Sit Means Sit - Durango 220lb Great Dane

I had her in the 10 day boarding program with Sit Means Sit and her level of obedience changed drastically! For what they do and offer, I believe they are reasonably priced. My dog continues to grow and improve, learning boundaries, obedience and strengthening the bond between us. The ongoing support and training Sit Means Sit provides after that initial start up is vital as both my puppy and I continue to learn together. The trainers are relaxed and patient; they're with you all the way! I'm so grateful to this program!

We have 2 very large male dogs who used to be best buds but when Durango my 200lb Great Dane hit puberty is when the trouble began. It started with a few spats and then one evening they were in the backyard and we heard them viciously fighting. There was nothing we could do. They were too strong. We tried everything. We had to let them go until they were both too exhausted to fight anymore. I thought for sure we were going to lose one or both. Thankfully although they were both injured neither one had life threatening injuries. Neither lost an ear or an eye. For almost 5 months we had to keep them separated which meant my spouse and I were separated constantly. We shared time with both dogs at different times in different places. It was miserable. We didn't have the heart to give one up. I reached out to a few trainers but once we had a conversation with Sit Means Sit, we were sold. I thought for sure I needed a Board and Train program and it was going to cost a fortune. They told me we could do that but they honestly thought we could pay half the money and have them train once per week for a few short weeks and receive the same results. It was less stressful all the way around. Both of my dogs are new boys. They are confident, obedient and so happy. Although this is a process, we have seen so much progress in such a short amount of time. Our dogs can now be PLACED in the same room so we can all be together. I am hopeful that someday soon they might be able to be friends again. We see glimpses that they want to play again. They wag their tails when they see each other. We will live in muzzles when together until were comfortable that there will not be any issues but they don't mind them at all. If your trying to decide on a training program, give them a shot. Thank you so much Donovan for helping us through this. Our dogs absolutely loved you. We will all miss meeting with you every week. We know you are only a call away. I cannot recommend them enough!!

The setup is great--warm water, adjustable pressure, and customizable nozzle shapes to suit your dog's needs. The price is reasonable, and it's a much easier experience than washing your dog at home. However, there's a downside: disinfecting the tub is required, but it has to be done during the minutes you pay for. Because of this, I've never found a pre-cleaned tub when I arrive. I end up spending time disinfecting before and after washing my dogs, which eats into the time I've paid for. It would also be helpful to add "vacant/occupied" signs to the doors. Without them, someone might accidentally walk in while you're washing, which can be tricky--especially if, like me, you have two dogs and one might slip out. Despite these issues, the station itself is great. They provide an air dryer, and the elevated tubs save your back. I've brought my dogs here multiple times and will likely keep coming back.

You have to swipe your card and it automatically charges to start, yet the machines aren't stocked with any soap! This happened the day after a snowstorm when people actually need a proper vehicle wash. I can't use the foam brush because I have a new black vehicle and it can scratch the paint. This isn't the first time this has happened here. Owners Justin and Cole both need to maintain their equipment and clean the place up it's gross. I can't recommend this place to any one as I payed money for just simple water.

We used Denver Pro Pet Sitting while we were on vacation and it was an absolute lifesaver. They checked in on our cats, made sure everything was taken care of, and sent updates that made it clear our little furballs were living their best lives while we were gone. Reliable, communicative, and clearly people who genuinely care about animals. It's such a relief knowing your pets are in good hands instead of just hoping the automatic feeder doesn't become their new enemy. 10/10 would trust them with our cats again. Pretty sure the cats didn't even miss us.

You can text, email, or respond in the portal. The sitters give you great detail on your pets bathroom and eating habits and medications. They also provide lots and lots of pictures! I was unfortunate enough to have an emergency while on vacation with no way to get home quickly or call anyone. Nelson and my sitter were absolutely amazing in handling the situation with urgency, care, and communicated with me the best they could given my limited availability. I hope I never have another emergency when I'm gone, but if I do, it's Denver Pro Pet Sitting I want taking care of my pets. Finally, they do their best to assign the same sitter every time. I really love seeing my sitter comment on my dog's health improvements since previous visits and makes me feel like they genuinely care about my pets and their well being.
