The young man with glasses was friendly, informative and professional.He taught me how to recalibrate my service light and gave me his air tire pressure tool. He truly cares about his customers and their safety. I appreciate his kindness because the vehicle service industry can be tough and unrewarding.I wish I carried cash so I could've tipped him. I also had to get tires here a year and half ago at this location.I walked away with a good price and great customer service.I look forward to doing more business at this Discount Tire location. read more

Went to repair a flat tire. Unless the nail or screw has punctured the tire in the center they tell you the tire can not be repaired. I was sold a used tire for $40 later told that the used tire was also damaged. Sales person then said he would sell me a new tire for $60. He charged my credit card $60. In doing the math was actually selling me the tire for $100. They had the audacity to tell me I was getting a great deal on the tire that was worth $150. I take it as a "bait and switch" deal and the lure is free flat repair. Long time customer no more. read more

looks like the common practice here is to lure you with the free air check and rotation then try to sell you tires very quickly. I purchased 4 new tires from this location at the advise of the sale rep when i went for the "free" flat tire repair. I also purchased the extra warranty for each tire totaling $100 at the advise of the sale rep. I took it on 11/19/2014, for my periodic tire rotation, and the customer rep told me there are wear on the front 2 tires and they require replacement. When i inquired about the warranty, customer rep said it's due to alignment. I have serviced car diligently since purchasing the 4 new tires. Took it to discount tire periodically for air pressure checks, flat tire, tire rotation, etc. There were no mention at any of these visits of needing alignment check. My expectation is that you go through the process of buying tires from a good company like discount tire, you buy the extra warranty, you service it frequently, you don't ignore any advise then you should be covered and the company will stand by its customer and its product provide replacement. Unfortunately not. the guy offered 8 dollar discount per tire! These guys are THE BEST!!! Everyone (guy) that worked here was SUPER nice and very helpful. I had to replace all 4 tires and really wasn't looking forward to spending a grip ($600+). The guys at DT were aimed to please every customer. They were very understanding about the cost of the tires and recommended the competitors deal. So they matched their competitors to give me a great deal on my new tires!!! I will mos def come back to see these guys again. read more

Very bad after sale service. I replaced my tire here, after one day TPMS light turn on. I came back to fix but they try to explain that it's not their fault because the TPMS sensor run out of battery or something despite that the failure sensor right on the tire they replaced. And charge me $60 for replacing the sensor that unacceptable. Never come back. read more

I was greeted at my car and the intake was done quickly even though I didn't have an appointment. I was on my way in roughly a half hour. This locale is well run. Very helpful personnel from start to finish. Had to buy two new tires, they installed the tires for me without issue, and did it very quickly. Was expecting to wait two hours since it was a Friday and all. Got me in and out in about 45 minutes. Will definitely come back to them again in the future. read more

I wanted to gave 4 stars but i decided to gave it a 3 stars... I like the service of the staff though Just make sure when the staff change tires check your tire caps specially if its a nitro caps because they will change it to a black plastic caps. Re-cap : few months ago i visited the branch at highway 6 near bellfort. My nitro tire cap was replaced by black plastic tire cap when they repair my tire , when i noticed i called my friend who lives close to the branch but was told they don't have it anymore...My friend went there like 15 minutes i left due to i leave far than his place.... Then i decided to try a different branch and I went this meadows branch.. I need to change my tires due to almost worn out and 1 had punctured nail...I had chrome caps when i changed my 3 tires .. When i saw my new tires.. It has now the plastic caps.. Weird.. I have now 1 chrome tire caps and 3 black plastic tire caps.... I know this is a little matter but might be trouble some to some clients as well... but the service is good and the staff specially Franklin Carrillo was very professional and helpful. I like the promo they have though.. They do have good deals. The waiting room is clean... I just think they need to put some blinds to cover the other chairs from the sun.. So clients/costumers can sit on them while waiting. ( its the glass facing the freeway.. Wall glass) read more

