Man, Siano's makes a solid pie for real. It's true that when you call to order they're very short, and when you pick up they're not really all that friendly, but they're pizza is so good. Called in an order at 11:10am when they opened and ordered 3 sandwiches - sausage grinder no sauce -roast beef grinder just Mayo Roast beef wrap w/ lettuce The order took an hour and a half and when we did finally get our food every sandwich was made wrong. Sauce was on the sausage, lettuce missing from wrap, and lettuce added to the grinder. If that was not bad enough the roast beef grinder was toasted. I called to ask for a refund and who ever answered the phone was rude and dismissive. Did not even apologize or offer to remake the order. Told me point blank he would send the driver back to collect the food before he would refund the order. Who does that! Our office orders from them once or twice a week. What a great find! On my way back to Albany, I got off the Pike to find a place to have a late Saturday dinner. Many places closed at 9PM so my choices were limited to chains and a few other eateries. I was first going to try and have dinner at Salvatore's, but the parking lot was really full and crowded, so I decided to venture a little more into Springfield and stopped at Siano's Pizzeria, which looks like a typical takeout/delivery pizza joint from the outside. I walk into a cavernous dining room with high ceilings, booths and tables with the jams of Kiss 95.7 blasting from the speakers. It's order and pay at the counter first with menus already at each table. If dining in, take a seat in the dining room and they'll bring out your food (full wait service with plates and silverware). The menu offers pizza, calzones (with ricotta), salads, apps, grinders, wraps, deli sandwiches (lunch only), pasta dishes, fried seafood, bagged Wise chips, and Coke products (bottle & fountain). The entree prices are reasonable (lunch & dinner prices ($3-$4 more than lunch)) with most entrees $7-$12, Italian dinners come with salad & bread. Lunch is offered until 4PM. I ordered the Chicken Cacciatore ($11.50 with tax) with an ice water and left the tip ahead of time in the jar. An older woman (I'll call her Momma) brought out my food and water in stages. The fresh baked hot roll was really good. The salad was big with a side of dressing had mostly iceberg lettuce with very ripe tomatoes, cucumbers, & green peppers. The good portion of Chicken Cacciatore was very good and tasty, which had boneless tender chicken, peppers, onions, marinated mushrooms, tomatoes simmered in a very hearty tomato sauce over penne pasta (not too soft, just right). The service was very good and I got refills on ice water and another fresh baked roll! Overall, I had a great tasting dinner with good portions at a reasonable price, but I had to bop out to Club Kiss. It's Saturday night and time to par-tay!!! read more

The owner is the rudest restaurant owner I've ever met! I asked for a pizza with light sauce and when we opened it, it clearly had too much sauce. I called the the restaurant and he refused to get on phone with me so I showed up with the pizza. In front of customers he refused to take responsibility but instead insulted me that I didn't know what I was talking about. So I asked for my money back...he basically threw it at me while telling me to never come back. Then his workers tried fighting my 16 year old son. To make matters worse no one wears a mask and they allow customers in without masks!!! A place like this should not be supported!!! My friend and I have been doing pizza reviews. This is one of the best. We score out of ten. The pizza was cut into triangles (1 point) The cheese was flavorful and cooked right. I order to calzone one was Buffalo chicken with onions and another one was pepperoni and cheese. But the man on the phone decided too make his own order when I pick my two calzone he has my calzón of pepperoni and cheese and made a chicken and onion pizza which want what I asked I was so over it and left but these people taking order need too pay more attention when the customer isn't pacing a order and recap too make sure if the order is right before charging people paid like $42.00 for something I didn't ordered I'm tired of dealing with people that don't listen. read more

