My tire got damaged early in the morning. I pulled into Discount and waited for them to open. Silas came and took a look at my tire and let me know what the situation was and the fact that my tire needed to be replaced BUT because I bought the tire from Discount not long ago it was covered. I was super bummed when I first came in and am leaving with a smile because of how well Discount took care of me and how helpful Silas was! Made an appointment for two new tires, and to "save the best for spare" as my car did not come with a spare tire when I bought it. We had told them when setting the appointment what we needed done. Got there early, they took the car back early. Finished in about an hour. Two new tires: Yes. Asked about the spare...and the mechanic tapped the back of the car and said "Yep, it's in there, all done!" Got home and checked, no spare. Not even the "save the best for spare" part of the tire. As there was no spare, it was very obvious that the space for the spare was still empty. Drove back and asked about this. "You need a rim." Yes, of course. I thought I had already paid for that as part of the original service. I had been talking about a spare tire the entire time we had been setting up this service, as I needed a spare tire. Paid for the rim, no problem. No comment about not completing the original job or apology. Finally, got one of our original tires put on a rim. The mechanic helped put it in the car. I asked for my receipt for the rim as he had not given one to me after my purchase. He went back in the store and was able to find the receipt immediately. He reported that the tire he selected (the save the best for spare) had a nail in it that he removed and patched. Did not refund the disposal fee for that second tire that was not disposed of as it was turned into a spare tire. That is just a $2 fee, I won't sweat it. I went there to get a leaking tire checked. Everyone was very friendly and professional. It was a very busy time, so I left the car to pick it up in an hour or so. It turns out there was a nail in that tire, as expected. I was pleasantly surprised that they had already patched it and free of charge. Hard to beat that! What's more fun, buying a flat screen TV or tires? If you answered tires then you are the only redneck currently using Yelp as a resource. Anyway, if you have to buy tires and put off the flat screen TV purchase, this is the place. On the other hand, if you decided to buy the TV and let your wife and kids drive with bald tires you may burn in hell for prioritizing the TV! Did you know the number one combustible resource in hell happens to be used tires (which when burning give off a terrible odor and toxic fumes). I have been getting tires at this location for 10 years. Spending money on tires sucks, but they make the process as painless as possible.Always great employees and courteous service. Not sure what upper management is doing but other companies could learn from them. read more

Came in to have a nail removed from a tire, driver rear side. After learning the tire was not holding air and needed replacement, I elected to trade in the other 3 and buy 4 brand new. When the truck was ready, I walked out and from a distance immediately noticed a huge gouge in the chrome wheel (passenger front). It looked similar to when a metal tool tool is used inappropriately to break the seal, along with some scratches next to it. Also noticed the chrome valve stem caps were missing. Spoke to the manager who insisted it was from curb strike. Nope - never there before I dropped off the truck. And you absolutely can't miss noticing this damage, from a good way off. All the wheels were filthy with tire lube and magically someone produced the chrome caps after about 5 minutes. My family has been using Discount Tires 10+ years for every vehicle we've owned - trucks, Jeep Wranglers, etc., so not inexpensive tires. This was my last visit. You just lost a customer. read more

Stopped in to have a screw removed from my tire. Pulled in at 740am and settled in to wait until they opened at 8. At 7:50 the garage doors opened and 4 men walked out to the cars parked and waiting. The gentleman helping me was very kind, polite and efficient. I walked in with him, he got me signed in and I was in my seat within 2 minutes. Again I settled in for what I thought would be a lengthy wait at the wall of windows looking into the garage. Every mechanic in there was working fast but carefully, paying close attention to what they were doing. 10 minutes later my name was called and I was out the door and on my way to work! A mechanic had pulled my car around and was holding my door for me. I know my tires don't have much life left in them, easily needing to be replaced in the next six months, but they never pressured me about buying new tires, although he did mention it- to which I replied and told him I was aware, but not ready yet. He nodded and told me he hoped we chose discount for the replacements. Amazing experience, fast, friendly service. I will definitely be back, and will buy my replacement tires there. read more

Went to get a flat tired repaired. They didn't even check for a leak. They took the tire off the rim of my spare and refused to put it back on. I had to buy a new tire for a price for almost double what I was quoted. The new tire they made purchase wasn't even put on that tire. They replaced one on my car and left me with a rim for a spare tire. Stay away from these guys. read more

THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS! Never shop for tires here. Second worst tire shopping experience of my life! The first was the same day at a Discount Tire location just down the street. I came in with a written estimate from another tire retailer and all was well. The sales people were friendly and helpful, but that didn't last long. After a couple minutes of plugging away at the computer, they called for assistance from the manager(Johnathon Siefert). After he finished shouting in the shop, "Where's he at?! Where's he at?!" while the shop door leading into the lobby was open, he came barging in. He looks at it and says, "I'M NOT HONORING THIS!" and proceeds to shove the estimate in my face. WHAT THE HECK?? At this point I'm still being polite, and ask "Okay, well, how close can we get to this estimate? What can you do?" He prints up an estimate for over $140 more than the competitor and says, "Here is what I can do." This estimate did not include the Free Tire replacement certificate AND was the regular retail price for the tire anyway. There was no deal at all. NO PRICE MATCH. NO HELP. NO WAY. They absolutely refused and that was the end of it. read more
