I brought in a set of four tires purchased online to this location for installation. The gentleman who helped me--his name tag said Ryan--chastised me for not purchasing the tires from his store and implied only a fool would purchase tires on the internet because his tires come with lifetime rotation and flat repair and online tires do not. He belittled my decision to purchase tires online and was impolite and condescending. Tires, like insurance, are a necessary evil. We buy them because we need them and there are hundreds of options for purchase and subsequent service. This Discount Tire location has lost any potential future business from me. And, I'm not likely to use the brand anywhere else because of how I was treated. read more

I can not thank these guys enough. I have had a TPMS problem for a couple of years. These guys have always taken care of me right away. I finally decided to buy some new sensors online and have discount install them. They installed them for a great price and it was quick. One of the sensors didn't work so I had to get a another one sent from the online company. I took the car back and discount installed it for free! For years I have wanted to take my tire buisness to costco because I don't like to haggle with the price. I am so glad that I have stayed with discount tire. You can't beat the service and if you are willing to haggle a little you can get a great price as well. I would highly recommend the guys at this store to anyone. read more

These guys rock! I was a day late for their Labor Day Rebate Program when I forgot to call Mike after I arrived home from work to retrieve my Discount Tire card. No problem, the next morning Bill and other staff members took care of it for me. I'm always able to buy tires at a lower price at Discount Tire compared to the competition. My daughter went in and got ripped off. She had brand new tires put in her car and spent 400.00. Then she drove her Honda Civic and her car shook at 60 mph. She took the car back and they told her that the tires she had bought were not good and that she needs to buy the medium grade so for another 100.00 they told her that could upgrade her. This is a scam and why would discount tire sell a tire that is not okay to drive in the first place. Beware you will get ripped off and they will not stand behind their tires. I would go to Big O or Les Shhwab they may be a little bit more but you won'tt have to dal with all the crap. read more

I will never take my tire business anywhere but Discount Tire in American Fork. They always take good care of me, but never better than today! I am so grateful to Joe, the tire guy! My front tire keeps going flat so I took it in to get fixed. Joe called to tell me that it really needed to be replaced because on the inside it had worn all the way down. I said it would have to wait. I just don't have the money for that right now. When I went to pick up my car he told me that they just went ahead and replaced it. I think he must've seen the look of panic sweep across my face because he quickly added that when they filled it up they found a "bump" so they just replaced it under warranty. He told me he couldn't in good conscience let me leave knowing I'd have a problem with it soon. I almost cried and hugged him right there in the tire store! After the week I've had I just really needed something to go right and thanks to Joe the tire guy, it did! I love Joe! I prayed all the way home that many blessings would be poured out on Joe and the tire guys! read more

I preordered my new tires, set an appointment. I was told 40-50 minutes max on replacement. Took over 1:10 minutes for service. Not real excited about being late to work. Very frustrating to say the least. Maybe plan on adding more time than they tell you. read more

My tire went flat on a road trip and I called AAA and they had me find a tire place within 5 miles to tow my car to and Discount Tire had the best reviews so I sent them there with my car. They were great and fixed my car fast. Since it was an easy fix I wasn't even charged for it. Thanks again!! read more

Got tired from discount with the warranty. Unfortunately, I had to use it often but everything was smooth when I would bring my car except the last time the guy (I didn't get his name) tried to overcharge me. I reminded him to look at my file because he would see this wasn't my first go around with the warranty and I knew how it worked. Of course he pulled he whole routine of he's already doing me a favors attitude so I left without having the warranty fulfilled. I was just going to buy a whole new set from a place with better customer service but was irritated I would be out so much money when he warranty was good!! So we went back to discount and luckily we dealt with Davis who corrected the problem and got us back on track better than I could have expected! We have a lot of cars in the family and we have all used discount for years so Davis just saved a lot of business. read more

I waited 1 hr 5 minutes to get a tire fixed.. Discount says they repair tires as a free service if you purchase your tires from them.. If you wait until all paying customers are helped.. Should be the fine print. But after waiting for a hour.....The tire had not even been fixed. I waited my lunch break to find out I have to go back again. NO WAY. I will find another shop to fix my tire. Even if I have to pay. Caution if working with these guys in American Fork. Old management was much better! New manager needs some training before he is anything like the old manager!!!!!!!!!! read more

Great service and fair price. Manager there is always going out of his way to make sure I'm happy with tires and service I got. When I had special valve cap missing from my BMW he made sure and got me a replacement few days later. read more

The manager at this location, Mike, is one of the most customer service oriented people I've encountered at any car shop. I took my car in to get two flat tires repaired. They were awesome. Instead of making me come out to the shop to look at my tire tread (which admittedly is getting a bit low), they took the tires off and brought them into the waiting room for me to look at, and gave me an explanation of what was happening to them and why. They offered to find some used tires and install both at a very reasonable price (my words, not theirs). I asked to see them, and again they brought them into me. I pointed out that while they looked like very good rain tires, they didn't have good tread for the snow. But before I could even finish, they guy said, "I'm sorry, I couldn't sell you these tires even if you wanted me to--now that I have them in this light, I can see that there's some cracking going on. These are going in the discard pile!" Then, when they were finished repairing both tires, they brought my car right to the door, running and everything, handed me the bill (no charge), thanked me for coming in, and sent me on my way. When I got home, I saw that they had even placed a metal valve stem cover on one of the valve stems that had a missing one. When I'm ready to buy new tires in two or three months, I'm definitely going to Discount Tires in American Fork! They understand what customer ecstasy is all about! read more
