But this time I stopped in without an appointment, expecting a long wait, but Doniven took care of me right away. I explained I had just hit a curb and was worried about a puncture in my tire, he was professional and knowledgeable and really took his time inspecting my tires and clearly explained to me all of my options. Doniven helped me choose the best pricing options for my budget, and had my payment & keys within 10 minutes, all while calmly managing a busy lobby alongside his team!   What impressed me most was how quickly everything was handled--I was completely done in a little over an hour. Throughout the process, the back team kept me updated on the status of my vehicle, which I really appreciated. Great service. I got some new Toyo AT3s put on after market wheels and they look phenomenal. They didn't push too hard on upselling extras wich i appreciate and do a good job giving updates during the maintenance. The number they quoted over the phone was spot on. I also appreciate them asking whether or not I wanted the stock equipment. I had maintenance done at a TOYOTA dealership and they just straight up took all the parts that came off without asking and pretended they couldn't find them. Plenty of seating and even dedicated work space. Outlets available for charging phones if needed. We used DT for many years for all of our family vehicles (MANY). We received GREAT service & found them to be HIGHLY trustworthy & customer oriented. They seemed to know that good customer service = repeat business. I will not go into detail here about all of the problems that we've experienced in recent years, but they have REPEATEDLY proven themselves to be untrustworthy & focused only on making $. We have been promised credits that were inexplicably absent from our account when we returned. We were told we needed tires when a 2nd opinion showed that we had a lot of mileage left in the tires. We were told that an expensive tire HAD to be replaced because it was too old to repair & could not explain why they sold us an outdated tire. We were told that a tire that had a screw/nail in it HAD to be replaced when it didn't. (The nail/screw was clearly in the "green area" of the display tire.) This has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had at an auto shop. I came in with a road hazard warranty for a balance and nail in my tire, only to be told they didn't have the replacement tire in stock and l'd have to wait. When I returned for a balance on my rear tires, the negligence of the technicians caused major damage to my vehicle. They broke a wheel stud into my brake caliper, which led to thousands of dollars in damages ruining my rear hub, brake rotor, brake caliper, and even damaging my parking brake. To make matters worse, one of their supervisors, West, refused to take accountability. He claimed the damage was already there before they touched my car, which is simply not true. I'm active duty military and this car is my only transportation to and from work. Instead of offering a real solution, West's suggestion was that I tow my car home at my own expense. It's clear they allow untrained, inexperienced workers basically high school kids to perform critical repairs on vehicles. I later found out I'm not the only one; another customer had almost the exact same issue at this same shop just weeks prior. I will be reporting this to HR and strongly recommend avoiding this location if you care about your car, your safety, and your money. Went through with there insurance and the store location claimed that this was pre existing damages looking to get a lawyer and get this handled appropriately highly recommended no one goes to this location due to negligence in there staff members work. read more

This was the best tire experience I've ever had in 30+ years! I had a screw in a tire in a serviceable spot but the tread was too worn, so it wasn't safe to patch. These awesome guys gave me a few different options for 2 or 4 new tires. I wasn't ready so I waited until the Black Friday specials. Add that to the 5% veteran discount and my price for 4 new tires installed, a set of new lug nuts (don't ask!), and the lie comprehensive certificate program was less than what I paid for 4 tires + install 3 years ago! What inflation?! Seriously, the crew here, especially Drew, are great and handled my ignorance about all things tires and my deadline with patience and respect. Set up an appointment at 1:30 PM with Mr. Blake a day before and was checked in by the courteous Mr. Z on time as my car had a nail sticking out of my rear tire. Luckily it was in the middle and can still be patched. Whew! The majestic mechanic DJ was able to show me that one of the studs was cross-threaded by the last tire rotation from the auto shop before DT and will break off once removed in order to patch up the tire and will still be driveable and be safe on the road and can be fixed later as long as there are not more than 2 studs on the road as I was told, which was very helpful and good to know as this was the 1st time I have had this issue with many years on the road. I am very grateful for the staff at Discount Tire in Baymeadows for taking care of our vehicle and will definitely come back here for their superior service and BTW the tire repair was free too! read more

Discount Tire associates are awesome. Konner checked my tire and found a small screw, besides fixing my car's tire it would need tire rotation and balancing. Konner clearly compromised to complete the repairs but waiting time would be nearly 3 hours, no problem for me since I need to get the repairs resolved. They did a great job repairing my tire. Drew approached me and apologized for the long wait, I was only charged $43 for the tire rotation & balancing, phenomenal price. I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but it would be unfair to the local community if I didn't share my amazing experience. I had a screw in my tire, made an appointment and headed in. The screw was on the side and could be patched, but I opted to have tire replaced, since it was due soon, anyways (and I had a coupon!) The ENTIRE staff is always attentive, courteous and service oriented. I especially like their texting system where they give you status updates so you can walk to get lunch (Empanadas!) or shop next door (Lowe's or BJ's) while your vehicle is being serviced. I had a blow out in April, and though I had made an appointment with another business to replace my tire, as far as I knew, they did not even look at my rim to see if it was OK to use. Someone said I should go to Discount Tire. I did, and they checked the rim for me and said it was OK. Then, I had another blowout. I went back to Discount Tire, and not only did they replace the blown tire but also another because the steel belting was showing, and it should not be. They not only got me back on the road quickly, but they even put my "donut" in a garbage bag so that it would not soil other stuff in the back of my car. THAT is customer service. The company as a whole has great policy that makes them stand out above the rest anyway Add in the fact that theses guys take the time to understand if you're at a car repair/ tire shop you're probably not having the best day! They don't bs you, if you have a flat due to an object and they can repair, the will. If they can't they work with you on getting the best tire for your needs. If you get there before they close, they will not leave until the last car is finished. Not a fan of this place. Will try somewhere else next time I need some work on a tire. Came in at 10:00am on a Monday to have a screw removed/hole patched and it was nearly 12:00 and they still hadn't moved my car an inch... I was told it would be up to 1hour and 30 minutes but it well exceeded that time frame. Multitudes of other customers came and went during this time and it was starting to irritate me. I was chatting with other customers that were waiting and apparently these people made appointments which is why they were helped faster. I understand that but they need to work on better serving walk-in customers instead of just letting us sit for 2+ hours without any sort of update at all. I left before even getting my tire fixed because after two hours of waiting I was tired of being yanked around!!! They didn't even apologize for the wait or for misquoting the time allotted for my service. Ridiculous! read more

We were ready to go to church Sunday and when we got out of the house, "Surprise!," a flat tire! Arrrggh! I took my tire to be fixed at Discount Tire Store the next morning. Since I was already there, I asked them to go ahead and do a tire rotation and rebalance. Didn't cost me anything. You can make an appointment online if you choose to, but walk-ins are welcome. Best to get there early though to beat the crowd. They open at 8AM. I've been a customer of Discount Tire Store for about 20 years now. Their customer service is always top notch.