The staff here is great. The selection of tires is almost always great too. The prices aren't too bad either. The wait is crazy though. Even with all the bays working and the employees working at peak efficiency you need to be prepared to wait. It's better to drop off your car and pick it up later. Don't be afraid to ask questions. 1. They convinced my wife to buy 4 new tires on a car that has 29,000 miles only when she only went in for a flat repair. ( I can accept the purchase since I prefer Michelin tires anyway to Goodyear factory original tires) 2. They gave her 3 new tires and said that they will call her the next day because they were out of stock 3. They took 2.5 hours to complete the job when the told her it will only take 45 minutes 4. They appear to have taken the car for a ride, black finger prints on passenger sun visor 5. They never called back on the 4th tire until I escalated a complaint to the corporate office 6. They left the car a mess, dirty / black finger / hand prints on the door, wheel, sun visor, even roof, WTF? 7. The local manager agreed to the cleaning cost by a third party when I spoke to him and he agreed that he will not be trusted to clean the car 8. My wife went back to get the 4th tire and the manager simply refused the cleaning and when she asked him to call me, he disappeared and never called. Great service as soon as you walk into the store. We were greeted by two gentlemen working the front desk and they were polite and knowledgeable. They quoted me about a 30-45 minute wait, but they were done in about 20 minutes. Scamsters. Today, I made a reservation to rotate tires and check why all of my Prodigy H/T tires were slowly losing pressure. The Ast. Mgr. checked my tires and said that the tread was 4/32 and that I should consider new tires. They looked great to me,after 23,000 miles. He showed me a big poster inside , produced by Discount Tires, showing that tread was not in a safe area. I asked him how that could be. He said that these were the "low end" tires and I could only expect 30,000 miles from them. I wondered why Discount Tires recommended them to me a year ago. I asked to speak to the manager, Josh Keim, who patiently listened to my concerns, and offered to check the air pressures, and fill the tires, if necessary. He did not disagree with any of the "facts" that the other employee stated. I went home and checked with the National Transportation Safety Board, which said: Tread depth 2/32nds inch or less is the lower limits of safety--NOT double that amount, which my tires had. FYI: New tires have about 8/32 tread. I also checked on line, at Tire Reviews and More, and the Prodigy H/T tire, sold by Discount Tires, has a 60,000 mile tread warranty. So two employees from Discount Tires, falsely misrepresented (lied about?) the qualities of the tire, and the requirements for replacing them. I will let you figure out the motive for them doing this. And I would suggest you be careful about those "safety suggestions". read more

I am a regular customer of this Discount Tire location. There is always a lot of business coming in, even at the beginning of business hours. I usually take two cars each time I visit and get tire rotations on both without making an appointment. You can expect to wait about forty-five minutes to an hour when they are busy, but there is plenty to do nearby. There is a James Coney Island next door and a Northern Tool Hardware store immediately behind Discount. Discount always does great work and they let me know if they find any problems when they work on my car. Tire rotations and spin balancing are free for life and I am always met with a great attitude from the service representatives on every visit. I highly recommend this location, if only for the great customer service I get every time I go in. Also, they have complimentary cold water bottles and sometimes coffee, in the lobby for customers in waiting. The only thing you might have to worry about sometimes is whether they have the tires you want in stock or not. However, if they are not in stock they can send someone to pick them up from another Discount either same day or next day for installation. read more

I bought two tires in January and got a flat in the tire that wasn't purchased there, but they fixed it immediately and reminded me that a rotation was due. I had to wait a bit but I was amazed that the crew behind the desk was super pleasant, extremely efficient, never lost their sense of customer service. Wow - I am a lifelong customer from now on. The customer service here is the worst i have ever come across in this sort of business. This is my third time going there (as its really close to my house) and i have bought tires for both my cars from here, but all three times there is no communication at all. The people working in the back dont know what the people inside have told customers. In my case i bought tires two weeks ago, i had the pressure light come on so i went there, once there the guy inside told me to park into free pressure check up area, i parked there, the guy from front started chatting another customer who was buying new tires, and the person in te back who was right there in front of me said to wait for 90 minutes, and than just stood there and chatted with another friend for more than 10 minutes. I would highly recommend to not go to this place ever. read more
