn't even realize this place was in Carrollton and just saw it driving by. Was so happy with the fresh spotlessly clean interior. Very modern and tasteful decor. The owner was extremely nice. We found out that if you eat in it's a BYOB which is always nice. The menu is great. Features, Asian Fusion and leaning a little more to Thai and Vietnamese which are my favorites. We got a variety of things. Fresh Spring Rolls which were very good. Riblets were great but I did feel like the portion was very small for the price. Pork Skewers also very good with a delicious marinade The Star was the massuman Curry. Literally the best we have ever had. Rich and delicious. Full of peanuts. It was so so good. We also got an order of Thai fried rice and it was the perfect combination, of , sweet, spice, salt, and savory. We can't wait to go back and dine in.

    Nam khao level 5 spice

Soooo happy there's finally a Laotian restaurant near me!!! I would make the 50 min drive to haltom city for my Laos fix. My favorite was the nam khao (crispy fried rice) & thum mak huong spice level 3 was just right. Enough kick for us! We had the Lao beef jerky, crispy chicken wings & sticky rice. Everything was pretty good. 4 stars just because of the $1.99 dipping sauces. I think the prices are too steep but nonetheless, they were good. The jeow som isn't your traditional jeow som, it reminds me of egg roll sweet and sour sauce with fish sauce. Can't wait to come back and try to traditional Laos soups!!!!!

I love this place! My friends and I come here all the time, we especially love the pad see ew and pad thai. I love the owners as they are friendly and fun. Always offer us to do fun karaoke. A very good small family business. Feels like a mom's cooking. I definitely recommend! (Sorry for the filters lol)

    Pad Kee Mow with chicken

I came in for a Sunday lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The decor is inviting with the bright green booths and the restaurant was spotless. The service was prompt and my glass stayed filled. Attentive service is always appreciated. I ordered the pad Kee mow with chicken at a level 4 spice. I could have done with much spicier but the flavor was well developed. My bell peppers were sautéed yet still crisp. The noodles were made in house and very wide just how I like them. The chicken breast was juicy and tender and a great vehicle for the sauce. I cleaned my plate which I rarely do and I can't wait to return to alter some of the fried rice dishes.

    Nam Khao

Ordered the Nam Khao spicy level 2... and I mistaken it cause lord! This this is SPICY! But soooo good. My mouth is on fire! So if you don't like spicy, literally tell them no spice!

When picking up our $28 take-out order, I showed the cashier the 10% coupon from the Ad Pages Go Mobile app. The coupon clearly states "Ad Pages Go Mobile App accepted". When I continued to plead my case to the cashier, she asked the owner who also refused to accept the Ad Pages App coupon. Again, I pleaded my case based on what is written on the coupon and the owner was adamant about not accepting it. This is over 10% of a $28 tab ($2.80)! The restaurant has vibrant decor and murals that transport you to a diverse neighborhood. Every employee who helped us was approachable and kind, checking on us after we were seated and served, going as far as taking photos for us when we asked because we were celebrating our anniversary, and bringing out things we asked for once we were seated. It seems basic to say that, but the warmth and kindness was felt from each employee we interacted with, and I don't want to gloss over their good service. Our order: - Angry Pho Birria Platter - Elote + Chips - Strawberry Lemonade - Ube Horchata The pho (a little spicy) and bao (a little sweet with super tender meat) will make you want to do a happy dance. The wings could have been a little crunchier but they were sauced so it's understandable. The Bang Bang and Spicy Chili flavors were delicious. The Birria tacos were good, but we loved everything else on the platter more. The Elote + chips starter was authentic and yummy. The chips felt like an odd pairing, but it tasted good together! The Strawberry Lemonade was sweet but refreshing. The Ube Horchata was creamy and delicious. Not too sweet, and the ice didn't ruin it. Know before you go: - Arrive early! We got there when they opened at 11 AM on a Friday. Two other parties were already there and waiting to dine, as well. By 11:30 AM, a nice-sized crowd had rolled in. They had no problem getting everyone served quickly, though. - You order and pay first, grab a seat, and then they bring your food out to you. - Yes, the platter sizes are sufficient for two hungry adults to fill up on! You might even have trouble finishing it all. - Their online menu has awesome pictures of each platter option. The platters look smaller in person than in those photos, but as I said, you will definitely get full. - My husband, who is not a pho lover, loved the Angry Pho. - They are closed on Saturdays and Mondays. - They have gluten-free and halal options.

I ordered the chicken pad thai (spicy) and the Zaap combo set opting for the Zaap crispy wings with sticky rice. Located off the toll , Zaap is small inside so when it gets busy seems to be a more grab and go spot. I ordered online which was seamless and upon my arrival my food was ready and I was on my way. Everything looked good and was well packaged when I got home, I was genuinely excited to try. I made the perfect plate of pad thai, a couple wings, rice and papaya salad. The wing combo meal was my favorite. The wings were fresh, seasoned so well and I loved the garlic pieces/flakes on the wings, wished they added more honestly. The only critique is I wished the wings were actually crispy, they were kinda soft but I'd still get them again. Misses for me unfortunately was the chicken pad thai and papaya salad. I've never had pad thai before so I didn't really know what to expect but I didn't care for it overall. My biggest issue was the texture of the noodles and it was somewhat bland, the chili oil I got did help some but between the noodle texture, sparse chicken and it being lightly sauced, I wasn't a fan. Papaya salad again is new for me and just wasn't my thing, it was spiced to my specification but nothing about the flavor appealed to me sadly and I really wanted to enjoy it. I will say, portion sizes of everything was great, all my food was piping hot and customer service was good so I would come back for the wings and just try something else out.
