After reading all the Yelp reviews, I decided to bring my three large dogs in: two shepherds and one golden. I was very happy. I wish I took a before and after picture of my golden. WOW!!!! amazing job. They were very pleasant I even stressed how my old golden has arthritis and usually comes back sore from the groomers and that always concerned me. Today, she came back just fine..Happy beautiful and wagging her tail!!! Thank you guys... I wanted to add that even after a month my dogs coats look amazing....the shedding has decreased sooo much. My Pit, Mystery, is not so good with other dogs so I was concerned when I scheduled the appointment. The owner, Saige, relieved my concerns and I was able to get Mystery in this morning with no problems. I brought her in with her little buddy, Rowdy, a dachshund/chi mix and they had them in and out in a little over an hour. The price was affordable and the service was great. Ever since Saige left to open her own shop in Fallbrook, and Brittney moved to Texas, we've had Ray do Penny's grooming. She's gentle, loving and Penny just loves her to pieces. She can't wait to leap out of my arms and into Ray's. When I come to pick Penny up she turns her back on me and walks into the other room. She doesn't want to go home. I am very disappointed, I didn't get a call that my dog was ready so I ended up calling. The owner told me she tried me three times and my husbands cell. I looked at my phone and I had no missed calls or messages, why wouldn't you leave a message? I called my husband and he had no missed calls. She ended up charging me $10 for pet boarding. I work from home and could have easily have picked up my dog if I knew she was ready, I didn't need that service or the additional charge. I didn't know that they did this, she pointed to a sign that said $15 all day boarding charge, I have gotten my dogs groomed for years at various places so I didn't think to ask this when I dropped my dog off. They do a great job on grooming my dog but unfortunately they just lost a customer. read more

This place is awesome! It makes me sad we don't have a place just as friendly and nice in Vegas. I came in with both my yorkies go get their nails trimmed for only $10 total. The lady at the counter was incredibly sweet and you can tell she was passionate about animals. The moment I handed her my dogs, I knew they were in good hands. Dirty Paws takes great care of my lab when he goes in. He gets a dry dog puppy spa package and he comes home so soft and healthy feeling. It lasts a few weeks for him because of the holistic products they use on him. They're friendly and patient with my puppy and the customer service over the phone and in front is great as well. read more

I called Dirty Paws this morning to see if I could bring Rooney in for a nail trim. They were booked solid with baths and cuts, but could fit the Roondogger in whenever I brought him in. They are located off the first exit (coming from Fallbrook) in Temecula in the very first little shopping center on the right. Super easy to get to. The shop is clean and cute! I love the personal touch of the hand written price board. Saige took Rooney back after giving him a belly rub and gaining his trust. She clipped his nails and brought him right back to me in no time at all! Saige was extremely loving to Rooney and he showed no signs of apprehension or anxiety. Thanks for doing such a great job! Spent a $100 on a shower and a cut for my golden but what a got was a shower and a trim. I know the price goes up for bigger dogs but still that's too much. The past couple of times I've been here I got my moneys worth. They would cut his hair very good and was expertly done. Now I feel like they just do the bare minimum. I used to pay around $75 for shower and cut now it's $100?!? Customer service used to be great. Very friendly, but now they want you in and out. Barely any time to say what I want done. read more

Only place who I called (local) and booked me immediately. Luckily they had an opening so I rushed over. Extremely friendly place... The moment my baby walked in they showered him with love and kisses. He needed a serious trim for a week long trip. I told her what I wanted and he came out looking exactly how I envisioned. His grooming and cut was $45 (you get exactly what you want). It's a little out of the way if you live in Murrieta and its location is right by the highway in a small plaza. Certainly worth the miles. They charge $1.00 for debit or credit card use and if you are late a $20 late fee (but they call you ahead of time). Also, they have spa add on and different services etc. Parking is limited since its in between 2 restaurants a pizza place and Thai food. Anyways... Give it a try. Call ahead. read more

My dogs act like they're going to the beach, not the groomer and I love how great they look. It's very difficult to find a groomer that doesn't look down their nose at you when you bring in your dirty, stinky, over due for a grooming, dogs but we have. I have really struggled to find a groomer for my very nervous dog. Dirty paws was willing to give her a try and recognized instantly that she was more fearful than aggressive. They took their time and did her grooming in stages so she didn't get too overwhelmed. I was so impressed with what they managed to do. I told them even if they could just brush her I would be happy but they managed to get everything done because they took their time and gauged how my dog was responding. I have two dogs-Bert (Brussels Griffon) and Ernie (Yorkie-chi). They are a year old and because Bert was traumatized from a grooming experience where he was cut pretty bad in the rear, which got badly infected, he is terrified when ever I've had him groomed, which hasn't been very often since I decided since this incident, to groom him myself. A friend of mine raved about "Dirty Paws" and so I booked an appointment for both dogs. I was a bit nervous, but once I entered the grooming spa and was cheerfully greeted by the owner, "Sage"-I felt so at peace leaving my babies there. She embraced both of them and gave them kisses and I could tell they trusted and loved her as well. When I returned, I was blown away at the AMAZING job they did with Bert & Ernie!!! They looked simply adorable!! Sage explained how she held Ernie while grooming him, because he was the one that was kinda shaky. Go figure! Bert did great! He was not terrified. No more trauma!!! She also gave me some great advice on how to get them used to being groomed. I cannot tell you how thrilled I am with Dirty Paws Grooming Spa!!!! I like that I can just drop in for the nail trims at any time without an appointment and they take her back and trim her nails right then. They do the best job in all of the Temecula/Murrieta area. What a great cute little place! We wanted to take our Smooch to a place that was friendly and comfy as she is already skittish as is, so this ended up being just the place. The groomer was very friendly and knowledgeable and was very attentive to our dog's needs and care. When we picked her up she was so pretty and coat was so shiny.
