I ended up getting a flat tire on a Saturday and had to have it replaced immediately and three other shops said it wouldn't be until Monday and this guy says get over here and it will get done today. I work close to this place and always noticed they had a lot of cars in the parking lot and bays, so this place must be good. I brought my car here back in September for a battery issue and they were very thorough and checked everything for what was causing it to drain. It turns out the battery I had just bought from Walmart was defective. They put a new battery in and the problem was solved, I've never had the problem since. I'll NEVER buy a battery from Walmart again! Let that be a lesson to all. This place sells enough batteries that they are fresh and not sitting around for months or a year and go bad. I brought my car back from an oil change and tire rotation recently. I normally bring it to the Ford dealer for this service and I've been very satisfied with them. The only issue there is they are a pain to get an appointment with and you have to leave your car there for hours. I decided to bring it back to Dayton Tire for this service due to the convenience. They really took care of me both times and I feel they are honest and trustworthy. I'll definitely be bringing my car back for the next service it needs. I will recommend this place to all of my family and friends! Too many places rip you off and straight up lie to you and charge outrageous prices. It's the exact opposite with this place and I'm really glad I found an auto center that is honest and I don't feel taken for a ride. Great job guys! read more

The only reason I went to Dayton Tire Sales was because of the five star yelp review. Happy to keep that streak going. Called for a tire repair job. $34 total to remove tire, pull out the nail, patch and repair, and finally put the tire back on. I am so impressed! I went in earlier this week because one of my tires was not holding air. I suggested that I thought I might be due for a new set of tires anyway. Kyle helped me and he was AWESOME. He came back in and told me that, actually, my tires looked to be in pretty great shape. He could have TOTALLY taken that opportunity to sell me 4 new tires, but was instead 100% honest about what I needed. When he found out what was wrong with the bad tire, he presented me with 4 different options, all priced out, and there was absolutely ZERO pressure to with any particular option. I contacted Kyle at Dayton Tires Sales when something sounded fishy with another local body shop. Kyle arranged a tow from the body shop to his store and swapped out my custom tires and rims for the factory ones after an accident. He then allowed my vehicle to remain in their lot until the insurance tow truck could pick it up for no additional charge. This shop embodies customer service. I've been coming to Dayton Tire for over 20 years. There are few companies that I recommend as many times experiences have their ups and downs. This place always comes through with service and price. I have taken 7-8 different cars through them and they solved every problem, every time, with a great attitude. Tony, Wes, Vince and the rest of the team run a service oriented problem solving shop. Have been going to Dayton Tire at this location for as long as they've been on S. Dixie. They've convinced me to not do expensive repair work when it wasn't necessary. They've done work for us at no charge six months after the fact when I finally got around to calling about a persistent low tire pressure sensor. Replaced wiper blades on the spot when we're on our way out of town. Fixed our vehicles and sold us tires. All in all, they treat us fairly, are friendly and always say thank you. read more

The service was FANTASTIC! We popped a RunFlat tire on our way to visit the University of Dayton, and home is almost 3 hours away, so we needed it fixed ASAP. The tire we needed was an unusual size, and not in stock. Upon hearing of our predicament, Vince went above and beyond to locate a tire elsewhere and have it delivered. Took my car to Dayton Tire and on both occasions they failed to tighten lug nuts on my vehicle. The second time was the worst as the tire was practically bent inwards. When I picked up my car, technician said he noticed noise from wheel when he brought the car out onto the parking lot for pick up. A good shop will have looked into it if they missed something but these guys just didn't care. When I picked up car, I immediately noticed the noise from the suspension. I couldn't drive 30mph with the way it was sounding. I got my car towed home to look at the issue later. Once home I looked at the lug nuts and they were practically loose. Its like putting in a lug nut with your hands and not tightening it up with a wrench. I called the shop and all manager could say was he has no idea why that will happen and I could bring it in again. I told him it wasn't necessary since i resolved issue by tightening the nuts. I will never take my car here again. I'm still wondering how they got 4-5 stars . read more

I've taken my car here a couple of times. Oil changes are done well but other work is questionable. I had a radiator replaced and within a few days it was leaking - took it back - apparently the technician forgot to clamp the hose tightly. It worked well again for another few days and started leaking again - at that point took it to another shop and haven't had a problem sense. Many times I asked about a workplace discount, I heard from other coworkers they gave them to employees of our business, every time I asked they said they didn't give a discount for being employed at said company. One day my car died on the way home from work, I took it to Dayton Tire Sales - and they went over the list of things that were wrong with it. It was going to cost over $500 - I didn't have that kind of money and told them so - at that point in time they offered me - said company discount. I couldn't believe it - all the times I asked them if they would give me the XXXX discount - and they denied me NOW they are going to offer me one. I don't think so - took my car elsewhere and found a much better and fair mechanic. read more
