I checked the reviews and they were good. I needed my tire check and to find out it was pretty bad. So I replaced that one but they gave me a really good deal for two tires so that's what I did. A gentleman came out greeted me in the parking lot guided me to where I needed to go and the service tax Sebastian the one that took care of me was especially polite and very quick. I was in and out within 15 minutes I'd give him a 10 star if I could.. The whole staff was nice. I definitely recommend coming here. read more

First time visit for a tire patch due to nail (new housing additions are riddled with roofing nails...) Respectful technician, prompt greeting, efficient service. One of the few tire shops is Lavon. They are quick and they don't charge if it's something small. Most places will charge you something for nothing and this place is NOT the case. I met the manager at Wing Stop and told him my tire was going flat. I was there an hour later and I keep coming back for new tires and tire rotations. read more

I was only there for a tire patch but was nervous since I usually don't handle car stuff without my boyfriend--it was an emergency. I need to give Lavon Tire Service mad props for their help today. We had this bronco transported from AL and the driver couldn't get it off the trailer. The tire guys saw what was happening and all came out to help and safely got it off the trailer. If it wasn't for them I'm not sure what condition the bronco would be in. My brother told me of Lavon Tire service and how great they were so, I made the long drive out there twice now since I collect cars, motor cycles & boats, which all have trailers. I had used a Discount tire store for years but noticed their prices have gone through the roof and the service has seriously declined. Their service is prompt, very reasonably priced and there is very little wait time, if at all. Their shop is clean & shiny and one can tell the guys that work there love their job. Go here first! Thank God for these guys! I barely hobbled in on an ugly flat, and they helped me right away. They gave me options to just replace the one tire, or all of them. Excellent price for four new, but even better price for four used. Just $40 a piece, and excellent tread. I took four used tires. So grateful to have them, and the staff are super nice. Greedy and rude. Owner op parked one of our trailer in his spot and company is told to pay $350 for two days parking

in 2/2022 I went in and got new tires. At some point between then and now my steering wheel started shaking when I hit 75mph. I went in today to ask them to rotate and balance my tires. I explained myself and was told that I actually needed new tires. I balked, explaining that these tires were about a year and a half old, with not many miles, and I didn't drive much so I was confused as to how I needed brand new tires and, if I did, I needed credit based on the warranty. Mike, the owner said the car could be out of alignment, and etc a few other things and that could have caused it and I said I was happy to have him check all that to see if it was a fact but that I didnt drive the car much and my steering wheel was flush and I didnt think it was the alignment. Mike then told me that tire manufacturers no longer warranty and refund based on stated mileage and how did I know how many miles and when I bought them. All typical statements. I told him I had my receipt at home. when I got home I called him and said the car had 109k miles when I got new tires and now it has 223k miles. 14k miles and I need new tires. Mike, the owner said "how do you know what the mileage was? We never write down mileage when we do work" (be aware people!) I told him that his uncle write the mileage down and I also had an oil change from my mechanic that same month that shows the same mileage. He then went n the explain that tire manufacturers no longer offered a trade in n the warranty so he couldn't' turn the tires in under warranty. I found that sus. He told me to bring the receipts in. I called discount tire, gave them the info straight ff my tires and they told me the tires were warrantied for 45k miles and Lavon tire could absolutely turn them in under warranty. So Lavon tire doesn't write down mileage and they aren't honest about warranties. i brought my receipts back to show Mike, the owner and THEN he says "you should have had these rotated at least 3 times since you got the tires, where is your proof of that?" My reply was I get them rotated with oil changes every 10k miles and you didnt ask me to bring proof, you're just springing this n me now. Mike offered to give me a deal on some new tires but at this point I lost all faith in his business integrity. It seems he thought he had an easy mark to spend some money on new tires. Maybe because im female. I asked him to simply balance and rotate the tires and I would be on my way. My mechanic used to refer people to their shop but doesnt feel comfortable doing that any more because they dont write down the mileage. Discount Tire will be getting my business moving forward. You try to stay away from the chain and patronize the little guy and this is what you get. read more

When I drove into here I expected the worst. I was in need and had little options. I was greeted with fluent English speaking knowledgeable technicians. He gave me a couple options and one I was not expecting. I ended up getting 2 used tires that were in amazing shape. I spent more time picking a lineup for my kids baseball team than I did waiting for both tires to be water tested, computer balanced and spun and mounted. He even gave me a warranty. I'm extremely satisfied and I would never consider ever going back to a "big shop" again. The customer service is UN matched and prices are better than any competitor I've been to. read more