Giving it juat three atars I just bought a party size pepperoni pizza and well here is how it went. Wait time was 40 minutes witch I didnt mind since I needed it to be ready around the time it got done . Crust is great but to my loving should be thiner it had good flavor also the size is great for the prize now the bad part; the sauce was too watery didnt have much flavor, very little pepperoni and not enough cheese also it tasted a little bit raw close to the cheese overall not something I want to recomend anybody like how I use to in my usual spot . I ordered a few trays of chicken for our Xmas dinner everyone went back for 2nds and some thirds. The chicken Fran was so perfect. All the kids ate, and we have some picky kids. 3.5 stars I've been here a few times now (it seems I've ended up here in many of my recent visits home). I can't say that I've been overly impressed with the food but it is good. The pizza is far superior to any of the chain types in the area, which isn't too hard to do when the competition is dominos and a pizza hut express. I've tried both their regular and their white pizza varieties. I personally prefer their red sauce. This past time I visited, I got the white sauce with broccoli, chicken, and garlic... while it was OK, I think it needed a bit more salt, or something... just missing some kind of seasoning to make it amazing. The crust though was perfect... crunchy, but not overly dry. The onion rings are decent. also tried the stuffed shells which made me wish I'd tried more of the non-pizza options for food... maybe next time. All in all, a good change from the masses of chain restaurants so prevalent in the area. read more

My family and I have been going to this place for years ordering pick up, ordering in and having them deliver to my house multiple times since they took over the old Quicky's spot. Today I come in and I am told they no longer take cards at the store but during delivery only. I ordered over the phone so when I get to the store I assume as it has been usual practice I can use my card. I called in my order and was NEVER told of the change of what happened Two weeks ago they refused to take my card and made me use their ATM which charged me a dollar. Had I known I needed cash I would have taken the money out prior to coming in and use a legit ATM d on my bank so I would not be charged. The young man who tended to my order was not a friendly guy either. I am all set from ordering from here ever again. read more

I wish I could give this 0 stars. My "bbq" chicken wrap was assembled terribly and had a watery red sauce that tasted like sweet and sour out of a bottle. The chicken parm with ziti didn't have ANY ziti and was overall soggy. The garlic bread wasn't even that- just a dry and unseasoned bread stick. The fish and chips didn't include tartar sauce. Not to mention the fries that came with the wrap were cooked completely different than the fish and chips, even though they were the same type. And to top it off, none of the workers had masks and couldn't keep track of an order. Have been to this restaurant many times in the last year. Pizzas have always been good. Ordered a pizza today, half and half, that we have ordered many times before. Called in order and drove in to pickup. Gave my name and person at counter correctly repeated the order to me. I confirmed and she handed me the pizza. I left the business without checking the box feeling confident that the order would be correct as in the past. Got home, opened the box to find the wrong pizza. Called SIANO's back to get a correction. Spoke with manager who argued that the order was correct. Manager then suddenly became more combative for no reason then suddenly said "don't come back to the restaurant". When asked why he gave no reason. The suddenness of this exchange suggests to me that they have done this before to other customers. I strongly suggest that potential customers seek elsewhere for their meal and better customer service. I will be filing a business complaint for an issue that could have been easily resolved in a different way. All of this nonsense over a $20 pizza. Even McDonald's has better customer service than this. Ridiculous! read more

The first inconveniencing downfall is that they do not accept any card payments inside the restaurant. Cash only, or you have to use the ATM and get charged that fee and your banks fee. If you order over the phone your charged a fee to use your card, on top of the delivery fee. They are very rude in person and even ruder over the phone. They also never give you the exact order total over the phone it's always an estimate. They recently missed up my order that was delivered, I called them to advise the mistake.. No sorry, no nothing the next words from the chicks mouth was "we will bring you the correct order, but you have to give us the wrong food back.... So were they going to serve the food to someone else?? Most credible establishments (at least the ones I have been to) take the loss, and allow you to keep the food for the inconvenience. They are over-priced for nothing, the food is mediocre at best. I honestly only go there for the convenience. I told the girl keep my money I'll keep the shitty, cold, messed up order, but they lost a customer for good. Going forward I'll be at Tony's or Red Rose. read more

There are a LOT of pizza places in this area, most are pretty bad or at the very least mediocre. Sianos pulls it out, they are absolutely delicious! Their small pizza is 8 large slices and you can get virtually any topping (my faves are broccoli, garlic and tomato with red sauce or pepperoni and pineapple with red sauce). I've never had a reason to complain about their food, cleanliness, service or how long I wait. Anytime we have people over and get pizza we always choose Sianos and everyone raves about it. I've not seen anyone not love it yet. I just cant express how happy I am to have a REALLY GOOD pizza place FINALLY! read more
