I will never come here again. I came to get an alignment and supposedly it was done. He came out with a paper saying that my right front tie rod strut was bent. So how could they perform an alignment??? I was still charged for an alignment. I ended up getting the passenger side inner and outer tie rods replaced. I had to pay for another alignment which was $95. These shops be ripping people off. Why is he going back and forth with me? Such a professional! That is the receipt and what I was charged for an alignment. He's saying that he doesn't charge $60 for an alignment. That is a lie because they inboxed me that price. Lol! read more

I've been a dedicated Discount Tire customer for decades. This time around I decided to shop around. Best Tire had great reviews so I decided to get a quote. I had already ruled out the Toyota dealership since they no longer had their 4 for 3 offer. Well Best Tire's quote blew DT out of the water! The only thing missing was the roadside repair certificates that DT offers. But once I thought about it, how often do you happen to need a repair or damage replacement of any one tire? For me the most common need is a repair due to puncture. That may happen to perhaps one tire, one time, over the life of all 4 tires! So why pay $20 per tire when most likely I could pay $15 for the one-time repair of that one tire? Ok so now I'm here. Best Tire has the look of your average neighborhood tire shop. It's not corporate. It's not a chain. The parking lot is bumpy just like Houston streets. The furniture is old and worn. So suburbanites may be turned off, but I came here for new tires. And a new tire that ships from the manufacturer is the same no matter its final destination. Ali greeted me upon pulling into the parking lot and directed me to a workstation as if it had been reserved for me. Well...it had! My tires were stacked inside the door like that dog on YouTube waiting for the guy to come home from military service. A bottle of water, WiFi, and less than 30 minutes later and I was out the door with 4 new tires--never to hydroplane again...well at least not until I allow these babies to wear down past the recommended change level like I always do. I returned less than a week later to get a slow leak checked out on my fiancee's car. They found a small nail and repaired the tire. Again, I was out the door within 30 minutes although this time I didn't even have an appointment! Bye Discount Tire! No more standing in line with the rest of the sheep for me! Changed tires from Michelin Sport to Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 plus, much quieter and smoother ride. Best Tire & Wheel had my tires ready; and when I got there, they immediately took care of changing out tires. They were very professional and totally transparent doing the change over. Owner is old school and just writes stuff down (I don't think I even saw a computer) but he called me to give me updates and was very nice. Amer at Best Tire and Wheel gave me a quote which was slightly higher compared to some of the other businesses but fair at the least. I decided to follow my gut and bring my rims to him. Sometimes you get what you pay for and in this case, I was more than satisfied. When I arrived, I was treated very well and Customer Service was more than pleasurable. I ended up purchasing a set of tires because they gave me such a good price. While my rims were worked on Amer had excellent communication which saved me a lot of stress. Great professional experience. These guys know their business. I was looking for a set of used tires for my Acura MDX. It's an older model and I'll probably trade it in soon, but I needed tires to get my inspection. I probably talked to 8-10 tire shops and nobody could get me a matched set. Not only did Amir get a set of Michelin's in fantastic shape, they were at a great price and in excellent condition. They probably have 80% of their life left in them and I paid maybe 25-30% of what new ones would cost. Beware of getting your wheels repaired here! Yesterday I dropped my car off to get the front wheels curb rash repaired and they told me that they can make it look 100% like factory with exact color match. That was a big lie!!!! Now my front wheels are slightly darker then my rear wheels. To make things even worse they broke the factory BMW "M" emblem from both of my front wheels! They even missed a spot on my front driver side wheel and both wheels now have bubbles all over! They give me a 90% refund however now the front wheels of my car color mismatches and I have missing "M" emblems on both of my front wheels. I would rather have wheels with curb rash then wheels with mismatching colors and damage! Very dishonest and disappointing and now I really hope they didn't mess with other things such as TMPS sensors. I truly regret bringing my car here and letting these idiots mess with it. If there is any further damage and/or issues then I'm going to consult with my attorney. Be careful of brining your car to this trashy place. read more

