I purchased new custom wheels on my 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie in May of 2021. 18 months later the clear coat started flaking off of the wheels. It looked absolutely terrible. I called Black Rhino Wheels main company and I was told that they were no longer under warranty and they would not replace them. I saw many complaints on a Google search of many people that had this same problem. I went to Discount Tire and spoke to Martin who immediately called his distributor and ordered replacement wheels at no cost to me, even thought the warranty had expired. Martin told me that he had the same issue with multiple customers in the last few weeks and that his distributor was willing to replace the wheels for those customers also. A giant shout out to Martin for his excellent customer service and taking care of a long time customer. I wouldn't do business anywhere else. Thank you Martin and Discount Tire. Great service...up until you pay. Dropped off my Jeep with ease, but after I payed (more than I was quoted) I got in my Jeep and the radio was not getting any power. After going inside to see if they had moved anything, I was told that they did not touch anything mechanically or electrical, but both of my hood latches were left open so obviously someone was under the hood. I would like to reiterate that the service was good, and my radio is not broken (although I had to fix wiring), but the fact that they were willing to lie to cover themselves will make me look elsewhere next time. I usually have good experiences with Discount Tire. This was my first time interacting with the Boerne location. Ordered my tires over the phone and was told they would be there next day. Going on a week with getting the runaround of why they aren't there. Poor communication as I always have to call to find out what's going on. Currently thinking about canceling my order and going someone where else but I'll give it a day or two more to see if things get sorted out. Got a flat in San Antonio on Tuesday, hopped online Wednesday morning. I filled in all the blanks on the form and set up an appointment for 4:30 that afternoon. Normally in tire shops appointments are like "appointments" at a doctor's office. Pretty much meaning, "yeah... right". I was greeted before 4:30, and done with the transaction and on my way by 5:15. I really wasn't looking forward to using Discount Tires. An opinion based on no data, just how I felt. Trevor did his best to up-sell me, and was unsuccessful. Not because of a lack of skill and knowledge, but because of my wallet. At no time did I feel that it was all about the store's income or what he could talk me out of. I managed a tire shop years ago and everything he tried to convince me to do was for my own safety. I bought 2 tires on Wednesday; tomorrow I'll replace the other two. Now, thanks to Trevor Nobles and the folks slinging tires in the back, I won't go anywhere else. read more

Fantastic service at discount tire. Though local Boerne folk have recommended other tire shops around town, Discount tire is tried and true for me. Today I purchased 2 tires for my 2003 Toyota Carolla; although the specific tire I wanted was not in stock, the staff helped get me a better tire for the same price as the tire I originally wanted, this saved me about $50. Oh yeah, and they are fast! Tires were estimated being done in 45 mins, only took 20 mins. What!? Yup, they take care of their customers well. read more

Waited at the store for 2 hours, Had then begin sale me on tires. Was told they were out of stock. Had spent the $$$ But the transit was lost so i had to call in and see were the tires were every other day. All though Randall did help me and was super nice to me as well and did help me with the tires, I had a weird experience with a lady at the store, All-though i have been waiting on almost for 2 hours, All though the wait time was my main thing & communication & phone calls would have helped. I paid for a service and they did it wrong, so they corrected it but didn't deliver. These you guys were supposed to switch tires and wheels I brought and not touch my tire sensors. Not only did they touch them, but they installed double sensors on one tires that didn't even work or are compatible (why I took it there in the first place). So, after their fix, they decided to take off the sensors that aren't compatible and hand them to me, not installed in the original wheels (the ones I told them not to touch). Now, I have to either go back or pay to have them installed. Completely disappointed with the service as they just try to pump you in and out with no regard for quality. read more

