Well, today Saturday morning I checked in at 9:30am and upsettingly did not get my truck seen until after the 3rd time of going to ask how much longer it would be...at 1:46pm. I did not leave here until 2:33pm. I will never ever go here on a Saturday and esp, not without an online appointment. Moving forward, I'll take off work and Chet the 1st or last appointment of the day. Honestly, this was sooo draining & I lost a work shift just sitting here on such a lovely & eventful day. I've recently learned that not all Discount Tire locations are created equally. I've trusted Discount Tire for years for all of my tire needs, but this was my first experience with the Fayetteville location. I came in to purchase four new tires--a significant investment. On the drive home, my ride felt much rougher than before the new tires were installed, and I also noticed my graphic center tire cap was missing. I returned the next day, and the staff admitted the tires had not been properly balanced--completely unacceptable for a new install. They claim they re-balanced them with a "new technology" but could not locate my missing cap, advising me to purchase a replacement so they could reimburse me. When it arrived, I had to make a third trip just to process the refund. The staff themselves were polite and professional, but the quality of the work was poor. My car has continued to drive poorly ever since. I ultimately took it to my dealership, where the tires were properly balanced and I also received an alignment. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this location and will continue driving further out to my preferred Discount Tire shop, where I've never had these issues. read more

Usually the service is excellent. But on November 17, 2025, the service was horrible. I called at 8am when the store opened. Talked to Ryan who stated the tires that I requested are not in stock but he will order them and I could come in at 3pm to have them installed. I arrived at 2:30 and saw a truck arrive with multiple tires and assumed my tires were part of the delivery but at 2:50pm I talked to Justin who confirmed no tires for me were present. (Someone forget to order them) Justin made a phone call at 2:55 to the supplier to deliver my tires and stated the supplier should arrive at 3:30 give or take for traffic. At 5pm I decided I could no longer wait as the wait was too long the delivery guy arrived with the tires. I paid for my tires at 5:03 and Ryan informed me that it would take an hour to install so I waited. My car was not retrievef until 5:49 and completed until 6:27. To make matters worse I asked for a receipt and was informed I would receive an email and CURRENTLY I do not have a receipt. Also before I drove off, I checked my tire psi which was not set to the proper psi. My manufacturer setting is 36/front and 38 rear. You would think at a tire shop this would be second nature. Overall the guys were nice, but to see people there before you and AFTER you arrived receive their car and are gone is a hard pill to swallow when I have been EXTREMELY PATIENT. Because they were busy is not an excuse which I'm sure will be used when this is communicated to CORPORATE. Not my problem guys. I got an estimate for the tires but I just couldn't wait and hour and a half that day because I'd just had knee surgery and I'd used all the energy I had that day. I spoke to Artman and he understood and gave me an appointment. On the day of my appointment I wasn't feeling so good so I was rescheduled. I'm finally here now getting my tires. Every person I encountered has been so nice, friendly, and customer service oriented. I have patronized all most every major tire shop on Hwy 85 in Fayetteville, Georgia, over the past 30 years and this (by far) was my best experience. Came after booking an appointment online to get my tire checked out because it was leaking air. Within 10 min Daniel informed me the air was coming out from where the dealership patched it before. Everything was smooth from telling me which tire would be good for my SUV and the price wasn't too outlandish it was just more than I expected to spend today lol. I've frequented the PTC location for years now, and was happy to see an additional location within the area. As typical for Discount Tire, they are consistently superior in quality and service. The add-on tire warranty is definitely worth the $20ish per tire investment. The only drag is wait-time if you don't have an appointment - so make an appointment! read more
