This is top priority to me when it comes to vehicle repair and maintenance. Called Hillside on a Friday morning and Harrison answers. Really nice and friendly. He said it's first come first serve basis so i brought my car in as early as possible. They didn't try to sell me on getting new tires or breaks or anything, although i know I'll need these in the next year. They fixed the tire and sent me on my way within 15 minutes of arriving. I paid......nothing! Harrison said it was a small job happy to help. Here's the thing - even though I wasn't charged, I'll definitely be referring people to them. I already referred a family member who said they'll be going to Hillside in the next month or so for some work. I'll be sure to keep referring. Great service. Stopped in because I had a tire leaking for two days and this was the closest to my kid's school. I was in and out in 20 mins, patched and on my way. No charge for the patch. I am back! My car won't start and as noble as it sounds to ride your mountain bike to work you gotta have a car to get stuff done. It's my day off and so I call and speak with Ray. Super helpful without over committing just in case Murphy's law rears it's head. I asked if I got in my noon can they get me out today. I suggested it was the alternator as suggested by my great friend Google. He said yes. We towed the car in at 130pm. Not that he'd remember who I am even though I talked to him like I'm the only customer that called today. Totally unfazed and cool as a cucumber. I gave my keys to Ray who, like a gentleman, came out to get my keys from me. Not 30 minutes later I get a call with the diagnosis being the starter was bad. I will be talking with google later. Highly recommend! My sedan sounded like a diesel truck, went to multiple places and no one could figure out what it was. I was told it was probably the transmission and I should get a new car. In 20 min they found a loose bracket making the horrible sound. Saved me from having to get a new car! Did have to get a new CV boot and they had someone to take me home and pick me up when they were finished. Never been so happy with an auto shop! We had a large nail in our front tire so I stopped by Hillside to ask if the tire could be patched. I was immediately greeted by the owner and another friendly man who came right out to look at my tire. He said it could indeed be patched and would only take 20 minutes. Once it was completed I went to pay and the owner said it was free of charge and said he hoped I would come back for new tires in the future. I thought that was so incredibly generous a d much appreciated. I had a burnt popcorn smell in my recently purchased 2017 Toyota sienna that was hard to peg. It would come up on accelerations and every once in a while when I turned the AC on. I didn't want to take a chance on it so I did my research to find a good mechanic near me that was open on Saturdays. I found my new mechanic. I won't be using anyone else. Harrison is the Assistant Manager there and I only worked with him through the whole process. I asked him to do a full 90K service for me as well as flush the transmission oil and check the coolant. He told me everything was perfect except for the cabin and air filter. He said the smell could've come from the cabin filter which had a musty moldy smell to it. He also made me feel very comfortable with the transmission service. These transmissions are very sensitive. If you don't know what you're doing or put the wrong fluid in, you might need a new transmission. They called me 2 hours later and said it was ready to go. I went in, paid, and hopped in the car. The car smelled awesome and my mind was blown when I hit the freeway! The smoothest shifts I've ever experienced! It was so nice! I highly recommend these guys. It's really nice to move away from the quick lubes. I will be back in the future. read more

Mark just saved me $700...I went to Jiffy Lube for a flat tire repair. They said it was too worn down to fix and I'd have to replace all 4 tires because I drive an AWD car. I still had a warranty on my Goodyear's so I went to Hillside thinking they were a Goodyear owned dealership. Mark grabbed the damaged tire and had his son Brandon fix it up in less than 10 minutes, good as new. Family owned and family-like customer service! I had a leak in our tire. First I took it to another store down the road that pointed out a needle on the inside of the tire (no bigger than a safety pin). It was safely in the tread, probably a good 1.5" away from the sidewall, but they said it couldn't be patched and it had to be replaced. So I made the 1/4 mile drive to Hillside and asked them to look at the tire. Based on where I told him the leak was he said it should be no problem and they'd patch it. He took it back, looked at it and came back in a couple minutes to say that his guys were already at work on it. It took no more than 15 minutes. Patched, good to go. The manager said it was no trouble, no payment needed, just asked to come back to him when we need new tires. Whether or not I do that we'll see, but I'd happily come here in the future for tire repair. Definitely an honest and trustworthy crew. read more

These guys are awesome! I had a tire that was leaking air that was getting worse by the day. By Saturday afternoon, it was so bad I don't know what I was going to do until Monday. I called Hillside just before 5 pm and they told me to bring the truck in so they could look at it. When I got there, they were able to take it right back. They found part of a broken nail in the tire. Within 20 minutes from when I got there, they had found the nail, removed it and sealed the hole. When I asked how much I owed, they said there was no charge. I'm a big fan! Very nice guys and exceptional service. I highly recommend. read more

Wow! On 4/1/2023 10:00 am I called Hillside Tire in Draper about a problem with a tire for our Jeep. When I called almost immediately the manager Sam Pappas answered, told him my problem, he said "Bring it in and we will take care of you" AND they DID. No prior experience with this shop. I am impressed! I had been picking tire shops off of Google Maps that were convenient in Draper. Hillside was the 3rd shop I had called. First shop no one answered my call, second shop couldn't get me in until 12:30.... here is my experience with Hillside Tire Draper today: At home in my garage I had discovered a nail in a summer tire I was going to put back onto the jeep while taking snow tires off. Third call was to Hillside Tire. After talking with the manager on the phone I put the wheel with the bad tire into the back of another vehicle and left my Jeep at home.... Drove to Hillside Tire in Draper. Sam came out of the shop when he saw me at the counter, I introduced myself as the person who called about a nail in a tire..... immediately Sam got an employee on it, they pulled out a nail and patched the tire.... and they had me going home in 15 mins or less....I didn't even get to finish checking my txt msgs before they were ready for me to go. Then my day gets more complicated. Drive back home to Suncrest / Draper to change all wheels / tires on the Jeep, and one of the snow tire wheels would NOT come off.... I have rotated my tires for 40 years and this was a first for me...... other 3 changed out just fine.... I tried for over two hours to remove that one wheel. I am retired, but in good shape, and had worked in a tire shop one year while in college....have had some tough ones to remove, but this one was a no go for me....Called Sam again and told him my story... once again he told me "Bring it in, we will work you in and take care of you". Arrived, was parking, and Sam himself saw me, waved me over to a bay door and was opening the service bay door and directing me into the bay.....he said "I guarantee we will get you going" ..... immediately an employee was taking direction from Sam and going to work on my Jeep. Hillside Tire rocks..... they took the summer wheel out of the back of the jeep, managed to remove the "stuck" wheel in front, swapped wheels, and had me on my way in about 20 mins total from the moment I showed up. This is a first for me in well over 20 years. Service like it used to be. All employees were friendly and took care of me like I mattered to them. This was my first experience with this shop, did not know a soul there, and I was treated like I was a VIP returning customer.... and I will be a returning customer in the future!
