Granted, my 17 year old just does football now, but my 12 year old is right in the mix.. We love to book our Team's Cage and Training time with them! They connect well to the kids. You can prepay for 4-8 group sessions (just get a sponsor to pay for it!).. you come in, they handle it, its magical :) They also give back to the community ... throughout the baseball season, they get perks and roll them down to the kids. We've gone to a couple Padres games on their tickets in previous seasons.. as they get hooked up, they pass it down.. thats awesome! They just remodeled it inside and they did an amazing job! His current team has 1 practice per week at 5 Tool San Marcos. There is a 2nd (original) facility in Carlsbad (off Palomar Airport Rd area). Both sites are great facilities, the newer San Marcos (San Elijo) complex is cleaner and also seems much bigger. They have a dedicated area for pitching as well, with private coaching. The San Elijo facility is very clean with a dedicated staff always willing to assist. I'm guessing there are 15 tunnels in total? You can rent one and your coach or Dad/Mom whoever can throw to you or feed you balls. If flying solo? Staff will step in. They also provide private and semi-private lessons for both hitting and pitching and the coaching is solid! Another cool variable is the nets are all on rollers so you can pull them to side and clear a bigger space to hit ground balls if so desired. My son's competitive team rents out a section that encompasses 3 tunnels that they pull the best to make half-tunnels and then create a station for grounders.

Local Scripps ranch batting cages!…read more Although a small facility, this is a great place. I take my son here typically every other week, if not every week to use the batting cages. The instructors here are truly good. I'm a baseball guy. Have played all my life. And I'm confident in their instructors. They know what they're talking about out, teach the proper techniques and mechanics, and are good with the kids. They're really encouraging and are a great fit for this spot. I also appreciate that they're involved in our little league. Any time a game or practice is rained out, they're available and ready to help.

Really good young man and acted professional throughout our visit. Brady himself gets FIVE stars Now the reason for the three stars. The facility itself is very small as well as the cages. Grown adults taking full swings and continuously hitting the sides of the cages. Our women ballers unfortunately had the same result. Lastly the biggest reason for the review is that if you're going to say you tailor to adult softball Slowpitch then you need to have semi adequate equipment. The balls were atrocious with rips and lopsided. If I knew I had to bring my own balls I would have. Out of two Home Depot buckets of balls maybe half a bucket were decent. If I do come back I am bringing my own suitcase of balls to BP with. Last note. The prices were fairly reasonable but I may pay extra to swing somewhere else in a facility that I don't hit the wall or cage.

The mini golf is different. It is neon glow style and you can play with 3-D glasses but we didn't play with them. There are 9 holes with the last one being a ball collector so make sure you only use this when you are done. We may have played through a few times to get our moneys worth. Most of the games are a dollar or more per play which is hard for me as I am older and remember when games were a lot less but those are the times. We still had fun and will likely be back. We got a few tickets, around 2,000 but as typically we were not able to get much with our tickets. They do have a lot of options but just not much we were interested in.