Owner of a Subaru that needed a alignment and tires bad! Had the tires done first here. When I drove off the lot I had a car that was best described as Squirrley. Shooting left and right as I Accelerated. I just figured it was due to the alignment that was needed. I booked a four wheel professional alignment. When I drove the car out of the garage after the alignment it didn't pull to the right like it was before when going down the road. But it was still Squirrley and shooting all over the place anytime I accelerate. Not the best feeling while on the freeway and you push down on the gas and you feel your car shift left and right at 70 miles an hour. Thinking that the alignment was not done correctly I took it back for a recheck. They took their time and made sure that my alignment was spot on and showed me the computer printout of the results. The technician then pointed out that my two front tires were not matching. The tires that I purchased from the shop are used tires. I'm fine with having mismatch tires but never on the front. The technician suggested I go back and have the tires rotated so the front tires were of the same make and model. When I drove around the shop where I got my alignment it was still shooting all over the place. So I brought my car back into this tire shop and explain my situation and what the technician suggested that I do to fix the problem. I asked them to put the matching tires upfront. They did this for me and then wanted to charge me a rotation fee. I clarified that I was coming in for them to fix a problem that they created and was not expecting to pay a fee. He went out had someone come back then I explain my situation and he proceeded to challenge the idea that the tires should be matching. As he was walking out he made a snide remark to his coworker in which I pointed out that I was going to bring you some more work but after being treated like this I would take my business elsewhere. He then challenge me saying that all the years of his experience it does not matter if the tires upfront match. I indicated that I worked on a fleet of vehicles and I am very aware of the fact that ithey must match. With a reluctant tone in this voice and an attitude he removed his rotation fee. I drove off the lot accelerated hard to head back home. Not to my surprise! my car now drives straight, true, nice and tight. A grandpa in soiled diapers would know that you don't put mismatched tires on the front of your all wheel drive car. The reliability of this shop is of my opinion tainted with ignorance. read more

This place is great! My go to place for the last couple of months and I didn't think their customer service could get any better but listen to this! I was at work all day a 12 hours shift and I had a flat tire my car was at home and mike (the owner) followed my mom back to my house put a spare on my car so my mom was able to follow him back up to the shop and gave me a great deal on 2 used tires which look brand new! Bought four sets of new tires in 10 months. one tire in each set was bad and was told by Mike the owner that he couldn't stand behind the bad tires that his mark up was not enough to give a warranty. It's best to buy name brand tires from someone and maybe pay a little more. I don't no if tire companies sales some places seconds or rejects but i got 4 bad tires out of 16. I even bought 4 tires to replace the defected tires and he charged me full price to mount and balance them. I like Mike but that is not the way to do business. read more

I had a bad tire a few years ago and I asked my co workers where to get a tire and they referred me here, the customer service was amazing, I got my tire at a great price and that was the beginning!! Since then, I have been back not only with my car, but my sons, and I send everyone I know there and I now drive my dads truck and last Friday I got there at 530 and asked them for all new tires knowing they closed at 6 . I would have understood if they said come back but they didnt!!! They all went right to work on dads truck they were smiling the more they smiled I smiled they knew how happy I was!! They know me and they know what my dads truck means to me. I could never go anywhere else, not only because of the price but them!! They are so nice everyone of them. BEWARE!!!! I called Lavon Tire Service on Monday Feb. 11th to get a set of new tires. I spoke to the owner, Mike Fording, who told me that he could order the tires and have them delivered the following morning. I told him that would be great and I asked him what time they closed, so I could make sure I would have the new tires installed before I went on a road trip. The following day, I called Mike to make sure the tires arrived before I left early from my job. Mike told me that the tires were there so I left work early and headed to Lavon from Garland. When I arrived, no one could find the tires. I spoke to Mike and he said that the tires didn't come in. He said that he looked at the wrong tires when I had called him, but I had already hung up before he realized the tires were not my tires. TOTALLY INCOMPETENT!!! Could he not have just called me back when he realized he was wrong, no he had me drive all the way out there wasting my time and gas, a simple phone call would have been fine and I wouldn't have lost time at my job. Since my tires were not there, I have to assume that they never got ordered. Another employee told me that they had 3 tire deliveries that day, but mine were not there. I left there and drove to Discount Tire, where I should have gone in the first place. I spent an extra $100.00 for the tires but it was well worth the money not having to deal with a business that is SUB-PAR. Cheaper is not always better. read more
