Kinda disappointed with this location. One of my tires picked up a large piece of glass in a parking lot. So I figured I should quickly head over to America's tire and have it worked onwhile I go and take care of business. So I get here and the rep says that it will be an hour till they can get to it. No problem I already expected that. So I ask if they can pull off the tire and put on the spare for me so I can do what I need to do and come back for the tire later. Again he said that it would take an hour to even get someone to do that. WTH! I replied with "so I will have to put on the spare myself in the parking lot." The rep just said "sorry". I'm not one to argue, that's what this review is for, so I strolled my baby out the door (oh did I mentioned that I had my 13 month old with me, ya...) Got to the car and pulled out the spare, keep in mind that this is El Centro in August, it's rounding 100 deg outside. I have the contents of my trunk out in the parking lot asphalt, baby in his stroller with the shade up of course, and me on my knees hand cranking a scissor Jack. All this and 25 feet away are rapid pump floor jacks and pneumatic tools. I get done putting on the spare and reload the contents back in the trunk. Took me ten minutes tops... So disappointing that I had to do this. I thought America's tire was an above and beyond business. Well at least that's how they portray themself in commercials. Anyway, I'm sure it was just a one time thing. I'm still a loyal customer of just not a fan of this location. I originally gave them 2 stars but they redeemed themselves with good service when I came back to pick up my tire later that day. read more

I had a problem with a stubborn tire light on the dash of my Nissan for a couple of weeks that I could not get to go away. I took the car to the Nissan dealership in El Centro to see if they could help, but I seeing as I only had a short time before going to work they were not able to fit me in that day and suggested I drive down the street to America's Tire. When I walked in the door the staff was helpful and got the appointment setup started. When I asked how long it would be they told me an hour and I told them I would have to come back another day because I had to be at work before then. Instead of just setting up another appointment, they offered to have a quick look and reset the sensors so I could see if it came back. It turned out to be a little more stubborn than they had hoped, but through some troubleshoooting, they were able to get the light to go out. I asked how much I owed and was told to not worry about it and have a good day! I didn't walk in expecting anything for free, but was met with great customer service. I will make sure to come back to America's Tire whenever I have tire needs in the future. read more

I had blown tire in my recent trip to California near el Centro. We change to the spare and decided to head to the nearest Walmart to buy a new one. At Walmart they had a 3 hour wait time. So I Google my nearest discount tire and pep boys to compare prices. I found online what tires I wanted because at that moment I had made the decision to replace all four of them. Discount tires had the best deals. I did call ahead and there wait times we're around 2 hrs or more it was a busy Saturday and 4th of July weekend. We were in a hurry because I wanted to continue our trip as soon as possible. Also It was a hot 108 F day. My kids were tired and we have a special needs in a wheelchair. As soon as they see us all the family get to the lobby because we didn't had else to go but just wait on the waiting area they realized we really needed help. Everyone was so courteous and helpful. In less than and hour my car was ready to go. I can't remember everyone's name but I do remember a young gentleman who was the most helpful and efficient I believe his name was Ruben. Thank you so much for being a helpful friendly and courteous with all my family, you truly save our vacation trip. read more

Absolutely the best tire service available. I buy tires for all of my vehicle at America's/Discount Tire. This location has always given me excellent service. The staff is always extremely helpful and courteous. They will price match any other local competitors so why not come here? They have the best selection of tires and knowledgeable employees. The Imperial Valley isn't known for great roads, so definitely spend the extra money and buy the Certificate for Repair, Refund or Replacement. In the last two years living in the Imperial Valley, I've lost count of the many tires I have needed replacing due to the pot holes the size of moon craters. I have definitely gotten my money back many times over. They even offer complimentary cold bottled water while you wait. The only reason for not getting a perfect 5 star rating is sometimes the wait is a little too long and I'm very stingy when giving out 5 stars. read more

