This is not just a pizza place. They have really good Indian food on the menu. I would compare it to a fine dining Indian restaurant.

Order a 6" plain ham and cheese grinder with American Cheese and ranch only on it for my daughter. Went to go pick it up was charged $9 and change. Driving home when it hit me that $9 and change is outrageous for a 6" with just ham and cheese. Called to confirm that I was charged right and was told they sell 8" and everything has gone up. have never in my life had the worst experience at a restaurant..EVER.. myself and a party of 4 others sat down and we had to get up to get service.. the place was completely empty.... after waiting 15 min my husband was told they would be right there.. and they were not.. totally empty restaurant .. have us 5 waters and 3 straws. took another 0 mms to come back for our order. they had coupons attached to the menu with NOTHING that said it was onLu for pick up or delivery so we ordered the pizza 2 toppings, 10 wings and a 2 liter soda for $28. someone else came out because the waiter was fine with it ..and said that it's only for take out or delivery (which makes no sense) what's the difference if I eat it here? but he would take a couple dollars off the order.. we get our food.. wings were over cooked and dry.. they did not get eaten and the pizza was bland.. 5 people eating it and everyone only had one slice.. they gave us ice free cups for the soda so we had to use the ice from our waters for the soda... never brought silverware OR napkins ..we had to ask.. they brought over one napkin for each of us.. now we are doing messy wings and greasy pizza.. we had to ask for more and they sent over 1 napkin per person again... got the bill.. it was $$$54 dollars.. for a large 2 topping and 10 wings that were nasty... this place doesnt even get 0 stars.. they get nothing... In my opinion, this is the best local pizza. I don't know if it's the sauce or if they add extra spices but the pizza always has the best flavor. I've heard there's better but haven't found it. read more

Never heard of this place before Covid-19. There was an article in the news about them donating food to first responders among others so I gave them a try. Solid pizza with a great sauce that didn't taste canned like so many others. I have had a few meals since then. Solid Chef's salad, wings are unique, and I have had a few of the Indian choices. I have never been disappointed. Whether I go with a Dinos special pizza, Italian or Indian dinners, it's always exceeded my expectations.

#1 Food took FOREVER to arrive. Pasta does not take that long to cook. #2 Horrible Italian food. Chicken piccatta tasted like crap. Way too much lemon it was like biting into lemonade. Owner would not take plate off bill after complaining and sending it back. So we had no food and still had to pay it. #3 Chicken Alfredo, the sauce, which they tout as being homemade, was so thick you could bite it and had no flavor. Never coming back. Don't recommend to anyone. Horrible service. Horrible food. Way too expensive Indian food. read more

We had a bad experience with them. Maybe their waitresses are underpaid and overworked, but it looked like they offloaded their frustration onto us. We had to wait 1 hour for our food to arrive, all the while the waitress wouldn't even make eye contact with us. When we finally asked her why it's taking so long, she was as unapologetic as she could have been and asked us talk to the owner. And now he owner wouldn't make an eye contact with us! We were like two kids stuck in between fighting parents. Anyway, the food was bad too. The chicken was undercooked, my friend had indigestion problems immediately. Came in Saturday night with the boyfriend. His grandparents rave about this place so I was excited to try it. Sat down and noticed they were short staffed. One waitress for the place. Albeit a small restaurant but still it caused a longer than usual wait for ordering, drinks etc. We ordered the bruschetta to start. What a mess. First it's on a toasted grinder roll. Secondly, any where I've ever ordered this, it has never had cheese or been served with marinara sauce. Finally, it was loaded with salt. Inedible really. My salad was nothing special. Iceberg, 3 slices of onion, a quarter of tomato and some cucumbers I believe. Entrees came out. I ordered the Dino's ziti that comes with sausage. Alas, no sausage. I let the waitress know it was the wrong dish and she checked with the kitchen. The owner came out to apologize and offer to make me a new dish or bring me out sausage but I declined. He nicely took 1/2 off my meal which was appreciated. Not sure we will be back but I'll think about it. read more

I love the Indian food at Dino's. We order regularly and have only had an issue a couple times. We always order mild and have had our food a bit spicy a couple times (though probably not spicy to the average person). Aside from that it has always been very good. Highly recommend. read more

