I found a nail in my tire the afternoon before we were heading out of town. Because of the damage, I needed a new tire and not just a plug. Knowing I needed my car available, Bradley assured me they would have a tire for me the next morning. I showed up at 7:30 when they opened and not only was my tire there and ready for me, they finished replacing my tire in 30 minutes. I brought my 2014 E150 in to diagnose a problem with a spark plug misfiring and the check engine light was on. Was told that there was moisture in the area, so they dried it off and put it back together. Was only charged for the diagnosis $120. Ran great after that. Three months later the problem was back. Made an appointment and this time I asked to let me know what kind of moisture is getting in to the spark plug, then maybe I'll know how to fix it. They said I won't be charged for another diagnosis because I was in there only 3 months ago and the problem is back. This time I got a diagnosis and the repair was going to be $2,000. I told them now it's not a good time for me to be spending $2,000. so can you just put the vehicle back together and I will call you when I'm ready to have the repair done. They said sure no problem. But they charged me for another diagnosis and the problem is still there and the check engine light is still on. I'll be getting a second opinion. read more

Labor hours here are $120 per hour Got a second opinion from Colony who charges $90 per labor hour. Huge difference for jobs that take many hours They replaced my tires which I brought in my own. Only needed 2 since I had 2 done a month back. The cost was fair on that about $70 total for them to mount and balance. Had an appointment at 1pm, did not get my car back for 3 hours. Couldn't align my car because a tie rod issue. Was quoted $350 for that and alignment to be done. Called Colony Tire down the street and received a quote for $100 less. The interaction with Colony vs Black felt more honest. I am not affiliated with either shop in either way, nor am I even from the area. This is my unbiased experience with 2 shops for y'all to discern on your own. Do you due diligence. read more

This is not a reputable establishment I would avoid it at all cost. I had my vehicle safety inspection conducted here. and they charged me an extra $10 for a tint window in the inspection. I was told I failed for window tinting. I had a 2021 jeep gladiator with factory installed windows. I looked up on line the regulation and found the following. Window Tinting ​​Vehicles with applications of after‐factory window tinting must be checked, at an additional charge of $10 during a North Carolina safety inspection to ensure they meet specifications set by the state in G.S. 20-127). I called back and informed the clerk Tyler and he told me I could have my windows replaced and they would redo the inspection. Needless to say I had my vehicle inspected at another reputable inspection facility. read more

Took a trip to New Bern and heard a rubbing noise under car. I found Black's at 5 PM. They took the car for a test drive, put it up on a rack and diagnosed the problem. They checked it and couldn't find a problem, so they put air and didn't charge me (or try to convince me to buy tires I didn't need). It was super nice. I was in a pickle, my tire had a small metal pole sticking out, I had already exhausted my spare tire due to the recent hole in my other tire, yes not very good luck these last two weeks, needless to say I called at 530pm yesterday ( they close at 530) and they were able to order my tires, have them in their shop at 830 the next day and fit me in to their busy schedule first thing. They explained everything, gave me options, and even recommended certain things for my safety. I was very pleased with their customer device and recommend this place to anyone read more
