This store is amazing! I bought wheels and tires a few years ago and on my own stupidity I put aluminum caps on brass valve stems and they fused together. I have taken a couple flat tires here to have them repaired over the last year or so. Both times they were friendly and repaired the tires for free! (Even though I hadn't bought them there). So I just bought 4 new tires from them. I got a good deal, they had a wide range of tires and prices to choose from. I made an appointment and they quickly installed them. Made an appointment for new tires. Showed up 15 minutes early only for them to tell me the tires weren't even there. Bear in mind that I received 3 reminders via text to be on time. So I rescheduled for several days later and this time the tires are here but it's 90 minutes after my appointment time and the car still isn't even in the bay and no idea when it will be. Manager says they're busy today. Not sure why they bother with appointments. This is a poorly run business! I strongly suggest you go somewhere else if you value your time. read more

I've been buying tires from Discount Tire for years. When I lived near Costa Mesa, CA I bought from that store now I'm living close to Vandalia, Ohio and I might add that I'm ecstatic that they have a Discount Tire Center near me! The techs like Rob and Ryan, and the rest of the service crew never disappoint! Whether I stop by for air in my tires or a patch to repair a nail puncture they always get me in and out quick w a smile and are extremely knowledgeable as well. The tires were reasonably priced. The install was quick. But the attention to detail ruined the experience for me. When you put the front hub caps on the rear and the rear on the front on a four wheel drive truck you should easily catch that. But it wasn't. The little things matter. read more

I had a slow leak in my front passenger tire.I called around my area to see how much I would get charged to fix with a patch. Most places I called was what I expected to be charged so I was ready to set up an appointment. I haven't tried discount tire yet so I gave them a call. I asked how much I would be charged. He told me today was my lucky day that I could name my price! I told him I could be right there. So they worked me in to their schedule. They told me that I didn't need a patch but I needed a valve stem which they replaced. When I looked at the invoice and saw there was no charge For this service.I was surprised and thankful for their service and kindness to me!!! I know that they couldn't do this for everyone but I'm glad they did for me. I highly recommend this place to who knows maybe it could be your lucky day too. I came in today to fix a flat tire. While inspecting my tires, the gentleman told me I would need to have my front two tires replaced as well. I told him all I could afford to do right now was the one with the hole in it, but that I would be back after the first of the year to buy them. I have to admit, with it being close to Christmas, money is tight and get a bit choked up when I saw the price for the one tire. But I figured I'd just move some stuff around and make it work like always. Roughly 45 min to an hour later another gentleman came and got me to tell me my car was ready. When we got out to the car, I promised him I would be back in a few weeks to have the front two tires replaced. He told me not to worry about that, because it was the holidays they went ahead and put three new tires on my car (the two in front, and the one with the whole... the fourth tire was fairly new and in good shape). I immediately broke down and gave that gentleman a hug. I have never experienced anything like this, and quite frankly am still in shock. Maybe the flat tire was meant to be, I don't know. What I do know, is you have some truly amazing people working at your store that exemplify the true meaning of Christmas. I fully intend to pay it forward here in the very near future. read more

Went here for tire repair. A nail punctured my tire and it was plugged in just 15 minutes. I also found out they do it for free! Dave greeted me from the desk and he's professional and courteous. The waiting area is clean and drinks are available to customers. I also found it convenient to set my appointment online. read more

I love coming here for my tire needs! The customer service is excellent. The entire staff is efficient and quick. Will was the associate who helped me and was very knowledgeable. I didn't feel that they were trying to take advantage of me, trying to up sell everything as other companies have done. Listening to other customer interaction with the associates they were professional from start to finish. Great prices and some services are at no cost. GO HERE FOR ANY TIRE PROBLEMS! I went to a dealer nearby with my car because there was a nail in my tire. I was told it couldn't be patched! I called discount tires and they said bring it in to have a look. A few minutes later it was patched and done for free! Awesome place with great customer service!!!!! read more

Not recommended. Their employees are extremely friendly when you are there to purchase tires. If you are there to have them rotated, as promised in the paperwork, they will say they will not, as you should always have new tires on the front. They told us that is against Ohio law for them to put the front tires on the back. I wil assume that it was simply ignorance and not that they would willfully lie about the ORC to sell more tires. Stay away from this place if you are going to purchase tires. They will not honor any of their marketing promises. read more

Beware the bait and switch! I went here after finding a "good deal" on tires on their site. However, once I got in the shop, they didn't have a single set of those tires in my budget, so I ended up having to go with an $800 set by the time I got out of there. This didn't even include alignment or anything else. I spent several hundred dollars less at a competitor for my wife's van, and that included brakes, alignment, and an oil change! Service was fast and good, but way pricier than my taste for something you can get somewhere else for much cheaper. read more

Never had a bad experience with this company and have used them for many years. However, this store didn't meet my usual expectations. While traveling out of state I ruined a run flat tire. Had to wait a day and a half to get the tire and they didn't honor their offer to bring the car to me. I was across the street at a hotel (2 days). Had to take a cab to get the car. Shop old and antiquated, didn't even put my car on a lift. Jacked up both sides like an old fashioned filling station. Staff very friendly at first but not so much afterwards, especially, when I complained about them not picking me up like they promised. Would not recommend this store. read more
