Again Dawn came to the rescue. She assisted us with the information to deal with the matter. The repairs done were excellent, absolutely no complaints. Bonus...they detailed the inside of my vehicle too AND we did not have to return our Enterprise Rental, Dawn handled it for us, bonus surprise! They said they would be able to fix everything up no problem. After about a week they gave us a call letting us know it was going to take a bit longer. No problem, we know everyone is short staffed. After three weeks in the shop we expected our truck to be fully fixed and ready for us to continue using it as our daily driver. Upon pick up, the only thing that was fixed was a few cosmetic things... the steering wheel was completely out of place, the plastic pieces they took off on the inside where torn off and not put back on properly, plus the car was veering off the road . We let the shop know that the car was not driving at all like it did before the accident. They proceeded to say we were lying. We got a second mechanics opinion and they stated if the car was driving like it is now before the accident, it would show on the tires, which it does not. So we concluded that this would need to be fixed. We let auto body USA know this and they claimed we were still lying and that the truck must not be our daily driver. We tried getting the damages to our car covered under insurance as this was a cause of our accident. Auto body USA proceeded to tell the insurance company that the truck was like this before and we supposedly told them this. Even though they have never even seen our truck prior to the accident. Customer service was terrible, there was no transparency in anything that was done, no quote was given, and extremely unprofessional. We were hung up on when trying to talk this out with a representative and it was like pulling teeth trying to hear back from anyone on the team. Here we are in December, still with a broken truck. Trying to save people from the same trouble we went through!

I need an auto shop I can trust because I'm not enough of a gear-head to answer my own questions. Twice recently I've walked in talking like any crooked mechanic's ideal chump customer: no idea what's wrong, but ready to pay to fix it. Example 1: A year ago I brought my trusty old rust-bucket of a car in for a noisy exhaust. Nobody would've blamed them for simply doing the work I asked, but they did even better. They started with an inspection of the vehicle, and found a number of issues more serious than a mere noise problem. After checking with me, they started tallying up an estimate. Their official diagnosis: they *could* do a couple thousand dollars of repairs for me, but said I'd be wiser to save that money and put it toward buying a new car. Charge: $0. Example 2: Monday I hit a whopper of a pot-hole in my aforementioned new car. It blew out my tire, and bottomed-out my vehicle enough to dent the bumper. After getting the tire fixed the car felt fine, but I brought it to Muffler Man for an inspection, just to be sure the impact didn't cause any trouble. Their official diagnosis: no problems, nothing to fix. Charge: $0. I genuinely believe the folks who operate and run this shop would rather have a reputation for honesty than to have ill-gotten money. That's better than value -- that's values. Go some place else. I was disappointed with the lounge seating & stained ceiling tiles. The floor, walls & beverage bar were very dirty with weeks of neglect. I couldn't operate the coffee machine as the touch screen was down. The lounge was open to the showroom floor and in my last visit with a 2 hour wait, I overheard employees talking about their sex lives, gym accomplishments, playing loud offensive music & making fun of a customer picking up their new car after she left the showroom behind her back. Upon further inspection, Bob discovered that I had fallen victim to the Ford 4.0 v-6 dreaded timing chain slack adjuster failure. We talked it over and I decided to go ahead with the repairs. Bob did what appears to be a fantastic job. Everything is clean and looks brand new under the hood. The quality of the parts that he used are factory grade or better, and so far everything is running like new. I hope to be able to keep this truck another 1000k miles.
