A woman approached me from behind the counter with an extremely off putting attitude before I spoke a single word asking what I needed. As I am explaining what I was looking to get done and pulled out my phone to show her a picture reference, the woman snatched the phone out of my hand before I was even done with my sentence and goes to a back room with my personal cell phone. After consulting with someone for about 2 minutes she comes back out to me and says there's nothing we can do. With no explanation as to why they could not engrave the piece I asked the woman for an explanation. Her response was they do not have the capability to do a flower stencil. Then added she did not know what material the piece I wanted engraved was (that was clearly metal).. I asked if they had any alternative options, which I was aware they did as I had been to the local before and had a piece done and added to a box. She asked me where my friend was planning to put the piece, I said anywhere she decides, to which she replied we can't do anything because if she puts the piece outside it would ruin, as if I couldn't just explain to my friend she can't put it outside. Additionally to that she never even asked if I wanted the flower she stated they couldn't do based off the reference picture or if I would be okay with just the script and dates. She also never asked what material the piece was like I couldn't just look that up to verify it was metal from the website I purchased it from. This woman clearly did not was to service me for whatever reason that may have been... from the start and did not hide it. My previous experience there was with a younger gentleman who was great, but based off this experience I will never return! Knowing this I politely told the woman to have a great day anyway and left. I immediately looked up other engraving services and found Engrave Your Gift in New Britain, CT. The gentleman serviced me right away and the piece came out absolutely perfect! With flowers and all.. I would recommend them over Discount Trophy a thousand times over. My friend absolutely loved her gift and was extremely emotional because of the meaning and how beautiful it turned out.

Communication between myself and Olympic is great, I really couldn't ask for anything better. A simple email or short phone call and things are all set. Before they ship anything off, they send me a proof of what it will look like (so there are no mishaps) which is great. I currently deal with over 300 students at a time, and anyone who works with that many people (or college students ages 18-22) understand how there's always one or two who will lose something, got accident skipped in the order, or who will break a nametag. Whenever this happens, I embarrassingly email Olympic and they appear more than happy to make one nametag and send it out. The thing I am most pleased with is how quickly things get shipped out. For example, I send it in an order for nametags on Friday, April 20th and I just received them on Monday, April 23rd. How amazing is that!
