They greet me when I arrive, the wait time is accurate when I set my appointment on their app, and they over deliver with service. By this I mean they let me know how my tires are wearing, tread remaining, and they even explain what PSI they set depending on the expected hot/cold weather. THE MANAGER IS RUDE & OF NO HELP!!!! Currently have a claim open with Bridgestone & Discount Tire. I stopped at discount after noticing my tire was put on improperly. Clearly shows "inside" but the wheel is facing outwards! Now I'm experiencing "irregular" wear on these tires. The warranty is 65k miles for the tires. I've driven 27k miles with tires installed incorrectly. I asked to have the tires rotated & manager tried to tell me my Bridgestone run flat tires do NOT need to be rotated bc they are staggered. The manager told me I needed to buy new ones. Why??? He said tires installed improperly would not cause irregular wear. He also told me since my wheels were staggered I did NOT need to rotate my tires. After speaking with Bridgestone that is NOT TRUE!!!! They absolutely recommend it! My boyfriend's mom set an appointment to get me new tires. We get there and the CSR Kelly looks at my wheels and says 1 stud from each wheel is threadbare and we need to get them replaced. I look at my wheels and can clearly see the thread but I take my car to the mechanic anyway. The mechanic says my studs are fine. I got back to discount tire and they tell us they upgraded us for the trouble. Ok great. Then the tech comes in and says I need a stud replaced but it will be fine for now it's not immediate. They bring me my car and ask me if I wanna keep my old lock nuts, which I said yes and that I'd told Kelly specifically I wanted to keep them. He puts them in my cupholder and we go to cotton patch to eat. I come out and notice they snapped off one of my studs. I look at my lock nuts and find the one with the stud stuck in it. Seeing as how it's stuck in a new lock nut and not one of the old ones they either over tightened it or cross threaded it until it snapped. I take it over there and tell them and Kelly tells me I'm so sorry yada yada. He gives me a voucher to give to the mechanic shop to invoice them for the repair and sends me on my way. Here is what really pisses me off. The tech thought I was going to throw my old locknuts away and hid the one with the broken stud in it with my old ones and never said anything about. I bought 4 new tires and after I bought the tires I was told the were and needs to be replaced. I knew it was a scam but what choice did I have? Put 4 tires in my Toyota Corrola? I able to put the rims in my car? 4 days later I took the rims to a competitor, not only was I told that there was nothing wrong with the rims, they actually bought the rims from me. I from time to time I go to get the air pressure of the tires checked but it usually takes anywhere from 5-10 minutes for someone to come and help me but today I gave up after 15 minutes. It was not like they were busy I could see 2 guys sitting down talking. I like to think that they don't like my car and not something else. Had two tires with nails and screws they were not repairable. They out and let me see the inside damage to the sidewalk. Bought 4 tires after east was at 3/32 and 4/32 on remaining tires. Matthew assisted me when I walked in that Friday for my appointment I booked online. I was disappointed to hear that a stud was broken, but I understand it happens. However, I was happy that Discount Tire was going to cover the repair. What takes the cake though in my opinion of the great customer service is when I contacted the repair shop and couldn't get an appointment until Monday. Matthew helped me get in for a same day appointment at their Rockwall partner repair shop and covered the hub replacement as no studs were in stock for my vehicle. read more

I didn't have a problem with that since I was a walk in (and there's a Starbucks next door). But they were done with it in less than 15 minutes! I did have an appointment so wait time was ridiculous; but that is not even the issue I had with this visit. I was just in for a rotate and balance as well as a check on a tire. When they were finished the tech brought my keys to me and said everything was good to go. I left and immediately came back to the shop when I noticed a lug bolt in my cup holder! I got out and checked and noticed my front driver side was missing one. When I got back to the shop I told them they missed putting a lug in; tech responded back that it was cross threaded and snapped off but it came in like that? I responded that it did not come in like that he went and got the manager Shelby. His response was to blame the customer as well and said it came in like that. I told him that is highly unlikely I have been getting my tires done there for the past two years he said that it must of been from where I had it serviced last. This is ridiculous I just had a state inspection surely they would have noticed as well with the temperatures changing adding air to the tires I would like to think I would have noticed as well since the missing lug was right above the air valve. Leaving frustrated; I went and got it repaired spending several hundreds to get a new hub since it was unable to be rethreaded. I will definitely not be coming back that was a costly mistake. read more

