I had never gone to Mae's but had heard that it was definitely worth trying. Decided that football would be enhanced with a great pizza so I ordered a small Mae's Mac pizza. A bit on the pricey side but the people working were super nice and the pizza was ready when I was told. Walking back to my car I was impressed with how heavy the "small" pie was. It was hard to get home with the "Big Mac " aroma emitting from the box. Despite overwhelming urges I did manage to make it home before grabbing a slice. The first impression was impressive. Very generous portions of lettuce and tomato on the top was evident. Decent crust and good flavor but if the sauce amount was reduced by half I think I would have enjoyed it more. After two slices I was sauced out. A bit nauseating. Next time I would order with half the sauce. read more

I haven't tried any other pizza places in this area but I don't need to!! Found this place while in the area for a rugby game and it did not disappoint! Not only were the pizza slices bigger than my head, they were delish! Teriyaki wings were spot on and the staff were great people! Maybe I will grab a whole pizza next time and freeze it for later! This place is very small on the inside however they were able to accommodate tables together to fit our 7 people group. Being from California we were used to sizes being pretty small. Therefore we ordered a medium thinking it would be small enough for 1 person but that medium was a California large ! lol The have good service and their food is honestly some of the best here in Massachusetts. Very disappointed. Pictures online showed a thinner/lighter pizza. The individual pizza I ordered must have weighed 20 pounds. Way to heavy on the cheese and toppings-it was a mess. The crust was half burnt and the sauce had no flavor. The eggplant we got on half tasted like the oven. My husband and I each had one slice and threw the rest out. read more

I absolutely love this place! Have only had the pleasure of ordering 3 times now (there will be many more!), but each time the food has been amazing. Writing this now, because just ordered tonight, and just stuffed our faces, and then I received a call from Mae's because they were concerned they may have not made my grinder correctly. First, I am a super picky eater, so I had made substitutions and additions (through the app mind you). I started eating my grinder and it was so delicious it took probably 3/4 bites for me to even notice one thing was missing (which made no difference at all). Not only were the meats, cheese and veggies fresh, the grinder was packed full! I was so surprised to get a call from them, and assured them was absolutely delicious regardless, and one of the best, most satisfying grinders I've ever had around here. It says a lot about an establishment to take time out of their busy night to check in with a customer to make sure their order was okay. I will most certainly continue to recommend them to everyone! read more

I've only ordered 3 large sized pizzas so far. But the cheese, pepperoni and Mac have been really delicious. The crust is amazing. Lots of really flavorful sauce and the right (large) amount of cheese. Pizza is so good tasty and relatively healthy! Not greasy at all. The menu states that fresh dough is made in house daily and the big chunks of chicken I got on my pizza was so fresh!