Amir (owner) is a great guy with awesome customer service. I came in to get three rims fixed that where bent from a accident. Amir talked with me directly of what options I have and also quoted me the best price in that area. I was able to drop them off late that evening and they were available for pick up early the next day. Amir and his team was also able fix my tire pressure issue, mount and balance the fixed rims with my existing tires onto my vehicle. Amir insisted for me to come back if I had any more issues with my tire pressure after they did the mounting and balancing. I will be recommending this place for family and friends. sorry, but This is so soooooo bad bad place I came for fixing curb crash on my wheel. They ruined my rim making it so worse. That is just a damage of 1 inch, but they fixed it more than 3 hours. That is just damage of 1 inch but why they had to remove rim from tire. I asked some other places they evenly don't remove whole wheel. The place is not professional, the owner knew this is my one month brand new car, but they didn't make everything carefully on the rim , now there are more scratches on it instead of just one curb crash. Then I am extremely disappointed when see that they fixed it , the fixed place is not flat and different color than my rim. They lost my valve stem cap and gave me another old one. They took off rim balancing beads bar but didn't tell me first, also I didn't offer to balance my wheel, obviously you didn't respect on your customer. So now my car doesn't have balance as good as before repair, it almost heads to right side more where the wheel was repaired. You know this is my new car why do you make everything too badly. I will not recommend this place anybody. Give back my $900 rim!!! read more

Found this place through Yelp and saw that they were still opened and pretty close by. I called and lucky for me they had my tire in stock used and an affordable price. Owner was nice enough to take in my appointment right before they closed which I was thankful because I had a nail in my tire that could not be patched. While I was waiting, the owner showed me a few things about tires and even gave me quotes for future references. The wait time was not terrible at all. I bought (2) tires in March 2020 and returned to Best Tire & Wheel because one of the tires mysteriously went flat in July 2020. Amer & staff were very helpful and took apart the tire to inspect for leak. No leak was found so they added air back. If I could give 10 stars I would as this family run business is first class. Amer, his dad , and uncle truly put the customer first. I got my rims redone through Best Tire and when it was time to install them on my new car realised they needed an adapter. Long story short, I asked to leave my rims at their shop as I didn't want to truck then around town and they were more then accommodating. They stayed in their shop for 3 weeks. Every time I called to check in with them it was " no problem Mr. Terry, they are safe here". I can see why they have been in business for 20+ years as they know how to make a customer feel valued and I can tell you there are no pricing games here. I called a minimum of a dozen tire stores to find 18" sport tires for my husband's BMW 135i before finally finding Best Tire. My husband and I both agree that there are not enough words to describe the excellent service we got from Amer and all the employees at Best Tire. We had an issue with the transmission locking up after we had it towed and Amer went out of his way to figure out the issue was caused by a bad battery. We both thought we were going to have to take it to the dealership to work it out. Amer brought a BMW mechanic over to the shop who was able to figure it out. He then got us a battery and 4 new tires and we were very very pleased with the price. We will never buy tires anywhere else. Who knew buying tires could be such a great and happy experience? I came to them at 1:30 on Sunday just before closing and was afraid I wouldn't have enough time to get my tire changed that blew out. They saw my van right away and got it changed very quickly! Open memorial day! This is smaller shop than your usual Midas, Firestone, or Brake Check. This shop is located on a strip of auto shops and their sign is cut in half so just keep your eyes peeled for a "st Tire and Wheel" sign to your right. Their parking lot is a bit small and crowded so just park where you can until you're told otherwise. I called to get a quote for an alignment and was told they start at $50. For a 4-wheel alignment on my 2007 Toyota Yaris (a compact car) I was quoted and paid $50! When I noticed the sign at the front of the shop said a 2-wheel alignment starts at $49.99 and a 4-wheel alignments start at $69.99, I asked to confirm and the owner said because he quoted me $50 on the phone, he'd honor his price I passed up more than 11 auto shops (yes I counted) to get to Best Tire and Wheel, and I'm glad I did. I dropped off my car at 9 am and it was ready by 11 am. Alignments generally take about 30-45 minutes and there is an outdoor and indoor seating area, but I decided to get breakfast instead of wait in person. They take all cards and provide efficient and kind service! read more
