He served tri-tip sliders with cilantro and chipotle mayo, cheese enchiladas, chicken satay, ahi poke on a crisp wonton cracker, and a giant taco station with pork, chicken and beef. A few years ago I went to a dinner party catered by David and the food was delicious. I asked one of the servers for a business card because you never know right? Fast forward to two weeks before Thanksgiving 2018 and I'm in a panic. I need to have Thanksgiving dinner for 20 people and I really don't have the time or equipment to make food for SO many people. I emailed David and got a quick response. My message said that I needed help with food but not necessarily staff. He said they were making food for pick up and that this might be what I need and it was! On Wednesday (the day before Thanksgiving) I picked up food for 20. I need to say that their 20 is in reality 40. When I got the food it was all carefully labeled, wrapped and cared for. When I heat up the food on Thursday it all turned out great. DELICIOUS mashed potatoes, moist and flavorful turkey, gravy, yummy cranberry sauce, green bean and amazing pies. We have left overs. We all ate a lot and had seconds maybe even thirds. When she was booked I turned to Yelp to check out various chefs. I sent a message to about 10 people and received various levels of response. David responded to me quickly and his menu was the instant winner. I love great food and have come to expect in most meals not all your courses will be amazing but every course of the meal prepared by David and his staff was excellent. On top of that execution, timing and service was above and beyond. He always made himself available to help with just about everything, party rentals, bar recommendations, advice, and so much more! It was a surprise party, and I didn't even to try one of the appetizers because it was gone before I arrived for my surprise (that's what I get for being late for my own party I guess). I loved the food I had, and Kristi made this amazing birthday cake for me. My wife told her I really like peanut butter and chocolate together (who doesn't, right?), and she came up with this awesome recipe that had just the right combination of the 2 flavors... I get hungry just thinking about it. On top of the food being great, their service is excellent. David is a "we'll make it happen" kind of guy, and they do.