Very disappointed would be an understatement with my most recent visit to Discount Tire. I had new tires put on and in the process of removing my wheels the techs were unable to remove my bolts for the cap to my wheels. The last technicians that rotated my tires cross threaded the bolts on 3 wheels making it unable to remove them. There was no fixing it. They were ruined and I needed 3 new wheels. I was told because it had been awhile since I had been in and because I missed a rotation that I would be responsible. Missing a rotation does not cause the bolts to become cross threaded. Not sure how this logic makes any sense. Several hundred dollars to replace wheels because a tech cross threaded bolts on my wheels. Also, there is no way to know and hold accountable who did it because there are multiple technicians working on the vehicle at the same time with no documentation of who worked on it. I have used Discount for several years. Bought multiple sets of wheels and tires for my trucks and I have had a really good experience and been satisfied with them as a whole up until now. read more

WATCH THESE CROOKS!!! Not sure who actually owns that branch but he better check on who is running that business before he looses the rest of his clientele. THIS RATING is as a result of horrible service and lack of confidence by their shop staff doing state vehicle inspections--which is required by the state of Texas. I went to get my F350 Diesel inspected at this place so I can get it registered. I kinda been putting it off because I've been so busy--I'm not only a commuter but my job requires extensive travel outta state. I don't have time to be dealing with employees like this. I didn't have my current Texas insurance form with me on Friday -- but my expired one was on my phone as a screen shot. I asked the guy working in the shop--if they did inspections on Saturdays and he said, "yes from 8:30 to noon." I told him I would see him on Saturday ---I would bring the current hard copy with me. The first thing they say when I show up on Saturday morning is, "we don't do inspections on Saturday" I point right to the shop Employees standing at the counter. You TOLD ME YESTERDAY THAT YOU DO THEM on Saturday-- its been 24 hours and now you say you do not do them? The employees say, "well OK we will get to ye'all as soon as we can" We wait about 10 minutes then the employee says, " I don't know what's going on my computer is doing that 'little Spinney thing'--it might be down" and says he can't do it--at this point in time I've lost total patient with these people--It was basically, it I'll go find somebody else!! read more

I had been a customer of this Discount Tires for several years, But I noticed the tires wear quickly tires should last longer than a year that is the first fact, second, even with an appointment you can go shopping and come back and they still not finished, third and the most dangerous fact is breaking my rim not telling me and not owning up to their mistake, shifting the blame on the customer, being rude and disrespectful, unprofessional, about the whole ordeal placing a person in danger if that rim breaks or would broke through my family, friends and lawyers are well aware of the danger they have placed me in, I will never go to this or any other discount tires again nor my friends and family and considering legal action against them at this point. Everyone that knows of my vehicle can give a written affidavit about the condition of my wheels I even had photo proof the damage was done after the tires were installed and the tires look old and worn after two months I will NEVER go back there again I will never recommend anyone to them a bad bad experience read more

Excellent customer service. Was greeted at the curb on arrival. (who does that anymore). Since I did not have an appointment, was advised about 1 1/2 hour wait. While waiting in my car, they came to the car advising that they were ready. Instead, I was in an out in 1 1/2 hours. Would highly recommend. (even with a Braum's cup). read more

Discount Tire always has my back (tires) lol. Ever since I bought my Honda from 2010, I always come here for anything tires. When temperatures fluctuate, my tires always lose air so I'm there quite a lot for their air. Yes, I do know how to put my air in my tires but I rather not. They are always so nice and accommodating! This store I paid for a set of tires which was a little bigger than original because that was all that was available. I then looked online to see if they had my original brand which they did so I went inside to change my mind. Mark, who was so nice throughout the whole transaction, canceled my order to order a new set of tires which they didn't have on hand. Also, the brand had a rebate until end of the month which he said he'll give me even if the tires don't arrive until next month. I really appreciated his help and patience. All of the different location stores have the same attitude which makes me come back again and again. read more

Been using them for years. The only issue is the employee turn around. By the time you get a new set of tires, it's a whole new set of employees, so it's a gamble every time. I've been to numerous discount tires across the country. All of them are great but Greenvilles is one of the best. They occasionally push the tire warranties a bit hard, but they're an ok deal if you end up needing more than one tire replaced. That seems like about a 50/50 shot over the lifetime of a tire. read more