Adrian, Jimmy and the manager, Sam, went above and beyond to help us out when my family was broke down on New Years weekend 2017. A serious blowout threatened to leave us stranded far from home, but we called ATS and Adrian set aside a set of tires for us. My husband arrived just before closing and the team quickly changed out the damaged tires. They even went out of their way to help him line up repairs for our truck that were needed due to the blowout, and made sure we got back on the road. Awesome customer service. We blew out a tire about 45 minutes from here in an offroad site out in the desert. Brought the tire in and asked about replacing all 4 rims and tires and they did not have them in stock. But they did call the store down the street from our house in SD, get the new tires and rims ordered, and gave us two loaner tires to get us back to SD. Ok, Our car runs over some very flat debris with many small nails in it on the Highway leading into westmoreland. We are lucky to make it to Americas Tire Co. while 1st of 3 tires that we know of is slowly getting Flat! The Guy there(Wish I remembered His name) start off by letting Us know the wait is up to 2 and a half hours!WTH! Never heard of that before! We dal with it and it gets done way sooner than that but-They say 1st tire has 3 holes in it and needs to be replaced. Ok-They do it! What They don't do is tell Us there are 2 more tires losing air slowly and let Us go on Our way through the desert and farther on to areas where there are no more A.T.Company. We must pay someone else to fix 2nd tire! We are now thinking We are finally on to Our destination and 3rd tire is losing air!(WTF!) We are so mad by now-They(Americas Tire Company should of caught all this 1st instead of pitching Us to buy 1-3 more tires ! This Story Continues to a few days later to another ATCo in Moreno Valley(Which was another Nightmare too!(By the way-The MV store attendants said this Store fastened the Lug nuts on Improperly causing to Lug nut to brake off while sat that next store!( I really use to like these stores but it seems They are making Us waste to much extra time and money and this is not right! I use to like this place. I still like Americas Tires Co but the customer service on Imperial Avenue by Costco has gone down significantly. I don't know if the guys there got retrained to have a sarcastic type of humor with your customers, but for sure this past year I have experience a very sarcastic/trying to be funny/ condescending Customer Service. About a year ago I had experience a little bit of too much friendliness from one of the guys which caught me off guard. I appreciate great PROFESSIONAL customer service but not what I was given. A few months ago I had to get new tires and ended up with the same guy that helped me almost a year ago and for some reason he felt even more comfortable with me and gave me the sarcastic/condescending customer service just even more. I felt that I had to give him attitude in order for him to act like an employee and give me the respect, customer service and help me out so that i can get out of there. I had to go again recently which I hesitated do to the fact that I did not want to deal with that guy that has made me feel uncomfortable. This time I got someone else which was fine until of course did the same thing and playfully joked about something but was rude at the same time. Me as a customer I did not appreciate it. Not only that he laughed out loud and his other co worker went along with it. So do to the fact that the employees there have lost their professional customer service I will not be returning to this Americas Tires. read more

Hands down, this is the best service anywhere! I have never walked out of a business so blown away and impressed by their professionalism, knowledge and work ethic.....twice! I have gone to the store located next to the mall in El Centro, CA. I had a flat tire, so I went to America's tire because it was recommended. Not only did they fix it for free, the employee also checked the tire pressure in all my tires and approximately how many more miles before I needed new tires (The last company I had gone to when I got my oil changed had stated that I needed new tires.) I appreciated the employee's honesty and was impressed that he was not pushing for a sale. I got another flat tire approximately a month later so I went back to see if I would be that impressed again. Again, not only did they fix my flat for free, they balanced my tires and checked the pressure in all of them. The technician who brought me my keys explained everything they did (above and beyond what I went there for) and also informed me the sensor light on my car would go off in about 15 min (an extra piece of information that is very helpful). Wow.....floored two times in a row! I rarely can find a business or employees that have such exemplary work ethic and professionalism by each employee I have come in contact with. Amazing and fast costumer service ! On our way home from a weekend trip in San Diego we realized we had a nail in our trucks tire. We ended up throwing on the spare & decided to deal with it another day. 3 days later I ended up calling around 10am to schedule an appointment for 11am ( same day ) to patch it up. Got there about 10 min before our appointment time and out the door by 11:30. Everyone was so polite and friendly even though they were packed.
