I heard great things about this place, I went in to get some rims on my truck. At first it all went well, I got new wheels and tires for just over 4 thousand. They installed them at night time, and when I woke up the next morning I went to take a look at them in the light and noticed they had scratches and a dent. Around every lug nut hole there were scratches, gashes, and the front passenger rim had a dent. Even the hub caps had scratches. Looks like the guys who installed them didn't care, and just scratched them up with their sockets. Note that these scratches are too deep to buff out. Also keep in mind, these are brand new 4 THOUSAND DOLLAR rims. I called and told them my issue, they told me to come in. When I got there, the manager wasn't there to help me so I had to wait until he got back. When he got back, he told me "I gave you a good deal, it's a pretty ridiculous thing to freak out about." I told him I wanted my old wheels put on and to cancel the lease. He told me it was pretty ridiculous and that nobody would notice. Didn't even try to fix them or replace them. The guys working in the back were shaking their heads and were mumbling things under their breath when they heard to take them off. They put my old set back on, but kept my down payment. So now I've got money down the drain, with no new wheels. WOULD NOT RECCOMEND. read more

I took my 2007 Toyota tundra in to have wheels and tires put on They took off 275 6518s but put on 285 75 18s They did not tell me my transfer case went out on my truck and I had an extended warranty that would have paid for it with $100 deductible but because they put a bigger size tire on it gave my warranty company a reason to deny the claim so now my truck's been sitting for about 2 and 1/2 months now I've had to get a lawyer and try to sue these people because they're saying it's my fault that I didn't tell them to put on the same size tire it's actually unbelievable that they would say something like that stay away from thus tire company. And instead of trying to help me in any way all they have done is tell me to bring the tires and rims back which is what I'm going to do when I finally get my truck back on the road. read more

I wanted to upgrade to custom wheels on my Toyota RAV4.. These guys did not have in stock what I was looking for so they searched internet and made phone calls to find perfect ones. 24 January 2019 I first did business with RimTyme over a year ago and that experience resulted in me returning the rims do to very poor customer service and the shop cutting corners and trying to "rig" my wheels from losing tire pressure, instead of replacing the sensors. (Which I purchased a new set of.) There is a new crew working so I decided to give it another try and purchased a set of rims and tires yesterday. I am currently setting in the store waiting for them to fix my wheel because I woke up with a flat tire this morning. DeJaVu! You may say money going here, but you will "not" get quality work. And you you will lose plenty of valuable time. The worst part is I dealt with the district manager yesterday, Alex. It starts at the top. Tire supposedly fixed, we will see. 28 January 2019 Went out of town for the weekend and came back to my car, parked in the garage, sitting on the rim. Issue not resolved. Called to speak to Alex, and was told he will call me back. But if I bring it in, they'll take a look at it...... Take it back there, again? Or pay a facility to fix it the right way? Decisions Three shops later and no one wants to touch the poor job that RimTyme performed. Look at the pictures! 29 January Went into shop and talked with Gary. He swore he saw his mechanic change the sensor with his on eyes on tire that was leaking. We debated that "fact" for a moment until I explained the difference between the Max sensors they use and my OEM sensors. He finally got it. Replaced the right rear sensor for the first time. Job complete with no lights on dash and it's holding tire pressure. We will see. 30 min later....TPM MALFUNCTION!!!! 30 January 2019 Back at RimTyme, was told there sensor reader/programmer is broke and they don't know when it will get fixed. Asked to speak to Alex and was told he won't be in until the 1 February. Asked about refund and was told all cash sales are final. States I need to talk to Alex...who won't be in until Friday and they don't know his number. BBB read more

