Per usual, I waited until the last minute to get my tires rotated and chose the Saturday morning of Memorial Day weekend to take my car to Discount. I knew what I was in for as far as other people who waited until the last minute as well. The line outside the store before it opened only confirmed what I knew might be a long wait time. Staff were ready even opening the store a few minutes early. They greeted each of us with professionalism and courtesy. I appreciate the text notification giving me estimate estimated time of service completion. I was pleasantly surprised when my car was finished early. The guy how helped me in the morning was awesome. Very courteous and thorough. In and out in about 10 minutes. Picking up my vehicle though, the wait time was awful. Took almost 30 minutes just to get my keys. Although, the young woman in from of me and the young lady behind me had their vehicles brought to the front door for them, without even asking. Also, be careful walking in the parking lot. The employees moving the vehicles don't pay attention. Almost got hit by a truck one employee was driving when he was making a u-turn in the back parking lot. They need to slow down and pay attention the their surroundings. read more

I try to give a positive and honest review with each business I evaluate here on Yelp... However, today's experience was a bit challenging and it definitely exercised my patience! The positive is that Discount Tire will always fix a flat for free! They are very helpful in fixing a flat. They helped me with my rear right tire that found a screw. I was in a bit of a panic (this morning) as my PSI levels were dropping, so I quickly adjusted my day and pulled into this Discount Tire shop. Upon arrival, they let me know they were quite busy and I would be getting out of there about 1:30 or 2 PM. I said that should be fine, because I had a little bit of time to spare. Unfortunately, they failed to keep me updated on the timeline. At 2:15 I asked them what was taking so long and they said that I still had 6 vehicles ahead of me. I was frustrated because they failed to give me real time updates and instead gave me an elusive time of completion. By 2:58, they were just pulling my vehicle into the bay. Once in the bay-they always get it done quickly. However I had wasted several hours throughout the morning, lunchtime, and afternoon waiting on my vehicle. Overall- they fixed it by 3:38pm. Hit a Texas size pothole on 40 west of town. Getting gas a fellow noticed a tear at the bead on my run flats left front. Discount on Coultee was just down the road. Guys are straightforward and were informative. Bought Hankook Kinergys in 235/70/15 for an s10 and got a decent price on them. I have had issues with the guys either stripping or not tightening plastic nuts that hold on my hub caps though. They did replace all the plastic nuts though free of charge. I will from now on take the hubcaps off before I go in to avoid future conflict. Other than that its been decent. The reason I go here is because they use a torque wrench on the lugnuts instead of just rattle gunning them. If lugs are overtightened they can snap and cause a serious wreck after all. So some peace of mind is nice. read more

Waiting over 2 hours isn't that bad. What's bad is after all that they severely overinflated one of my tires to 81psi which obviously I didn't notice until I hit a pothole causing the car to bounce across the road. They informed me they had issues with some of the lug caps but what that meant was they damaged them and possibly rounded the whole lug nut and had no plan to replace them but now I will have to. Not worth what I paid for service at all. read more

Went in to get a flat tire fixed. They looked at my tire and told me they would not fix it because it had a previous patch on it from someone who was not them. Told me it was unsafe because it was not fixed with a plug. They informed me that I must buy new tires because they would not put my tire back on. They did not even look to see that there were two nails in my tire. I drove away in my donut to find a shop who knew that a patch is a better way to fix a tire than the cheaper faster plug. They did not know the difference between an AWD and a 4WD. Glad I went in on a Friday evening or I would not have been able to make it to work the next day on a donut. read more

I went the Coulter store to get my tire repaired, they refused to repair it due to having a previous repair done by someone else. They refused to put my tire back on the rim and I had to put the spare on. I took the tire to Firestone and they inspected the tire and repaired it in 15 minutes and said the tire was safe to drive with the old and new repair. The tires on the car less than two months old, but discount tire said I had to buy a new tire from them for $290.00. The wait was almost 2 hours, the employees were rude and belligerent. All they care about is selling new tires and will lie, cheat and steal to do it. They say it is their policy, but their policy is designed to coerce people into buying a new tire once they have left you with no other option after removing your tire and refusing to put it back on the rim. read more

I'm usually very happy with the friendliness at this place but the last 2 times have been a huge disappointment. I can't afford brand new tires and I was told I need 2. Usually they are willing to work with you on what you can afford but they would not budge. I even told them the same tires elsewhere were cheaper and they offered me a 5.00 discount. Yet the guy next to me was offered half off his tires. They were rude and acted like because I'm a female they can try to jack up the price. I'm never going back ever. I showed up a few minutes early so by the time the pulled my car into the shop it was almost right at appointment time. They completed replacing all 4 tires in under 30 minutes. I needed to replace 1 tire so I went on line to search for the lowest price Discount tire said this store had 8 of the tires that I needed but when I got to the store they told me all they had was a tire for $50 more. After I told them their website listed them with 8 tires he somehow managed to find one. He then told me the tire I wanted to use as a spare could not be mounted.