4/5 stars simple because I arrived before the other (5) people in line but was served 4th. These guys are good but not perfect and I understand. My mistake was not standing in the right line....I had an appointment but was not in the "Appointments" line. I did inform the staff I was there first but still had to wait for (3) others because of my mistake. Walked in to find a 2&1/2 hour weight, but the front desk guy, (Martin) set me up with an appointment later in the day. I came back a bit early and was served nearly right on time. They changed my back 2 tires in less than 25 minutes and I was out the door on the road again. Service was well done, the people were personable and the place was clean. I went to your boerne location this morning for a tire rotation. I arrived before the store opened and waited in line with several other customers. I was greeted by Gus and he told me I would be done by 0905.  At 0910 I asked how much longer, he stated that I would be next and proceeded to give me an excuse of people with appointments is what caused me to be skipped.  I in fact know this to be untrue because I was speaking with a customer that arrived 30 minutes after me without an appointment and was finished before me. I did notice that Gus retrieved my keys from behind his station and taken to the repair bay after I told him I had to leave shortly. That was when my vehicle was taken to the bay at 0930.   I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years and have gotten all my tires from your stores on all 4 of my vehicles, and never felt the total lack of customer service given at a discount tire location. There doesn't seem to be any management at this location, several customers were upset and bewildered at the lack of concern and chaotic atmosphere at this location. They treated me like they would never see me again so what was the rush, excuses about appointments and lackadaisical attitude. Well they succeeded I will not ever go to that store again. They were so untrained that I had to reset my maintenance light indicator myself. Makes me wonder if I should go to Firestone and have them do a safety check just to be sure. read more

Discount Tire in Boerne is what customer service is all about. I went yesterday (December 2018) and Miles (Tire Tech) helped me out. Tires rotated, balanced, and a nail removed and patched. All of this was done for minimum cost or effort on my part. I have purchased tires in the past from Sam's Club. NEVER AGAIN will I go anywhere else besides Discount Tire for all of my rolling needs! I usually go to the dealership for my car needs, however, this time I figured I would try discount tire at the recommendation of my husband and the great deals that discount tires offer. Unfortunately, the day after my $1066.00 tires were put on and supposedly balanced, I discovered that they were not balanced at all. The cost was great, but the service, not so much. I wound up going to a different discount tire shop that properly balanced my tires. I would have truly appreciated it if I were provided the true ballpark of how long I was estimated to wait. Lastly, I would have appreciated if my tires were properly balanced. To leave and discover on Monday evening that my tires were off balance was not a good feeling and is not good customer service overall. I would NOT recommend this location. read more

I was here a few weeks ago after one of my tires was pierced by a chunk of metal. I made my appointment online after they had closed and got one first thing the next morning. I was a bit nervous because this was my first time using my tire warranty, and I thought it would be a huge hassle. Juan was great, though, and very familiar with the warranty process. He took care of everything with the warranty company and got it all approved. I was there about an hour, but a lot of that time was spent getting approval. Overall, I was very happy and will definitely go back when I need new tires. read more

I've used Discount Tire for years because of their great service and fair prices and this location blows all the other ones I've used out of the water! Miles and Georgie helped me both over the phone during a rush and in the store when i came in for service. They were both extremely friendly and polite and understanding of my needs. Service was quick (I definitely suggest making an appointment online or over the phone or it would have been a long wait). I let them know beforehand i was on a lunch break but felt unsafe and they did everything they could to get me back to work on time. A total joke we lost 1 hour just waiting for nothing After 48 mins of being waiting for 1 tire we ask the rep if it was ready and he answer no we don't even start with your vehicle So we ask for a refund and there is where this so call manager Michael thuente show up and start acting sarcastic and un respectful making fun of us after 10 mins he process the refund saying that their estimate time for 1 tire was 1 hour and 30 minutes, he even say that they have people waiting for 1 tire almost 2 hours The place has at most at that time 7 customers is not like there was 20 customers before us or anything Like if it was something to be proud For the general managers of discount tire you have to talk with this guy MICHAEL THUENTE URGENT ! Every time I go to Discount Tire their costumer service is unreal. They are so respectful, they open the door for you and they take the time to really take care of you.
