Horrible experience. Slow incompetent employees. First person there took 1.5 ! Just changed a tire to a different wheel, no vehicle. Said tire had a hole but didn't fix it I had to plug it when i got home, then didn't replace valve stem but charged me for one, so it was flat next day leaking valve stem. LAZY! So I had to replace valve stem. now it's good. AVOID THIS PLACE ! You.ve been warned ! Update: Now the wheel weights fell off 2nd day ! I saw the lazy dude try several times to hammer on the wheel weight on,( which is how you should do it), then he was so incompetent he just gave up and used stick on weights, but DIDN"T clean the wheel first and they just fell off ! read more

Today was a very lucky day. Unfortunately, I found a bolt in my tire at 4:00 pm on a Sunday. I thought there was no way I would find someone who could fix a tire this late let alone on a Sunday. I had a 12 PM appointment for a tire change... nothing complicated or time consuming. I've had this work done before at Discount Tire and was in & out in 20 minutes. I arrived early to check in. By 12:30, my ride picked me up, and when I called at 1:30 for an update, I was told it would be another 45 minutes. Unacceptable, so I mentioned I was just 5 minutes away. When I arrived, I saw my vehicle being pulled into a bay and two men quickly removing my tires, clearly trying to create the illusion that work had already begun. In the end, after over two hours past my appointment time, my vehicle was finally ready. The lack of customer service was unacceptable--no apologies, just excuses for terrible service. read more

I want to recommend this place, because everyone was kind, but they never got my tires balanced correctly, despite I went back two times and the second time they said I needed struts or whatever which I bought. Still that new tire is jumping around so I'll have to take it to Royse City Tire. They will fix it correctly. read more

Protect your wallet and get a second opinion before agreeing to any service here. I brought my car in the other day to get a wheel stud replaced. When I called the staff was nice, the quote was fair, and they could get me in that day. However, once my car was up in the air that all changed. They immediately ran into a "problem" that caused the price to increase dramatically. I initially agreed but it wasn't 10 minutes later when the price increased yet again to a total of $415.98. This is outrageous to replace something as simple as a wheel stud, so I immediately asked for my car back and took it to a different shop. The other shop fixed the exact issue for $173.58 without any sudden price changes or surprise fees. I will not be back to NTB and strongly encourage other's to be cautious before trusting them with any repairs. read more

NTB of Rockwall was amazing from start to finish on helping repair my Tesla Model Y tire from nail damage. When I called them they were quick to answer and let me know their honest thoughts on being able to repair the tire. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. Costco could not repair my tire due to it being an acoustic tire but NTB said they have repaired main acoustic tires. They got me checked in quickly and helped fill my tire up with air to get it safely off the flat bed tow truck. They ensured it was properly handled and gave me an honest time estimate on how long it would take to repair. They were quick and repaired it in no time and I was back on the road again. They couldn't patch the sidewall, but drove the next day 2 hours the next day to their warehouse to get the tires I needed. Thus, we were able to travel to see family for Thanksgiving! I had an appointment at 10am. Dropped my vehicle off to get alignment done. Went to Bass Pro to kill time. I come back an hour later no text no call for any updates and they had literally just started working on my vehicle. 40 mins later they said they were done and I drive out and my steering wheel is not aligned straight. After they took it on test drive they "fixed" the problem and said I was good. It wasn't fixed I just didn't want to deal with this shop. I'm pretty mechanically inclined and I can't imagine what these guys to do people that don't know any better. Anyways $103 and 3 hours later at least my wheels got aligned. read more

Do not buy tires here!!! If your car goes a tad out of alignment they will void the tires warranty! The quality of their staff is at the lowest and the value is simply not there. I spent well over 1k for a set of tires and when 2 of them started to show wire, they told me it was out of alignment which voided my warranty and the road hazard warranty I purchased. I have never had such a horrible tire purchase experience. I have always had good service and quality with discount tire and that is exactly where I will go back to. I was treated with complete disregard as a customer. First and last set of tires I will purchase with NTB. read more

