Brought my recently purchased Lexus gx460 with 220K miles in to A+ on May 15 because of a "clunk"…read morethat could be heard inside and outside the car as well as actually feeling it. Was told that I would have to pay $800+ just to leave it with them but as long as they fixed the clunk for that amount I would be happy. When they called me the next day they gave me a pitch about the cost of Lexus parts and that there were codes indicating that the transmission and rear differential needed "servicing". They then told me the cost would be $8700 and I was shocked and asked if I could come pick up the car and they said they would have to put it all back together. I then asked if this would fix the "clunk" and he said he would guarantee it. On May 23 I paid the invoice and as soon as we drove it off, the "clunk" was still there....I returned the car on May 26 and now it is June 1st and the car is still at the shop still broken. So what they worked on did not fix the problem, should I have to pay for it? Do repair shop have carte blanche to say anything with a code needs overhauling?

I went to discount brakes after my car started making an awful sound while applying the brakes. I did not call or set and appointment I just showed up and they saw me right away!! They had an outside waiting area with a table and chairs and an inside area which I loved due to covid-19. The mechanic was SO kind and knowledgeable he even took my husband over to the car and showed him all of the problem areas with an example of what it should look like. He didn't have to do that but it gave us total peace of mind knowing we weren't getting ripped off. Pricing was fair and they completed it in a timely manor and with so much kindness PLUS! We got points we can use as cash towards any other repairs we might need in the future, free road side assistance for a year and CRAZY GOOD warranties on all the work. The owner even texted us a few days later just to make sure we were satisfied and everything was going well. I mean I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Thank you so much!!! My car 2017 was not working I know it needed alignment. I took it to Discount Inspection & Brakes. They told me beside that they need to repair the outer tie rods on both sides. They had to order parts an get the under-warranty department to help with the cost but they did everything from getting the part an help with the warranty .Very helpful it took 1 day to order the part a 3 day to fix my problem .Thank You very much for you help a your workers Great Job! read more

I came here before, so this is my second time coming! Very friendly service also pretty quick too. The first time to get my breaks and rotors replaced and checked it too max 2 hours. Well, I got my 2009 Pontiac G8GT with the problematic sensors fixed, and I was finally able to get the car inspected.
