I was very impressed with the speed of service, and the quality of the work. My a/c had also stopped working and it's Florida I can't have that way too hot! Went in roughly 6 months ago to get my truck inspected/serviced before taking long road trip. There was an issue with my truck shaking badly I wanted to get looked at and have my rotors, brakes, and tires checks as well as an oil change. After they looked over everything they said my rear shocks needed replaced but everything in the brake system looked great. A few months goes by and my right rear wheel starts screeching. Take the wheel off and lone and behold, my rear brake didn't get installed properly and the pad itself was worn at a 45 degree angle all the way down to the base plate of the brake pad. I bought a set of new pads to replace them myself just to find that 2 of my lug nuts were snapped off. Finally just went with dealership service and they had to drop the rear axle of my truck to remove the snapped lugs and replace the wheel studs. Absolute trash. I don't mind spending some money on vehicle maintenance and repairs but this specific location caused some HEFTY repair costs for me. Turns out that my front rotors were extremely worn (probably put 2.000 miles on the truck since going to Mavis as I don't drive it much) so they missed that and caused significant damage and created an unsafe vehicle for my family and I to ride it. I hope they turn it around because I like being able to go somewhere close to home but I'm sold on going to the dealership now. read more

I ordered tires on Amazon and needed someone to mount and balance them. Also one of my rims had damage and had a slow leak. I brought the new rim in with all 4 tires and they took care of everything pretty quickly and also did an alignment. I can't remember when my car drove this straight and smooth! Had a tire that I brought with me which only needed a valve stem replaced, which I had bought from NAPA. After going to Walmart (which closed their Tire and Lube due to COVID), Tires Plus (who said they couldn't get to it today), All Pro Auto (who told me their tire guy left for the day), and Clay Co Transmissions (who finally recommended Mavis), I came here and the manager ran in, sweating bullets cuz they were so busy, and helped me right away and only took about 2 minutes! These guys were obviously busy and working hard, but he still took the time to get the job done quickly and get me in and out while also helping other customers. Will definitely be coming back here for my future tire needs. read more

With the virus situation going on it was a challenge to get in to Tire Kingdom in Middleburg two days in a roll and the staff in the front desk not friendly at all. Went to Mavis and they welcomed me very friendly staff and even though they are heavy booked made space to accommodate my vehicle to get the tire fixed. Even if I have to wait 2 hrs is better always where you get great customer service. When I get great CS service I am even willing to pay more. read more

Sun Tire of Middleburg damaged my truck when I brought it in for an oil change in August 2018. They told me to get 3 repair estimates--which I did. They said that they would contact "corporate" to authorize the repair. I didn't hear from them for 6 weeks. I took another copy of the repair estimates in and spoke with David the manager. He promised again that they would authorize the repair. Again I heard nothing. A $50 oil change ended up costing me more than $800 damage to my truck. Never trust them again! read more

We've used a few times for break work and new tires. Trusted them with my only functional transportation early in march. They did $1450 worth of work on my vechile and forgot to put oil back in the engine on a oil change. When informed that the engine was siezed they put oil in it and got it running. We talked and I authorized an erg valve and oil sensor replacement . Which was another $330. The engine started knocking within 6 miles . We took it back , where told it started up fine but they look into it. 4 hours later they ordered a new engine. I've been told for 2 weeks it'll be done soon. My van is no longer at the middleburg location. I don't know where it is. We where only authorized for a rental after pressing them that they left us without any wheels. The vechile wasn't big enough to fit my disabled husband in it. I am watching daily debits from my account because we upgraded to the smallest suv that was avaible. I have lost income. I have taken out another $2,200 loan to get my other failing van back on the road. I am still making car payments on the van in their custody. I am told the best they can do is fix my engine on their time table. I have been repeatedly told they wont give insurance information or allow us to talk to anyone higher up. read more

