He showed me where on the tire there was a broken belt which had caused a flat spot and a exposed belt. He told me that I should go back to the big box retailer and have them fix it. He did not charge me for the visit, I went back to the big box and this time they fixed it. I went back and had an alignment done about a month later and he did great work. The family of my childhood went to the latter. Before Wisser's expanded, he had gas pumps, so we bought our gas and got our car repairs there. Now, with more than double the bays, Wisser's is where my mother still gets her cars serviced. Rick and Jill own and run the repair shop. Rick's father, Dick, was the face of the business when I was a young driver, and I was conflicted about him. An excellent auto mechanic, he presented as a no nonsense man of few words, so I was scared to death of him. Rick is his equal as a mechanic and much less taciturn. His wife, Jill, handles the books. (As a side note, as of today's date, there are 4 earlier reviews that Yelp's algorithm has seen to exclude - see below - and they are worth reading.)

There was damage to one panel and the license plate light, they said they would take care of it no problem. A few other problems came up about took the trailer back to them on December 7 of 2024 and haven't seen my trailer since. Today is May 20, 2025. If I sneak in a call I get that beating around the bush feel. They made me feel like the interior panels wouldn't be covered under warranty delaminating, but the manufacturer assured me it was. No responses to emails now. I am in negotiations with lightning trailers to fix some of the problems and they won't even call them back. They backed into my trailer and damaged a few more panels. I asked for pictures about a month ago and they won't send me pictures of the damage. I live over 2 1/2 hours away so I can't just drop in. michael's Customer service is horrible and warranty. Service is horrible. I can't believe I am the only negative review on their page.