I got my rims February 24 of this year I noticed that it was 2 nails in my tire yesterday and I called today to find out what I could do with the nails in the tire so they told me to dive it up there with the nails in the tire and it would be FREE to get new tires so when I was 10 minutes away on the expressway I find out that my tire was split/busted/raggedy all cause of the nails and not to mention before I even went onto my destination I put air in the tire as told from the employees and likely got into an accident almost 4 times and sat on the side of the road for 30 minutes until my spouse came then got there but skip to when I got there they told me to pay $100 to get a new tire and I HAD A WARRANTY ON MY TIRES I WILL NEVER GO BACK read more

called in to get some professional knowledge in regards to my rims that were placed on my car (not purchased from the store, but was inquiring about purchasing a piece from them that would help fix my rims and tires) the woman who originally answered the phone was very kind and wanted to help but they don't know so she transferred me to a sales person who after waiting on the phone for about seven minutes hopped on, and was very rude. Did not offer his name and continuously interrupted me before I could even get out what it was I was trying to ask. Person continue to talk to me in a very condescending manner. When I asked if I were able to purchase certain items from them and have them install, he said that they prefer not to do business with people who didn't buy the rims from them as they like to avoid dealing with those kinds of situation's. I asked him if I could buy apart from him, and he again stated the same as above. I then said OK well, I guess I will call someone who will actually want to be helpful and get my business- to which he replied that sounds like a great idea and hung up. I'm not sure if this is the owner or just a manager, but the customer service was beyond unacceptable and the worst I've experienced in my years of car, maintenance shops. I would not recommend this place to anybody, especially anyone who is needing help from a professional in the field - although with the way, I was talk to and treated it seems as if he doesn't know what he's talking about or he just doesn't care. read more

If you have no other option then yes , but just know that rims are overpriced and some are used and they will sell you rims and tires that have defects. Inspect them before you buy anything there. Make sure you ask questions on anything you have a question with. read more

My son purchased tires from RimTyme on 1/21/2019 for his Dodge Dart because if his previous experience with tires and rims for his Jeep in 2018 he felt good about getting tires from there. Because he didn't really have the cash for tires he had to do the lease. Well on 3/12/2019 he had an accident and so when RimTyme called about his payment I informed them of the unforeseen accident well I was told to he needs to make a payment or bring the tires you know go to dealership and take the tires off to bring. I made the payment and I called my insurance company because they had not even looked at the vehicle to tell if a total loss needless today 3/28/2019 for a payment or tell them where the vehicle is to get there tires so I told them the location and now my son calls to tell me he has to take them the tires. But the manager lsreal, said he would come get them .. I guess he didn't expect me to say you can have them and this is where your property is. Let me tell you don't ever do business there. The gentleman who was there in 2018 is not there now and he was great at customer service and I don't think I would have experience this same level of poor customer service if he was still there. My son based his past experience in his decision to do business with this company now he knows it was the previous employees that made the experience enjoyable and now he knows going forward if he needs tires he better off going to Suntire or Goodyear. read more

i bought a brand new set of rims and tires. to get home to one of them having a crack. they wouldnt do anything about it. poor customer service and they are saying their selling new but they are used rims and tires that were seconds because of defects!!! i wont buy from them ever again. jacksonville florida location! read more

this place is very unprofessional and the the staff is very un knowledgeable. they don't know what important and basic things are like what a hub-centric ring is or what it even does and being a rim and tire place that should be basic at the least knowledge. they sell cheap products like tires that separate after only a couple of months and they don't honor any kind of warranty. they will act like the issues you are having are your fault and your problem after the sale is done. they might offer to help but only if you spend more money and more time dealing with something that could have been avoided if they knew what they were doing in the first place. terrible customer service, horrible waiting times, no organization or communication between employees whatsoever. I wish I had never stepped foot in that place. thank God there are better places to go to for help like discount tires for tires and Hot Wheelz for knowledge and experience. Don't ever! ever ever ever go to rim tune. they don't even know how to spell time correctly. if you want to waste your valuable time and hard earned money go to rim tyme. they will make you wish you had spent that money on a nice Hawaiian vacation where at least you would have some good memories and stories. worst experience of my adult life!!!! read more
