I've been to another Made Burger location before (the to-go only one), so this was my first time dining in at this spot with a few coworkers. It was nice finally getting to sit down and enjoy the food fresh. I ordered the mushroom burger with chili cheese fries, and both hit the spot. The burger was juicy and loaded with flavorful mushrooms, and the fries were a great, hearty side. The fries portion was also huge so it was great to share as well. The service was smooth and convenient. You can order either at the register or through a kiosk, which I liked since it shows pictures of the food. The kiosk also helped me discover items I didn't notice on the menu board, like the mushroom burger and chili cheese fries, which ended up being great choices. The dining area is on the smaller side with just a few tables, but when we went it wasn't busy at all, so there was plenty of seating. Oh man! I'm not sure why this places doesn't have a line out of the restaurant by now but I'm not complaining at all. I've only been here a couple of times in the past and each time it was good. Finally got to go back again this week after about a year and a half hiatus. I took my husband who had never been. I got the made burger with raw onions instead of grilled and of course I had to get tater tots. My husband got the made burger with grilled onions and sweet potato fries. When I say that I hate sweet potato fries with a passion... Until I had these sweet potato fries. I don't know what kind of crack they sprinkle on them but damn are they good!! Our entire meal was A-1 no complaints at all and so good. The place was very quiet and only one person was sitting inside while we were there. I hope they get the foot traffic they deserve but honestly I'm also okay with the fact that I'm always able to just walk in and order without having to shovel through a million people. The Good: Kirsten was very helpful, kind and full of smiles. The interior was clean. There is a self ordering kiosk. It's a new establishment so it still has an upbeat vibe to it. The food tasted fresh. The Good/ Bad: Parking is horrible, but it shouldn't be to the point where you would be parking more than a block out. We parked on the street about 6 businesses away to get there. The Bad: The price of the burger feels slightly on the higher end. But then also sides aren't included and it's nearly half the price of a burger there. And then the added on charge for your drink. If you're getting a complete meal, by yourself, I would expect that you would be paying between $18-$25 dollars NOT including tip or any additional add-ons to your meal. Overall, the price value for a burger, fries and a drink in comparison to the amount of food given, I'm going to say that for right now, I don't see this being my go- to place for a burger or for any other item they sell. read more

I came on a Saturday during lunch time and it was pretty empty but there seemed to be a lot of online orders so they warned us about a 15 minute wait. The wait wasn't that bad but we weren't acknowledged or welcomed even before getting our order taken for a while. The inside is pretty small but a lot of tables and two screen with sports shows on. While ordering I was a bit annoyed since I was confused. The burger I wanted said it came with onion but when I asked for no onion I was told it didn't have any which contradicted the menu. Also I don't love being charged for ranch that tasted like hidden valley. The brunch burger was the best thing and maybe the only thing I'd come back for. It was very consistent and filling the burger size was pretty big. It came with egg bacon and tater tots was just a solid 10/10. They also cook the egg to your liking. The BBQ burger was very inconsistent. The meat patty was thinner than the other burger, and was sort of dry because it was overcooked. The burger was lacking bbq sauce. I also had to pay to add pickles to the burger. On the way out, the employees just watched us leave. They did not even give a thank you. Overall, I would only come back for the brunch burger. You have to be lucky to get a "good burger" because they are so inconsistent in quality and the ambiance is not welcoming or friendly at all. read more

Made Burgers is right in our back yard and we tried them the other day for the first time. I was very happy with this burger, I kept it simple because I wanted to see how good a classic burger could be from them, and it was quite impressive. I was especially impressed by the grill of the burger, I don't know what they do but it was especially delicious and the edges had this mouth watering crisp. Usually I'm heavy handed with the sauces--ketchup especially--but this burger was so good on its own you barely needed anymore more at all. So a really great burger to start, and considering the great looking/sounding menu they have of even more impressive burgers and sandwiches, I'm very interested in coming back to trying more! read more

