I have had reasonably good luck with Tire Discounters over the years. I recently moved and agreed to help out my kid and get new tires on a 2012 Yaris. I used the website to make an appointment for 4 tires and alignment and see the range of tires that were in stock at the location. When I arrived on a Saturday afternoon, I was not greeted by the two people in the lobby. I said I had an appointment. It was clear the person who was the one helping didn't bother to look at the appointment and asked what I needed and then how many tires, roadside warranty, etc. I asked how much the warranty was in addition to the tires. He responded he wouldn't know until the paperwork printed. I said I wanted a specific tire that I saw in the website. He glibly said it didn't work that way, this is the only tire that was available today and that the car would not be aligned because that tech had gone home for the day - though this appointment specifically reserved that service along with the tires. The sales person's response? Go elsewhere or make an appointment to come back. The total for the incomplete job - $900 for a 14 year old Toyota Yaris. With safety and the need for transportation coupled with not having to take off work, I am reluctantly getting this done. I asked about the alignment and should I drive, and he looked me in the eye and said, "we don't recommend it." This sales rep was so condescending and rude on top of making a huge ass money grab commission. The road hazard insurance has been nice for myself and my daughters, their father died in 2021. This experience has been horrible. The disrespect and the dishonesty about what tires were available etc. was blatant. Also, the Sugarcreek OH location is in a very busy area, and I was the only customer. I will definitely think through being tied to Tire Discounter again, and recommend everyone steer clear of the Sugarcreek OH location. read more

Had to get new tires. I went there and got 4 new tires with a free alignment. They did a great job. I also found out I needed breaks. So I went ahead and got them done as well. I loved that I got an estimate online for the tires and they matched it at the store I chose to go to. The value for what you are purchasing is worth it. I got great tires. I chose Pirelli all season tires. Loved that I can also get free tire rotation now. I definitely recommend them. read more

I'm happy with the value and quick service time for my tires but Josh lied about the depth of my brake pads. He claimed they're at 2 and 3mm but when comparing them to replacement pads they're barely a few millimeters shy of the factory depth. read more

Outstanding service from this location (Feedwire). My tire was patched and I was on my way in just a little over an hour. Top notch service. Josh was awesome!! Amazing customer service. He was so attentive he even over heard me talking to my child about a sport he is playing and wished him luck when we picked our car back up. BEWARE, verify that the services you have paid for have actually been completed at this location. I paid for replacement brakes and the next day I was notified that were not installed. No apologies just excuses from this store until I called the corporate office in Cincinnati. The manager even had the nerve to whine about giving me a refund because they had opened the items they forgot to install. The management and crew Is consistently going beyond the call of duty for my family's work and personal vehicles. The latest trips for brakes and tires on a GLE 450 Mercedes. The brakes were significantly lower price than the dealership! Great job TD! Due to Covid, the two brands that carry all season tires for the OEM size for my glecoupe were not available locally so Tire Discounter management ordered Nitto NT420v all seasons from the manufacturer and Installed , balanced, aligned them beyond expectations at a very fair price. Terrible service. Had a 10am appointment for a oil change and tire rotation and didn't get out till almost 12:30. There were literally 3-4 employees standing at the counter all morning. I think they were holding the counter up. I've been coming to Tire Discounters for over 2 decades and I will never come back. Also, if they tell you that you need something make sure they prove that you indeed need it. I think they work on commission. read more

Scotty and the team are awesome. Didn't have an appt for a Saturday. Take it or leave it some days are worse than others; today was my lucky day. Got a quote in about 30 minutes. They did brakes, front rotors, serviced back brakes, brake flush and fluid plus tie rods. Done in just under 3 hours. Making my teens car safe again; it rides great. These guys have worked on four of my vehicles. Lets face it-this stuffs not cheap, but I have not been disappointed. Work with them they'll work with you. Went here for a rotation on tires I purchased here. They refused to do the rotation claiming the tires were completely shot (less than half life on them!), and had obviously never been rotated. I explained that I have the rotated at the dealer every 5000 miles along with my other service. I was essentially called a liar and sent on my way with a quote for new tires. I had an appointment with my dealer several days later, and got copies of my service records and told them what I had been told at this location. They were shocked, and said the tires looked fine per their inspections. They urged me to go to another TD location. Today, I drove to Washington Courthouse TD location. There, the associates informed me my tires were in fine shape for the mileage and had clearly been maintained. Liars and Crooks at this location, beware! read more