The Indian food here is great, authentic and homemade. The owner takes so much pride in it and obviously loves when you order it. The pizza is also very good. A little pricey as far as take out goes, but for homemade high quality food of a large variety, quick service in house or delivered, totally worth it. I will never set foot in Dinos again. Months in advance the owner agrees to let us host a fundraiser there. After nine the night before he started calling and complaining that he didn't like the terms. I tried to reason with him that this was planned and agreed on and already advertised, but he tried to go back on every offer of help and service he'd made, and almost doubled our agrees upon fee. When we said we wouldn't pay, he extorted the money from us. He is a despicable chauvenist! Let me say in one sentence...worst experience of my life..worst service ..rude ,unapologetic and food was bad too. I came with two other guys to eat from a long day, I was not told that the food will take 50min to arrive . in those 50 min the waitress didn't even attend to us, told us it is going to be late ,after 45 min when we had to ask when is the food going to come they said "Ask the owner " . shocking attitude. They start to cook afterwards and in all the Indian curries that were served the chicken was undercooked. We could hardly eat whole meal. Afterwords they said people complain but we make Indian food from scratch and Indian food takes time to cook . FYI we are Indians ourselves . I've only ordered off of there Indian menu since it's the only place in Holyoke to get Indian takeout and the food is reasonable but every time I call they tell me something like 30 minutes and when I show up after 40 (because I know they're slow) they pretend like it's almost ready when I can see them just starting it and I end up waiting at least 20 more minutes. After this happening 4 different times I just drive to Pintu's when I want Indian. read more

I'm shocked by other reviews! Dino's has been my go-to pizza place for the last 3 years and their pizza is consistently delicious. I've only ordered off the Indian menu a couple of times, and it was pretty standard. I don't think I've ever ordered any of their Italian dinners. I love their pizza so much that I never want to order anything else. (Except I'm also impressed by their calzones, which are definitely the best I've had in Holyoke.) Their fried eggplant is amazing as a pizza topping, even though it might not be listed on the menu. I've eaten in twice. The first time, the service was great. The second time, it was really slow. That's the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. I've gotten delivery more often than one should probably be eating pizza, and it's always been on time - no issues - and totally delicious. If I were rating strictly on delivery/take-out, I'd give a solid 5 stars. read more

I go to Dinos for grinders or indian food. The Indian menu is pretty standard. Nothing fancy. I usually get chicken curry with naan and samosa. It's a little pricey for a pizza joint, but it's good food. Waitstaff is usually annoyed about something, but the owner is really nice and attentive. I have eaten in and ordered takeout many times from here. Their soups are tasty and the grinders are fresh and pretty substantial in size. read more

Not a complaint to give! Love this place. I have only been here for takeout Italian food, it's not a place I would personally see myself sitting down and eating in. The takeout is great. I get chicken parm every time and am always satisfied. Big piece of chicken, lots of cheese, and great pasta with sauce. Reasonably priced as well! So far we have tried the combo pizza and the margarita pizza and they have both been great. Haven't ventured out and tried the Indian food, but I'm sure that would be awesome as well. Where do I start, Dino's is my favorite restaurant. They are super friendly, plus, the owner & much of the staff is Indian. What this does is allow for a unique experience, an Indian-owed pizzeria that not only offers itilian favorites, but GREAT Indian food. I also LOVE THE VEAL, which I have included a picture of. Although it may seem counterintuitive for a pizza place to have Indian food, the owner is of Indian descent and decided to open an Italian restaurant. After popular demand, he decided to offer a limited Indian food menu. The reviews were so good, he now offers a full-time Indian menu alongside the Italian one. Which kind of make sense if someone in your party doesn't like Indian food, but you still want to eat it. The best of both worlds. The Indian food, by the way, is great. It is described as being more "home-style" which means less heavy with cream and dairy. So, we decided to have our pizza party for our basketball team at Dino's. What a wonderful decision we made! The staff were very attentive to us and seemed to truly enjoy a bunch of eleven year-old kids doing eleven year-old kid stuff while eating their pizza. The pizza was delicious! So much so that we ordered a nice big pizza for the family the very next weekend. Continues to be my go-to for nights when I don't wanna cook, or when friends are in town after a long work week. Dino has sort of gotten used to the fact that he rarely sees me with the same person twice, because I'm frequently bringing friends by after a hike, or picking up subs to take on a hike, or picking up a pie after an afternoon of gonzo home improvement. The waitstaff are always nice, though sometimes they do get a little confused about which toppings we ordered. They've also been a little iffy on remembering that we told them no cilantro on the biryani, and twice their sag paneer was on the salty side. But honestly, I could eat their chicken jalfreezi every night, and their dal is comfort food. It's also just nice to be recognized as a regular, which started happening pretty fast. Dino is great to have in our community-- he cares about the development of our neighborhood and has kids in the schools and he's always pleasant when I come in. read more