With tax the bill was a little over $17. Everything here is a la carte. The food was ready in about 10 minutes. The burger was quite good tasting with a nice bun and flavorful 1/3 lb. beef patty. Came in to try it for the first time this week. I wanted to explore the menu however I figured I'd try their classic #9 Made Burger. I ordered fries, onion rings and a bottled coke. Service was great. Place wasn't busy a few people and some orders to go. Parking can be tricky but I got lucky right in front. Hawthorne blvd has an opening in the middle of the street so there's usually plenty of parking there. Food was out within 5 minutes and was delicious. If you like made-to-order burgers, you'll love the burgers here. Be sure to wear your patience hat too because it takes a little time to make a great made-to-order burger. Typically only 15-20 minutes, but timing can vary if the little shop gets busy. We dined in and our 20 minute wait seemed more like 10...because the place was empty. Within 20 minutes the place was packed, so our extra To-Go order took 30 minutes. We passed the time talking with other customers, all whom agreed the burgers are legit and super delicious. Before the crowd arrived, we got to meet Gene, the owner. He is a friendly gentleman, and is extremely proud of the little restaurant he's brought to the south bay. He explained Texas BBQ and breakfast will be served soon. Also he's opening another location in Gardena - suh-weet! Now, do yourself a favor and make sure you ask questions and learn about the menu. We ordered directly from the menu board at the front of the place, but as we waited, we overheard what might be additional burger options such as mushrooms, avocado, garlic aioli...none of these are on the menu, so DO ask. I had the BBQ bacon burger, my bestie had the Made burger. In hindsight, I would have loved lettuce and tomato on my burger...I didn't realize the veggies are not standard. The burgers were delicious nonetheless. If you love piping hot fries and tots, let them know. My fries arrived less than warm and when asked I mentioned this and before I could object, a fresh order was in front of me. How's that for amazing service? Parking (on the street) isn't fantastic and I'm guessing it gets tricky finding a space at prime dining hours. A great all around burger. Nothing more, nothing less. The diner itself is like being in a cool little man cave garage. I would change the little metal chairs though, not comfortable. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, but kind of to a fault... My poor friend was in line and starving but had a group of 5 ahead of her. The owner took atleast 10 minutes promoting and explaining the menu to each person! Then it's another 15 minute wait to get your food since it's made to order by only one cook. We saw this place pop up on Yelp a few weeks ago and wanted to try something new. We got to talk to the owners, and they were so nice and did a quick run down on their menu. They mentioned how they have future plans with their restaurant like creating a breakfast menu which I'm excited to try and local events, so the community can come out and try different foods they'll make. We were able to find parking around the corner and order quickly. The dining area is a little small, but it can hold about 20 people, and it's great to grab a bite with some friends. The food was really good and filling! I had the brunch burger and my boyfriend had their made burger with skinny fries. Both were really good and juicy. But I figure if you're going to be paying a higher price for a burger, you may as well get one of their specialties, like their grilled mushroom and onion burger, accompanied by their fantastic onion rings -- OMG, SO GOOD! We saw an Instagram and thought to check the spot out. It is on the busy street of Hawthorne and parking is small. You can park next door at the Weinerschnitzel's at your own risk. We did , but i grabbed a large rootbeer and fries from them before walking next door to Made. The woman working the register gave us a quick rundown. I ordered the Made burger with an extra patty and my son ordered the Collosal burger with pastrami. We also ordered onion rings. My total was a little under 40 dollars. They accept cash here as well. Onion rings were GOOD. I thoroughly enjoyed the ranch sauce that accompanies it. Rings were crunchy and crispy with a thick and fresh slab of onion. I could've had more of those and the ranch. 8 out of 10. My burger was filling but I wasn't as thrilled about it as I was anticipating. They use Wagyu and prime rib I think but I couldn't really tell that. The neat wasn't really seasoned as well. It is their basic burger. 6 1/2 out of 10. The collosal burger is large. It's priced at 16 bucks. My son enjoyed it but wouldn't get it again. I tasted the pastrami and it was overly salty and fatty. I wasn't a fan and I'm glad I didn't get that. I will return to try their sandwiches and hotdogs. I wish this place well. You can eat there but it's small. We took ours to go. They may not have the most amazing burgers to me but they are worth a second trip. read more