I made an appointment on 8/23/21 for 2 PM. I arrived on time for my appointment & at the same time a walk-in customer arrived. My car did not get pulled back into a bay until 2:30 PM, & the walk-in that came in with me, got pulled in immediately. I know that their bill exceeded $700, so they had some extensive work done. I was there to have 2 tires replaced. Close to the same time that my car finally got pulled into the bay, which was AFTER I questioned the precedence of appointments over walk-ins, a gentlemen walks in requesting an oil change. He was advised by Jim that he was looking at a wait time of 2 to 2.5 hrs. The customer takes a seat. Now, I don't want to pull the race card, but I was the only person of color in the store at this time on this day. The walk-ins that came in with me AND the guy that needed the oil change were taken care of & sent on their way. Though I had an appointment for two tires, arrived on time, & was quoted an estimated wait time of under an hour, & out of the people that came in between 2 PM & 3 PM, I was the last person to leave. My car wasn't finished until 3:30 PM. Josh has been pretty nice in the past & was nice, though a little less so, this time. He told me as I was checking out that he was sorry & that he "did everything in his power" to get me out of there quickly. This is not true because he took walk-ins before my appointment. When I made the appointment over the phone that morning, he assured me I would be able to get in at my appointed time, but didn't & still took walk-ins & finished their services before me. I believe that Jim told the oil change guy that time to appease me, but then when he was called before me, Jim states loudly ", We went ahead & squeezed you in since you were just getting an oil change & not getting any tire work done." Regardless of what work he was getting done, that customer didn't have an appointment & I did. i truly feel as though there was preferential treatment for other patrons that day & my time was not deemed as valuable as theirs, though my money was just as green. read more

Went in for an Alignment. They got me right in and out quickly. For 99 I got unlimited alignments for a year. Was suprised to see a filtered comment for the store. It is not positive but not major bad. This did not affect my decision to use this location. read more

On Tuesday 11/16/2021 I dropped off the right rear wheel and tire from my 2021 Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE. The gentleman that was helping me was the regional manager. I brought the tire in because I had encountered a flat tire. The tire had a clear hole from a screw/nail that had inserted and came back out. Was obvious from the shape of the head of the nail/screw that had punctured the tire. The regional manager was happy to help me out. Before I left the tire with him we looked at the tire together and I showed him the hole needing repair as well as a small piece of metal that was in the tread of the tire entering at a steep angle. I told him the metal was currently not leaking but should be inspected to see if it should just be repaired as well. His response was no problem we are going to spray down the tire and check them both. And to my surprise he provided me with a bill of $46.53 which seemed strange to me considering Discount Tire does flat repairs for free. But I was already there and figured I would pay for convenience. I received a call that night that it was done and this morning 11/17/2021 I picked up the tire. A few hours later I pull the tire out of my truck to reinstall the tire on the car. To my surprise the tire was flat. After a quick inspection I realized the KNOWN LEAK had not been repaired, rather the other obstruction had been repaired. I drove straight back to the shop for assistance. The nice gentleman at the front counter made sure to get the tire in the shop and repaired right away. I asked if there was any assistance in a refund for the $46.53 I had spent considering I was back to repair the tire. The response was no one had the authorization to provide a refund but to be assured they will take care of this repair for free. After declaring my frustrations the employee provided me with a future flat repair. Pretty disappointing, but none the less I was hoping to be back on my way. Once the tire was repaired the tech rolled it out to me. I picked the tire up onto my tailgate to inspect the wheel for any scratches/damages considering the fast repair. And my intuition was correct. The barrel of my wheel was scratched in multiple places. I have photos. It appears that the wheel was clamped from the inside of the barrel on the mounting machine which provided scratches. As well as a sharp tool being used to peel off the previous lead weights and that resulted in scratches in multiple locations. I avoided confronting the sales counter as I assumed with the previous response that there would be no help in the store. I am reaching out to hopefully contact the regional manager that originally assisted me to provide a solution to my damaged wheel. Being charged almost $50 for a repair and not repairing it was one thing, damaging a wheel from a car that has 3600 miles on it is another thing. Especially when it looks like an OE replacement will cost $900. I look forward to hearing from Tire Discounters on a solution. Thank you. read more

Went in without an appointment expecting to just place an order for my somewhat unusual tire size. I had 2 tires replaced recently, after having the other 2 replaced by another Tire Discounters location a year ago. They replaced the tires and overall i'm satisfied with the tires, though i felt the service could have been better. I called before going to see if they had availability & could have my car ready same day. The guy on the phone said yes, if i was there within 15 min. It was a little over an hour away from closing and when arriving this older lady was arguing with the cashier being unrealistic and i felt bad for the staff. I heard him telling her that they were very busy and backed up & could not have her car done by the end of the day so I didn't bother asking him about having mine done & had to end up leaving it over night. My 2 front tires (that weren't replaced) needed a little air & they didn't bother to fill them. Also, maybe my fault because I should have specifically requested for it, though i thought with them being tire experts they would notice that i hadn't had a tire rotation in about a year & when replacing the old tires would automatically do a rotation, though didn't. read more

Once I got there they told me how bad all of my tires were and that I really needed to get them all replaced (I already knew they were bad. I just didn't know HOW bad). I called and scheduled an appointment to get the tires rotated and balanced which is supposedly a lifetime benefit of buying tires here. My wife came out stressed after they tried to hustle her into things we don't need and THEY DID NOT ROTATE OR BALANCE THE TIRES! I did not get my "lifetime product service" and it stressed my wife out with the hustle. Will not go here ever again. read more
