ServSquad did a great job cutting down a large dead pine tree on my property, as well as cleaning up various branches along the way. They also let me use their 17" wood chipper to mulch a bunch of stuff in my brush pile. They normally charge $999 for four hours with two guys with chainsaws, but the "ncrowd" app had a 50% off deal, making this the best investment I've made all summer. If I could give this company no stars I would --- we purchased an Angie's List deal 3 Mosquito Treatments for $119 (thinking we had found a deal). We were wrong! I called the first time and some 'dude' answered the phone and I explained to him that I had purchased the deal and wanted to set up my first treatment. He told me he could maybe come by next week on... Wednesday or Thursday or Friday or Monday... I told him I needed to know the date so that I could unlock the back gate and make sure the dogs were up. He told me Thursday so I made sure the gate was unlocked and received no communication whatsoever but found a business card on my door after work. ( I am fine up until this point). We purchased the deal in Mid-July because mosquitos in Georgia are horrible throughout the summer - I wanted to have treatment done in July, August and September. We have contacted the same 'dude' each week (sometimes multiple times) he gives the same response "I can come maybe Wednesday or Thursday or Friday or Monday or Tuesday but I can't let you know the exact day". So we have told him numerous times that we need to know to unlock the gate. He has CONFIRMED with us on 3 occasions and told us he would call us to confirm the exact day and time next week (only to not call back at all). At this point its late September, mosquito season is coming to an end and this horrible company is still jerking folks around. I am in the process of of getting a refund through Angie's list and will be submitting a Better Business Bureau complaint on both Angies List (who are being difficult as well) and this company. Save yourself time and effort this place is unorganized and flakey. read more

Very professional and courteous. We were very happy to have a certified arborist oversee the work. Needed a few tree limbs cut off, something we wished the builder would have addressed...but I it fell on us instead. Marc and his team's clean up was top notch as well, our driveway was cleaner after he left than before he arrived. A special deal may have brought us to Servsquad, but his work will bring us back as repeat customers. We look forward to doing business with Marc and his crew again in future. read more

I found them on Angies list. The deal was supposed to be $1600 worth of work for $899. It included $899 for two tree service professionals for four labor-hours each Consultation with a tree arborist Inspect your trees for potential problems and hazards Dumping fees (several hundred dollar value) Tree trimming, seasonal pruning, complete tree removal, limb removal, They were an hour late, with no phone call. They chopped down three trees. I asked for 1 foot sections so I could chop them later. He said ok but then didn't do it. They couldn't get the shredder into my yard. It was suppose to be 4 hours for 2 guys which is what the deal was for. They were here for only 2 hours and 45minutes. They didn't clean up, and they left all these large section of trees. My yard is a mess.I asked for a discount because they couldn't get the shredder into my yard and he said no. They did a terrible job. He gave me a hand written invoice that said I was satisfied to sign. I felt pressured and bullied. I don't know why he didn't give me a real professional invoice. Maybe it had something about a satisfaction guarantee on it. . But they didn't do that. My husband called after the work was done, the guy said he would come back out the following week to cut the logs into smaller sections. He never showed and never called. read more

Awful, terrible company run some rather immature children. This is being kind. I bought a mosquito treatment in early May as a mothers day present, I started calling this awful ass backwards company around May 10th to set it up and I never once, not from then to May 28th, not once got someone on the phone when I called them. Always got a voicemail and only got called back twice. I answered on the 2nd try, which took 2 weeks mind you, I was told on May 21st when I talked to the derpy manager/employee that I would be added to their schedule within the next day or two. I waited a whole week for these silly idiots to call me back and it never happened, so I called them today and my wife left a pretty straight to the point voicemail (because its hard for them to answer their phone apparently). Finally the owner, I assume, called me back cursing me out about me being unprofessional and how they wouldnt do my yard. Apparently its my fault, im in the wrong, that these morons can't answer their phone, get back to their voicemails in a quick and timely manner and cant handle criticism of their faults. This company is so horrible that I am signing up on yelp just to let you people know how bad this company is. read more

I purchased an Amazon Local coupon for $99 for $200 of tree services. I was initially contacted by Mark, but never was able to get an appointment. I left a couple of messages, but wasn't contacted. I went out of town for a couple of weeks, and called the original number and actually spoke to a guy. I don't think it was Mark. He asked if he could come that day, but I was working. So, he said he could do the next day if I was flexible. I agreed. He said he would call. I took the day off from work. I waited all day, no call. I called around 4 to see what was happening. He returned my call about 5 and said he would come out after he completed a job in Decatur. He never called back or came. He didn't even call the next day. Not professional at all in my opinion. I called Amazon Local, explained the problem and they were kind enough to issue me a refund. I would not recommend this company to anyone for tree service. I didn't appreciate taking a day off, and wasting mony day. It seems that it would be common courtesy to call and explain that they couldn't make it, and reschedule. I am thankful that Amazon issued the refund. read more

I hired Serv Squad to cut down a tree that was taking over my house. I received 3 estimates for the tree service and I chose Serv Squad because their bid was the most affordable of the others. The service was good, the men were professional, they cleaned up behind themselves as well. They got in and got out. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because I was initially quoted a lower price that I was prepared to pay and that was clearly agreed upon when the tree was inspected at my home, but then the price increased as they began doing the work due to an underestimate of the debris clean up. However, I will say, despite the fee increase, the owner and I did settle on a fee increase that was still lower than what it would have cost to use the other two companies, but I really like to know what I am going to be charged upfront without any surprise increases unless I am clearly told that the quoted fee has some contingencies involved. Aside from that matter, overall, I would definitely use Serv Squad again and also refer others as well. Thanks Guys! read more
