When I walked in the place was really clean At the counter the man was real through with his questions. He generated a number of options, next he turned his screen around so I could see his offerings. We discussed pros and cons. Overall price for my four new tires fit my budget similar to the first time. Although I had to reschedule my first appointment because they had to order my tires, once I rolled up, they were ready to install the tires. I've been a customer of this tire shop a few times and have never had any major issues--until now. On my most recent visit, we bought four new tires. As soon as the work was finished and I got back into my car, I immediately noticed something wrong: the steering wheel was sticky and looked like it had melted. It felt like tar or some other substance had been left on it. I had just brought my car in with no issues like that at all, and I hadn't even left the parking lot yet. I went right back inside and showed the person at the counter. The manager looked at it but claimed he didn't think it happened there. Still, they took pictures and said they would send everything to their insurance company. Unfortunately, the process from there was frustrating. It took three weeks just to get a response--after I made multiple calls that went unanswered. Finally, we received an email saying they "could not have caused the damage." This experience has been incredibly disappointing. I understand accidents happen, but to not take responsibility when I never even left the premises is just unacceptable. What makes it worse is the lack of communication and how long it took to get any kind of answer. I hate to leave a bad review for a business I've used before, but this situation was handled very poorly. My third, four tire set at Greenville Discount Tire. Dustin and his crew did an amazing job and were very helpful and knowledgable. There was some speculation as to whether my order would actually fit and I had gone up several sizes due to a lift. They took the time to mount a tire, check for contact on the upper control arms, crash bars, and fender wells. They also let me view it, and we all agreed it looked very nice. While the rest was being completed they also helped me look into some wheels in the future. Having been a mechanic in the past, these folks are nothing but professional and personable. Honestly some of the friendliest employees I have ever seen. I came by because one of my tires was visibly low and I couldn't find a working air pump at any station in town. It was incredible that they not only offer free air but have someone to do it for you. He even checked my car for the proper air limit and as suspected let me know that a new tire was needed. The employees inside were also so friendly, informative, and helpful! I loved that you are provided with a tracker so you know the estimate of how long you'll wait and when they are working on your car. I took my car in the store and got 4 new tires. The staff was kind and helpful. However, when I left my car was shaking as I was driving and slowing down. I got home and asked my husband to drive it and he did. He came back and said that something wasn't right because before the new tires, the car did not shake. Upon further checking, he thought that the rotors were damaged. He took the car back and literally all the person did was put it on a lift and take it down. The person then told my husband that he thought the tires were torqued fine and there was nothing wrong. BUT there is something wrong. NOW I have to spend more money to get the rotors fixed. It is extremely rare that I write a review but I decided to make an exception. I made an appointment to have 4 tires installed. They were quick about getting the car into a bay but it sat there for 45 minutes before it was touched. Meanwhile 3 drive-up customers were immediately serviced. Having worked in a garage I decided to watch the work being performed through the observation window. When my wheels were removed from the car it became a circus. They put the first one on a tire machine, removed the tire, and then wailed on the wheel with a 2 pound hammer apparently to remove the pressure sensor. Then ignored it for quite some time. Finished it, then came back and beat on a different one and so on. When they were done they informed me that one of my wheels was bent because it wouldn't balance properly. I wonder why! I know there was nothing wrong with the wheels prior because I am the only person that drives the car and haven't hit any potholes with it. Also, at my last track day there weren't any vibrations up to 130 mph. I knew it would be my word against theirs so I just left, never to return. They did properly torque the lug nuts but didn't set any of the air pressures correctly. read more

Tried to get a slow leak fixed on a tire turned in the vehicle at 1155 and all I heard the whole time was about needing to replace tire get a 45 dollar rotation ect. Then they run into a lock bolt issue which was not their fault but the guy put me back in rotation so after 2:30 minutes still not fixed I left and will be going somewhere else. Thanks for nothing Joe. You probably could have got two tires out of me if 1 you offered the cheap tires after I told you the car was barely used. 2 got the job done in a timely manner. I will not use this company ever again for lack of service and high pressure sales tactics. Oh yeah and hope to god you don't lose your key for lock bolts they want to charge you 5$ per tire. selling bad tires to customers knowing they didn't meet the warranty requirements then telling customers you'll give them a discount on a new set? we had a 55,000 mile warranty and only drove 17,000 miles in 3 years. tires started to unravel and they want us to buy another new set at discount. the manager admitted they had a lot of customers who had the same problem and sent the tires back to the manufacturer. said alot of customers tires weren't meeting anywhere near their warranty requirements and they had to bring them back. my thing is, then why didn't you let your customers know so they could bring the tires back. you just let ppl continue to drive on bad tires knowing they weren't safe? you could've warned your customers and you darn sure should'nt be charging them anything to get a new set. how about refund them so they can go to a more reputable and honorable tire place and get a new set there. read more
