Cocktails were well done and the wine pairings recommended astute. Nothing to complain about except some of the items were cold - there was one person serving the entire bar and restaurant and obviously had some timing issues. Also some attitude: after delivering cocktails to my wife and me he forgot her mom's - after I reminded him he said "oh I know" and then proceeded to serve four other patrons' order at the bar and then another two top's before even starting hers. It finally arrived after the cold mushrooms were delivered. I'm chalking this up to a short staffed situation and a specific individual, so if you live nearby or are traveling through looking for a nice spot for dinner or lunch I would definitely recommend. The environment is also very pleasant with a nice bar and dining room of high top tables.

Cold, crisp and delicious to the last bite. Top it off with excellent service, especially since our party consisted of 8 people. Our server treated us well and efficiently. One minor hitch -- we were seated at a long table with 4 on one side and 4 on the other. When the restaurant filled with customers, we could only hear the person next to or directly across from us. It was noisy. We happened to come on a night when a glass of wine was half price Such a bargain! I only wish I had taken a photo of my delicious entree yet with a party of 8 chatty friends catching up, it was easy to forget.

This was our 3rd visit in as many months and the service was great and most of the food was too. My husband loved his duck, my salad was yummy and the top half of my crab cake was great. Sadly, they burned the bottom and hid it on the bottom so I had to peel it off to eat the rest but once I did it was yummy. My husband also loved his mocktail. It was quiet in there for a Saturday night but I love that. We can actually have a conversation. We'll continue to come back.

It's one of my favorite cuisines, so I was excited to try this place after finding it on Yelp. It was my last night in town on a work trip, and I finally had a little time to unwind on my own before heading home the next day. As soon as I walked in, I could tell from the atmosphere that I had found the right spot. I sat at the bar and was greeted almost immediately by the bartender (Laura M.), who was friendly and attentive throughout. The couple of other patrons nearby were also welcoming. At this point, I'm starting to think that might just be a Knoxville thing. This was my third trip to the city, I think, and I've had a similar experience each time. I ordered the Scotch egg with blueberry compote and the cottage pie with a side of onion gravy. I would have liked a little more sausage on the Scotch egg, but that is about the only critique I can come up with. Everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor, and both are dishes I would absolutely order again. I also tried a couple of local beers: a PB&J sour from XUL Beer Company that somehow really did taste like drinking a PB&J sandwich, and the Dr. Robot Blackberry Lemon Sour from Monday Night Brewing. Both were excellent. Overall, this was a great experience, and I'll definitely be looking for a reason to come back to Knoxville just so I can eat here again.

There was one little hiccup, and that was that my son's salad did not come out before the main entrée was served.., It wasn't a big deal. We had already had a lot of food and we're taking some home anyway so We just asked for it to be packaged to go. The atmosphere was casual. It's nice to sit outside and see the lake and the staff was friendly and efficient.. The food, everything was delicious.

Although they are serving from a food truck, the size of their smokers and quality of the food is comparable to anything I've had in a restaurant. On this occasion I had their 1/4 pound brisket sandwich with potato salad. While they offer a 1/2 pound sandwich, I found the 1/4 pound version to be a very generous portion and quite filling. The brisket itself was juicy and tender and had a perfect peppery bark. The sandwich is served with their house pickles and onions on the side along with a smoky sauce. Together it made for a great texture and mix of flavors. The potato salad was also very good and pairs well with the brisket. The folks running this business were extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Well, today was the first time I've been there when they had smoked. I'm extremely picky about smoked sausages and always prefer Texas-style over anything else around here. Today they had a jalapeño cheese smoked sausage... and it was absolutely delicious. I can't even properly express how good it was. So if you're reading this right now -- stop what you're doing and go get one. You won't regret it. The pulled pork sandwich is consistently delicious and a staple for me--but today, the smoked sausage completely stole the show. Absolute standout.