I've been frequenting this location for years simply because I bought tires from them and tire rotations are free but this is the last time. Despite making an appointment every time it always takes 2 - 3 hours to get an oil change and tire rotation. And today marks the second time I called in and made an appointment for a state inspection only to be told upon my arrival that no one is here who can do an inpsection, they don't come in for a couple of hours...yet they made the appointment for me. Update: today's appointment was for 8:30am, it is 9:42am now and my car hasn't moved from the parking lot. To add insult to injury they just called me on my cell phone while I sat in their lobby to tell me that my appointment request had just now popped up on their system. They have offered NOTHING to make any of this right and have not even offered a simple, "We're sorry for the inconvenience." read more

NTB allows you to make an appointment online for a state inspection for times they don't have inspectors available. I showed up today for an appointment. This is the only time I am able to have my inspection done and I find out they don't have an inspector available. I have given this place great reviews and even recommended it in the past. NTB on Ralph Hall has consistent great customer service. Friendly, transparent about wait times, come out on cold days to add air to my tires when the pressure sensors are on. I get my oil changed here because tire rotation is included. read more

I needed an alignment and it took them 3 hours. Wonder why it took that long? They cracked my windshield. I noticed it when I drove off, they did not say anything. I didn't return knowing they would deny. Ended up having to replace the whole windshield cause the crack spread completely across a couple day later. read more

I've been here a couple of times, and every single time the communication is very poor. I had an appointment scheduled very far in advance, and when I got there, I ended up waiting two hours for them to just leave my car in the parking lot. They let me reschedule for the next day, so I got my tires rotated, and my oil changed, paid for it, then come home to find out that my tires were never even rotated when they said they were. On top of that they did not text me or call me that my car was ready and when I went to go pick it up, they said that they had been waiting on me for a long time, and that they were closed, but there was no communication between this business and I. Everyone is super nice here but they are not efficient and not reliable. read more

I desperately understand tires and picked NTB because I thought I would get great service. After driving my car home and around the block a few times this is the psi on my tires. When my husband called NTB yesterday they blamed it on the car's computer. We spent $700 on tires and installation and that's your explanation? Consistently, they are reliable and fair. when we've had problems with tires (premature wear, excessive road noise) they've replaced the tires and treated us fairly. If I could give less than one star I would. I had appt. For 8 am. When I went in I told them I needed front brake pads. I had already had a brake check at the dealership the week before. I told them this, they still wasted time checking my back brakes. Then I was told by Eric they would have to have the pads delivered, it would take about 30 minutes. Around an hour and a half later I see the delivery guy pull up. I'm looking through the window as he hands the pads to a mechanic. The mechanic walks to my vehicle looks, shakes his head and takes the pads back to the delivery guy. A few minutes later I asked Eric what's going on. He says the mechanic is getting started right now. When they see me looking they lower a truck to block my view. 30 minutes later I walk outside to see. No one has touched my vehicle. Eric finally admitted they had delivered the wrong pads, but the right ones were being delivered and the guy was right down the street. 10 minutes later I told Eric to put the old pads on, I'll go place else. left there at 11:30. Basically Eric lied. If he had just been honest I probably would have waited it out. If he lies about something as simple as a wrong delivery, why would I trust him with any car repair. read more

I used NTB in Rockwall today. I got an oil change, tires balanced and air pressure checked. i also got a fuel treatment and wipers. it was supposed to be bout 1 1/2 hrs but took longer due to short staffing. Unfortunately I lost my temper and was pretty mad. Without my knowledge they gave me all services free to tune of 200.00 . I realized when I looked at receipt. They went above and beyond. the actual servicing of my truck was fine. the question/problem is the appointment scheduling. what is the point of it at all? i scheduled an appt 2 days in advance for 11am. i showed up at 1045 got checked in. at 1130 i asked someone when my truck was going to be serviced. no specific time was given only "we had some things take longer back there". anyway, 1145 my truck was taken back for servicing. maybe this is just me, but you shouldn't offer appointments for specific times if it doesn't mean anything. read more

I showed them the web site and asked why they quoted a different price. The representative said he couldn't explain it. I went to discount tire who quoted the same price advertised on their website, which also happened to be a couple dollars lower than NTB. I don't plan to ever return to NTB. read more
