Calling a number that was received from searching for a locksmith in Decatur. In return, they sent out Mr. Caffey. He's been very disrespectful and uncaring about the damages he created to my van. When calling to complain about his services. Mr. Caffey pretended to be the 1st Company's resolution department. He assured me all would be taken care of. Receiving a personal email that He's never responded back to has been very frustrating.  Please, Please, please find a kind, caring, professional  Locksmith and Mr. Caffey 24/7 Locksmith is definitely not the one to choose. Was told there would be a $25 service call fee and labor started at $29 depending on the type of vehicle. Was told they could have someone to my house in 15-20mins. Called a local competitor and was given a quote of $55-$65 for my 2005 Dodge Durango but it would be 30mins before they could get to me. Unfortunately decided to go with Eric the Shady Guy because I was already late for work. Not only did the guy show up 1hr. 40mins later they wanted to charge me $150 for the 2 mins it took for him to enter my vehicle!!! I then tried calling the business to speak with a manager/supervisor to dispute the outlandish cost and was told that he would not accept my call unless I paid for the service! Complete BS!!! Stay away!!

The star is for the guy showing up on time on a Sunday night, and for getting us in our home (although if I could give zero stars, I would). It cost us around $175 and after we were in the house, he asked us for payment in cash. We don't carry cash. He wouldn't take a credit card (despite them advertising as credit card friendly), so we paid with a check. However, the locksmith had no idea what he was doing. Our lock AND door are totally busted, broken, in pieces. We had to give up a day of work (since we didn't have a way to lock the house) so the technician could come back Monday night and fix the lock, only for him to tell us he had the wrong size lock with him and wouldn't be able to fix and replace it. He had no idea *how* to fix it, even though he's the one who broke it. On Tuesday, he was supposed to come over in the morning to try again, but called us to ask if we could ask our office if they have replacement locks he could use since he didn't have the correct part. We had already explained to him on Sunday that no, they don't, this is not an apartment complex but an owned condo. They don't carry locks, we don't have a maintenance office. That's why we're calling a locksmith. He said he could not help us. We ended up calling a different locksmith company to see if they could help fix the damage done by this company, because J&M's technician didn't have the parts to fix what he broke. Plus, he asked us to call someone else to find the lock. According to the new company, there are pieces missing and broken, and they made so many errors that we need a specialty lock ordered. Now I have to keep spending money to fix what they damaged. We called J&M on Tuesday to explain the damage that was done and ask for a refund and/or damage reimbursement since they directly caused the unnecessary damage to our door. We sent photos of the damage, per their request. We called them twice and both times they said they'd call us back - they didn't. We called again, they didn't answer. We called twice on Wednesday, they still didn't answer. We sent a text on Wednesday asking them to call us back, and they finally texted us back saying they wouldn't do a refund because we didn't contact their office - even though we had been in touch with their employee directly. Their employee said they didn't have the parts, the reason we had to contact another company was because they didn't have the parts. And yet their reason for not giving us a refund is that we should have contacted their other technicians? NEVER do business here. Ever. This was beyond poor customer service, it was a never-ending nightmare. I even filed a complaint with the BBB, which the company ignored (this action can be found on the BBB website).
