The location is very small with a handful of seats in the place so this is a nice place to grab the Dippin' Dots and eat them in your car. The staff was friendly, with the kid working behind the counter explaining the few different flavors they have to offer. I liked that they also have Hershey's ice cream and a couple samples I had were wonderful! I decided to split a small size of the mint chocolate chip. The flavor was delicious! For the size of a small, there was plenty in this cup that it would have been too much for me to eat the entire thing on my own. It was about $6 dollars for a small but that is reasonable because it is a little difficult to find dippin' dots in the area. The place was also very clean and the staff was friendly. Located in Kissimmee near Old town is Dippin' Dots!! Literally the only Dippin' Dots location I know of that isn't inside a theme park. The outside is a bit runned down but that's ok! They have MANY different flavors, I ended up getting the Monster Cookie flavor. It literally had cookie bites in every single bite I took. I love Dippin' Dots because of the ice cream, it's not your typical ice cream. It comes in little balls! The guy working there was so nice and let me try multiple flavors to see which one I liked. Went to this location around october with my Girlfriend. It was Dj that served us, aswell as giving us a very nice experience. There aren't alot of Dippin' Dots locations in St. Augustine. I have been coming here for years, I can say at least 8 years whenever we go to Orlando on family vacation. The disappointment is that it still looks exactly the same. The same old candy dispensers that don't have anything in it & the same little two tables to sit at. However, I was always excited to come because of the sampling of all the Dippin Dots flavors that you can't get anywhere else & they used to have my favorite flavor (Mint Chocolate) which the company apparently has discontinued & replaced with Cool Mint (Mint Dippin Dots with Oreo pieces) not the same. They used to have mix in's that you added to the Dippin Dots flavors & it seems now that they are just making flavors with mix in's already added which kinda suck if you just want the ice cream & not big chunks of candy, cookies, etc. In addition, we came two days this trip. The First Lady told us they did not offer military discount & the second lady gave us a military discount. I hope that they make some upgrades to this location & what they offer because it will be a shame for it to go down the drain. We need more DD shops! read more

Other than the theme parks, there aren't many places you can find Dippin' Dots ice cream. So this place is inherently a gem in itself. It's a relatively small store, nestled in a complex off of 192, and shows it's age. But considering the retro vibe that Dippin' Dots already brands itself with, it's a good fit. They serve a lot more variety of items than your standard Dippin' Dots kiosk at the parks. More flavors, and options like milkshakes, sundaes, and floats. Plus the staff is incredibly friendly. If you like Dippin' Dots you definitely must check this place out. Or if you've never had it before, you should go try it! If you have never had a dippin' dot it's hydrogen frozen ice cream into tiny dots that come in many flavors that you can mix and match. Many people think of them as Astronaut Ice Cream or the Ice Cream of the Future, but they are a place my Mom enjoys going to every now and then for a tasty treat. On this particular visit the young lady behind the counter seemed less than excited to have visitors in the store. I know that this shop doesn't do a tons of business during the day, so i would think that having custimers in would be a great way to help the day pass by but nothing we could say or do could bring a smile to her face. They have a larger variety of flavors but the staff is not friendly, and they did not allow us to have samples! No dippin dots has ever refused me samples before. Who does not love Dippin Dots! Specifically this Location needs to make a lot of upgrades. They use to have a candy station to add to your ice cream, and it was completely empty when we went. They are getting rid of a lot of good flavors such as the mint chocolate chip. They are now making them with chunks of crunched cookies and so forth and kept flavors no one really buys. I highly recommend upgrading this location and bringing back mint chocolate chip. The reviews prior to mine show mint chocolate chip but we were unable to purchase this specific flavor because the company stop selling it. read more

When we tried to order two flavors, we were abruptly stopped with "NO!!! You can only choose one flavor. Two for the medium and four for the large!!!" When we responded by asking if this had recently been changed, the woman (older woman, she reads a book when she is not paying attention to you...not the typical hs/college girl usually there) responded by telling me she has been there for 7 years and I am wrong. ....slowly walk away and start getting our ice cream somewhere else. Come on..I can see tourists being a pain in the ass..but this is taking customer service to a new low. If you can't be nice to people, do not work in a customer service position. If your employees cannot be nice to people, try training them. We have eaten here no less than 25 times over the years. We are very unlikely to come back with queen mcbitchy working the counter. There was soo much excitement when I realized that dipping dots was available not only at amusement park vending carts and was there for people to enjoy minus amusement park/parking tickets when I saw this brick and mortar store at the plaza! Stepped inside and immediately see a drabby employee mope around with her mop - def brought the mood down :( I was with a bunch of kids and we decided to try some flavors out to figure out our selection. The dipping dots girl was so unhelpful - with every question we asked she basically gave us a circular answer in terms of flavoring. I love the idea of Dippin Dots.Little liquid Nitrogen frozen balls of ice cream in all different kinds of flavors you can mix and match. It's really fun and I'm sure kids would love it. Clean, quiet place, good selection of ice cream dots and regular ice cream. Ice cream can me in a cup or a cone, including a waffle cone. The large waffle cone was 50 cents more. There are three different size cups for the dippin dots and we were able to select two flavors for the medium cup.
