It was National Hamburger Day, so it only makes sense to have a burger for lunch! I could've taken the easy way by going to In n Out, McD's, Burger King, Carls Jr., etc... but I decided to hit a local, mom-and-pop type of place. There were tons of warnings on Yelp, but I'm not really one to base decisions solely on that. I thought I'd give them a try. VERDICT: For the burgers? Most of them are correct. This place is not the place to go for that. I opted for the drive thru option. After putting in my order, it was a bit confusing where to go. Once I figured it out, I immediately thought, "this isn't safe for pedestrians..." there's a door right next to the pick up window where I saw people going in and coming out of. So just FAIR WARNING: don't just take off once you get your food from the window. Make sure no one is coming out those doors first! Anywho! Went for a pastrami burger (no cheese!) and a side of small chili cheese fries. I was initially impressed because the bag was heavier than I expected. Got back to work in no time and was excited to dig in since hunger pangs were slowly Kickin' in. CHILI CHEESE FRIES: The fries were a bit soggy but the chili and cheese sorta made up for that. But then the more I ate, the more starchy and grainy the fries got, and the less chili and cheese there were. They kinda skimped out on it - they put one thin layer on the surface and that was it. Booo... PASTRAMI BURGER: Speaking of a thin layer, a fellow Yelper pointed out her burger patty was thinner than the slice of tomato. That's EXACTLY the case here. And if that wasn't bad enough, it was unseasoned, too! The pastrami helped a teenee bit but not much more - they were dry. Not recommending. I only ate half - gave the other half to Mommers (she seemed to like it.) FOOD: 2. SERVICE: 1. VALUE: 1. PARKING: Small private lot. Ive celebrated birthdays here, celebratory burgers, and Sunday morning hangover menudo plenty times. You can never go wrong with their burgers. If you like regular burgers, bbq burgers, spicy burgers, they have all the savory and spice you need. The Mexican food is so delicious! Menudo, burritos, tacos. It's all so good. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Their breakfasts are simple, affordable, and taste almost home made. The fries are lightly salted so if you like your sodium, ask for extra. I usually ask to add seasoning salt as well. I would pass on the chicken tenders though. read more

I have been wanting to try this place for a while so I jumped in my car drove 25 minutes to check it out. I ordered a Carne Asada burrito that completed my order. The burrito was nothing to ride home about. It was very bland. The meat inside didn't look like Carne Asada. It has the appearance of being boiled in a meat that was substituted as Carne Asada. There were no grill marks or seasoning of the meat. Everything ranging from breakfast burritos, french toast, flautas for lunch and even spicy camarones a la diabla are a hit every time ! The burgers are flavorful and most recently I've tried their grilled chicken sandwiches- also fully seasoned. The hospitality and promptness is also great. Ordered a ham and bacon breakfast burrito and receive the triple meat, not what I ordered, I'm already home, I'll just eat it and lose the money I paid for to eat something i didnt enjoy or order because the business decided to just give me whatever they wanted instead . I ordered a strawberry milkshake and receive something that resembled one, it seemed to have no ice cream or milk and instead tasted like whip cream and water with a 1/32 of a strawberry mixed into. There was no one inside the restaurant, which made it easier for me to order my food and not that long for me to wait for my food. They brought me the chili cheese fries first, which were very hot, fresh and a nice portion size. I have to say that every bite was delicious, from the first to the last. Ordered two chili cheese fries and when I tried to pay with a 50 dollar bill, the dumb kid at the window asked if I had another bill to pay with cuz that one looked fake... it was an older bill... still has the watermark and the security thread on it... its just older than the new ones...
