The best way to see a movie , just lean back & put your feet up & watch a wide variety of movies in luxury seats. There's never a bad seat in the house, so come & enjoy a movie in comfort & style in one of six theaters. The snack bar has hot popcorn, pepsi products & candy to enjoy with your movie. If you missed the first run movies when they came out, now is your chance to catch up in comfort.

We rarely go to movie theaters anymore. There's just too many good options on the FireStick to want to leave the couch. And I think I'm getting a bit curmudgeon'y because most new movies that come out look terrible. :-P But Creed 2 brought us out to this Dipson last week, a theater that I've been to dozens of times over the years (since my teenage days, when movies weren't all terrible, haha). It's a second-run theater, but that doesn't bother me since it's extremely rare we rush to a theater on opening weekend for anything anymore. Because, again, movies are terrible now. (Okay, I'll stop.) Even though this is a bit of a trek for us, and there's an AMC blocks from our house, I'm a fan of this theater for two main reasons: cost and comfort. For just $11.75 total, my husband and I each got tickets plus a large soda to share, which came with free refills. It's hard to get one ticket for that price nowadays. Comfort-wise, this theater has recliner seating. So I'm not forced to leave the couch after all. We like taking the kiddos here too, since they also enjoy the recliners and its such a mellow blow to the wallet compared to full-price theaters. I deducted one star because the seating is not assigned, so it can get hairy finding two seats together when the theater is more full. We got to Creed 2 early enough to get a decent spot, but people were wandering the aisle and having to settle for random single seats not long after we arrived. So get there early, and for not much more than a ten-spot, enjoy a movie, a soda and a comfy seat with your main-squeeze. (P.S. Creed 2 was AMAZING. The soundtrack is my new running playlist, and I need a Creed shirt for my first 5K this spring, for sure. #OneStepOnePunchOneRound)

Ask the Community - Dipson McKinley 6 Theatres

How often do the movies change?

Depends- sometimes they can add a movie every week or two l, then they don't change for a month. I think they change minimum monthly, but when there's a lot of movies out, it's more frequent.

The overall vibe feels comfortable and welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful, even if things tend to move at a slightly more relaxed pace than at some of the other locations. Out of all the Regal theaters in the area, this is the one where I've had the best luck with food. If I ask for a specific item, they usually have it available, which hasn't always been the case elsewhere. They also do a great job with their movie selection, showing a wide range of flicks from the blockbusters to foreign movies, and the occasional smaller release. I do wish they had the small tables like the Elmwood Regal and that the location was a bit closer to me, but that's really just nitpicking. Overall, I've had consistently positive experiences here. It's a theater I'm always happy to visit.

I've seen them operating registers and serving food while all the other cashiers are taking care of other customers. Thank you for getting in there and keeping the lines moving! Aside from that, the theaters have always been clean when I go, more importantly, the restrooms are too. What I love, love is that there are recliner seats in every stadium and the distance apart from the back and front seats is PERFECT! I'm one of those people that doesn't like people kicking my seat. I don't want to feel like someone else is right on top of me and these seats are great. They're also numbered so for blockbusters, you should totally use their app and reserve your seats. For those who want to relax with a beer or wine, they have that too. When you walk in, go straight to the register for your tickets and food. I think it would be cooler if there was a register dedicated to "tickets only" instead of also taking peoples food order (you know, for people not buying popcorn and drinks) but I understand they're trying to make use of every register and not overstaff to save money, it's all cool. I'm just thankful there's still a person doing the job and not a robot or Kiosk that doesn't work. Lol Lastly, I also like the location of this theater, it's in its own area so there's no other traffic incoming from stores or restaurants, it's just sitting there by itself. Also in the area are Walmart, Aldi's Wegmans, Applebee's and several fast food locations like Five Guys and Ted's.

With declining viewership & attendance numbers the location closed it's second concession stand, the former spic & span theaters tend to be a bit messy, and the parking lot is a mess.