When I asked the guy after an hour they haven't even pulled my truck in he basically told me the appointment didn't mean anything and appeared not to really care. Got new Michelin tires for my 2015 GMC 2500 Denali truck and everything went really well with the install. After a couple of days, I noticed a hub cap was missing from the passenger side. I called the store back to see if they had forgotten to put it on. No luck there. So, even though I couldn't prove it, I assumed the cap was not securely put back on and asked them if they would replace it. Since I couldn't prove it was their fault, I was pleasantly surprised that the assistant manager said he would cover it. I even decided at that point I was going to give the store a 5 star rating for taking care of me. So, another gentlemen took my information to order it and I waited. No contact, so I went back. They hadn't ordered it. So, the assistant manager personally covers it this time and gets it ordered. I come back in about a week and they have it. When I go in to pick it up, a big tall white guy (I assume the manager but I don't know) asks me how the cap came off? I said I don't know, it was just off a couple of days after install. He starts talking about how there are screws holding the cap on so it couldn't have just came off. When he pulls out the cap, it has snaps holding it on (not screws) and decides to give it to me. The assistant manager had already made the call on the whole thing and now a guy I've never seen was implying the cap was stolen after install (he says that). In fairness, I can't say with 100% certainty that the cap was not stolen. However, the chance of my 2 year old truck getting one cap stolen from my driveway within 2 days of a tire install is pretty slim. My truck is inside a gate guarded secure area at work, so almost zero chance of it getting stolen there. Since I had no real proof that the store was responsible, I pretty much expected them to not cover the cap replacement. But they did and that was wonderful. If they didn't pay for it, I would have replaced the cap myself and never returned to that store. Kudo's to the store and the assistant manager for understanding the situation. But then that guy at the end undid some of the goodness. Overall, I'm still happy with the situation and the store. read more

The sales staff was extremely helpful and polite, but their installers need improvement. First off they moved my seat all the way back and changed the settings on my drivers seat to the point I couldn't drive my own vehicle. Second, they didn't remove the lubricating soap used to mount the tires, so I was left with a dried white mess on my rims and tires. Third, they left circumferential scratches in the clear coat on the face of all four rims. Thankfully the scratches are shallow enough that I can still remove them with rubbing compound. I've had great experiences with Discount Tire locations in central Texas, so i don't know what the deal was with these guys. read more

If I could give this Discount 100 stars, I would!!! I worked with Skip who was so patient with me! He took great care in making sure I was getting the right tires for my needs. I drive a Mercedes SLK and the tires on it are staggered and don't get the best mileage. Skip made sure to explain all of the different tire types my car could have and explained the pro's and con's of each! After he helped me decide on a tire, he special ordered them right away and they were in store much faster than I anticipated!! When I went to have them put on, Robert helped me. He was really helpful and knowledgeable!! My husband asked him some questions about his TPM monitoring system and he was able to answer all of his questions without a beat! We will most definitely be bringing his Truck up to see Skip and Robert when it needs servicing! read more

Normally you have to wait for service but when they don't have all the tires you want and put on 3 and send you to another location and you have to wait again then it's horrible. Got 3 tires in My Plesant and they sen me to Greenville for the other tire. Service manager said it would be just a few minutes. 35 minutes later and the truck is still in the parking lot in touched. DT really needs to work on this. The reason for the tires are two of the Cooper All Terrain tires that DT sold me failed. read more

Low score is for no customer service from Mark only. I am pleased with service of all other employees at this location. I have been to this store many times over the years since it opened. I have never had an issue with anyone until here lately. I brought my car here a couple of months ago for a new set of tires. My sales person was Mark, who tried to sell me the wrong size tires and insisted I did not know what I was talking about even though I had the manual with me. He was quite rude and condescending. I brushed it off to he might have been having a bad day. This weekend, I brought my mother's vehicle in for two new tires. I had the good fortune of getting a much nicer sales man. While waiting, I witnessed Mark being quite rude and condescending to all women who came in. It was more so he was angry with everyone for interrupting his day, and all customers were just too ignorant. Mark was also the sales person that gave me my keys at the end of the service provided. Not one time did he thank me for my business. He held onto my keys while he explained the receipt very slowly to make sure I understood. Then, he set the keys on the counter and just walked off. I sincerely hope his supervisors and/ or corporate will guide him to providing more customer service, especially to women since there were more female customers than men on the days I visited the location.
