Visited the screening room for an event and what a gem this is. People always ask, what can I do in the Buffalo area that is different. Well here it is! This small business with a lot of heart welcomes groups and the public for film viewings (they are currently playing 'Love Actually') Everything from private viewings for your group to regularly ran movies of the owners choice. This place screams nostalgia and quaintness in the warmest of ways. It gives vibes of if I had a the funds to build a home theater and extend it to include a dining room and kitchen. Our group brought in pizza and salad that was great. The concessions were reasonably priced. The service was pleasant and attentive. We'll be back!

Came here with my husband recently and we both loved it. Very chill, laid back, seating is tables or couches which you can reserve online ahead of time. I love it.

This is a cool little gem to come check out! I have been here for music on Wednesdays, and events - this is a really cool little spot. Their concessions are reasonable and delicious! We will be back soon!

Wow! What a super place to host a private party, with or without a movie. For the first time ever, I went to the Screening Room last week for a private event. Check out the website. The current schedule will show some of the possibilities. Poetry reading. Music. Why not a reading for a play? Or standup comedy? Or A bridal shower or baby shower. Yeah! A baby shower with a showing of Three Men and a Baby. Or Look Who's talking. Well, I don't know what all possibilities exist for using this great venue. And neither will you until you call and ask. Or try it out. Attend any of the scheduled public events. See what you think about possibilities. They have pop, beer, water, and wine, popcorn, soft pretzels, ice cream (dish, float, sundae). I had a sundae when I was there. Large dish of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and whipped cream... $6. Excellent. If you are looking for a neat and different idea for someone's birthday party... this is it. Or maybe for a fundraiser? But do check the schedule. Might be something you'd like to try on, see how it goes. I'm looking forward to another visit. Soon.

What a fun little spot to hang out! The gentleman who runs it was so warm and welcoming. The only complaint I have is that the seats aren't super comfy for long periods of sitting. Definitely looking forward to checking out other events at this place.

The Screening Room provides a unique venue for many kinds of gatherings. On this date we attended an All Star Jam. There is a concession area. Service is walk up. Limited snack options too, as well as drinks.

Good selection for snacks and beverages. They also have different alcoholic beverages for you to enjoy! The popcorn was delicious. Try the pulp fizz if you like mimosas! Definitely a cute date night spot! Service was very quick!

If you are looking for a unique night out , look no further than this venue . It is not only a theatre playing throwback movies , they also do interactive performances, trivia nights , dinner and a show plus so much more . Snacks and beverages (alcohol too ) available for purchase . There isn't a place in the area quite like it , and it's gentle on the wallet too .

This is a really awesome venue to watch a movie. Tonight was my second time coming here. I came here with my mom to see Rear Window, which is a classic James Stewart film. Grace Kelly also stars in it. The movie is only $7, $6 if you're a senior citizen. You can buy popcorn after you purchase your ticket. (My bucket of popcorn was only $4.50!!!) You can also buy beer or wine by the glass, or wine by the bottle. The prices are reasonable. They have extra butter and other things to put on the popcorn. My mom and I were going to sit towards the back but we ended up moving to the front row. The chairs were really comfortable. They have tables in some of the spots too. There was relaxing jazz music playing before the lights were dimmed and the movie started. It's worth it to come here, just for the ambiance alone. I'm hoping to come back here soon.

I've been here a few times now, most recently for their Princess Bride screening and trivia night, previously for a play that my friend was in. I really love the space here, it's got cool vibes. But, it is not cut out to hold the number of people that showed up for the princess bride night. We were packed in like sardines! But I can't knock them for it, because the staff is so great and it's such a cool space. They showed the movie first, followed by trivia. They even did a little skit acting during trivia which was a nice touch. Things I love: -all the mismatched chairs in the screening room. It makes you feel like you're in a giant living room filled with friends. -their snack menu has ice cream floats! Like an old fashioned soda shop. -movies themed decor everywhere! It's so cute -great people working there and volunteering and acting They host screenings, trivia nights and have plays regularly and it's truly a unique experience.