NEVER RETURN FOR A RE-ALIGNMENT!!!! We brought our Honda Accord in for a 3-month alignment deal. We were hearing a wheel noise and my husband suspected it was a bearing. Anyway, they took the car and aligned it but they told us our wheel bearing was going bad and quoted us $370 to do the bearing job. My mechanic husband declined because he repairs our vehicles himself. So they completed the initial alignment job. My husband repaired our vehicle for less than $60 and advised me to return to SunTire for a re-alignment because bearing jobs will put it back out. This was about 2 weeks later. Mind you...it's still under the 3- month warranty. So, the manager takes my car in, aligns it, then proceeds to tell me that we should be paying for it again since we apparently completed the bearing job ourselves. But that he'll be "kind and not charge me." I was upset because they never told us that when we said we'll repair it ourselves. So I drive off and the car "seemed" fine until I took it to Discount Tire for my normal tire rotation not 2 months after that. It turns out that SunTire "claimed" to have realigned my car but in fact purposely toed in my front tires. The NEW Michellin tires I had on it were 13 months old!! And they were all ate up on the inside front tires. Discount Tire was genuinely concerned because they said our tires should never look like that for the young age our tires are. They were almost literally bald!!! We took it to Sears and they confirmed it was done purposely. So this was a nasty retaliation. read more

Horrible experience! I went in for an alignment and to put a new tire on, that I brought in, it took them two hours! Then they couldn't get my trunk to close, so they had to zip tie it close. I watched three people come in after me and they were all done before they even started on my vehicle. When they finally finished, I get my son in the vehicle and get in myself and notice grease on my seat. I will never go here again! Worst customer service ever! read more

Awesome customer service and the best quote I could have gotten in the 904 area code LOL! They replaced a rack & pinion assembly on my SUV and also corrected some major safety issues in the process. We noticed a coupon discount on my bill and asked, "how did I get that applied to my bill?" They simply said that is was a current promotion and didn't want me to miss out on it. The staff at Sun Tire are very warm and friendly. They were doing my timing belt but found other problems with my car and told me different prices to get the repairs done. They did an outstanding job on my vehicle in a decent amount of time for the work. The car has been running great and no more problems from the quick fix they smacked on it. I also like that they not only serve coffee but they have a popcorn machine which is great if you have children with you or anyone who loves real popcorn. I will always come here for all of my automotive needs that they cover. If they don't do the work they will refer you to a reputable dealer who will work on your problems. Awesome job. read more

They said it would be over $1100 to fix the brakes and so we said we would fix it ourselves and they Refused to give us our keys to the car so we can get it pulled home. I bought tires for 5 vehicles for several years from Sun Tire. Had a vibration on a 2015 GMC 2500 and they balanced it several times. Told me the last time if this doesn't work be sure to bring it back. It didn't work so I took it back and the manager's words were "Maybe you don't need to come here anymore." Seems a surprising business motto to me but I assured him I wouldn't be there any more with any of my 5 vehicles. Sun Tire was recently purchased by Mavis Discount Tires. Beware! They sell, sell, sell. They don't honor work done by Sun Tire and they do shotty work. You may only need one thing but they will sell you five more things. When you get home, you will notice a problem and when you take it back, they recommend more things and charge you for what they didn't do right. DON'T USE THEM. I took my car in to have the oil changed, rotate and balance tires etc. They told me I need a new tire (these are fairly new tires and I purchased them at Sun Tire). I told them to stop all work and I would pick up the car. When I arrived, they miraculously discovered an error with the wheel/tire and I didn't need a new tire after all. Yep, that is what I thought! David is still the manager but he seems to have sold his soul. He was trying to sell "our new credit card" to an elderly woman. I was a loyal Sun Tire customer and was happy but I will not do further business with Mavis. Mavis Discount Tire has a "D" rating with the Better Business Bureau. read more

They were the cheapest on the set of tires that I ordered for my 14 Honda Accord so I made a 10am appointment. By 12:00 they had my car on the rack and 20min later they were done.. I don't mind waiting for quality service but when you realize the following day after washing all the grease and grime left from the tire swap that all four of your rims are severely scratched due to the techs making a game out of it and seeing who can swap the tires the quickest. That can really make you angry knowing that you can not prove it but you have to live with it and lesson learned!! I will never go back to this establishment and from now on I will take pics before hand!! I'm writing this to be a warning to others !! read more