Nice venue. I saw a speaker there and it was a comfortable space to listen to a talk. There are different seats to choose from like theater style, couches and regular kitchen type at tables. The room is spacious so you aren't sitting on top of one another. The entrance is welcoming with movie posters and other movie related paraphernalia on display. The bathrooms are a bit run down but clean. Parking is plentiful and located near the entrance. For the talk we also had a potluck and there was a separate room where the food could be set up on long tables for a buffet. It worked out really well.

With declining viewership & attendance numbers the location closed it's second concession stand, the former spic & span theaters tend to be a bit messy, and the parking lot is a mess. Sketchy at night, and at times the theaters can get a bit out of control with loud & rude customers. Which tends to ruin the experience. On one occasion, while watching the latest John Wick film, my wife had the misfortune of sitting on a wet seat (yeah, it was urine & the trousers were ruined) Other than that, with a little caution, it's fine. Though I think a little more attention to detail & customer experience would go a very, very long way. It has so much potential.

Out of all the Regal locations in the area, this one has slipped into being the weakest overall. The staff experience is very hit or miss. Some employees are attentive and present, while others seem more interested in chatting with friends or sneaking phone time in over helping customers. The cleanliness has also dropped too. It's not dirty to the level of being gross, but it no longer feels well cared for or consistently maintained. The seating hasn't been updated, so it's still the old style, which honestly sums up what feels off about this location. It feels stuck in the past. Everything comes across as a little worn and tired compared to other Regal theaters nearby. There doesn't seem to be much pride or urgency in keeping the space polished. Concessions are another weak spot. The standard snack options are usually fine, but anything beyond the basics are regularly unavailable. I've also had very little luck with promotional snack, which are frequently out of stock here compared to other locations. This used to be one of the better Regal theaters years ago. I find myself choosing any of the other Regal locations instead, including driving all the way out to Orchard Park, when this would be the most convenient location for me coming from Lockport. I hope this theater eventually gets some updates... refreshed seating, improvements to the IMAX, or just a renewed focus on upkeep and staff engagement. It's possible things have changed since my last visit three to six months ago, but as of now, it's unfortunately a no for me.

I Love, with a capital L, the little tables on the recliners. I wish all of the local theaters would adopt them. It seems silly, but they are one of the main reasons this is my most frequented theaters... don't judge me. Lol. Where are they middle of the road? Cleanliness can be hit or miss. Some stuff is a little outdated, but I do believe they are working on that, there were new chairs going in recently. The food menu is hit or miss. I feel like out of all of the Regals that are in the area, they seem to not have what I am looking for most often, some of that is because I am here the most, but some of that seems to be an ordering issue or maybe Regal forces certain menu layouts even if a theater doesn't have those offerings... I am looking at you elusive Tandoori Popcorn. Last, but not least, is something I'll mention, but won't dock them any stars for, the location. I never personally feel uncomfortable here, solo or with company. I have had 2 partners that have said they would come with me, but not alone. I have also witnessed a couple of fights here. In this theaters defense, they can't help where they are located or who is around. In addition, they do a good job keeping security officers here, and I do believe they take customer safety seriously. Security seems to be responsive and I have seen them do everything from deescalate someone in the lobby, to deal with chatty/loud movie goers. Usually they are just a quiet presence and everything is smooth. There are less and less theaters in the area as time passes, I recommend supporting any theaters you can.

It has a somewhat strange, in my opinion, configuration with the stairs sort of winding around to get to the upper seats. Luckily we arrived before the (endless) coming attractions and commercials when the lights were still on. There was an entire 1/2 hour of commercials and coming attractions before the feature movie started. The theater loses a star for that 1/2 hour of commercials and terrible movie clips.

I also love that they run multiple movies at the same time across different screens, so there's something for everyone.
