The man we spoke with did not pressure us at all - either to buy a more expensive set of tires, or additional services. As we were waiting, the young man came to us and said, I've got bad news, we are out of the tire we sold you. But then added that they would upgrade us without charge, but they were out of that line of tires as well, and would upgrade a second time - without charge. We were very impressed. He started checking the tread on my vehicle. Then he checked and documented the mileage. This seems like an invasion of my privacy. All this was after I told him I only wanted the nail addresses. Best costumer service ever from Jack! I had an appointment because I had a nail in my tire and tire pressure lights were on. He asked my permission to do every step look at my tires, get the tread, show me his computer screen etc, all began with "can I" while inspecting he asked what type of work I did and and he knew a little about the work I do with human trafficking which also made me connect even more! He showed empathy for the hard work, he gave me education on tread for my tires and pulled me an estimate to replace my tires when I'm ready, he created the estimate keeping in mind how I travel/work from home etc and recommended a lower cost product because he listened to my needs. They have a bar area where you can see your car being worked on and I was able to work on my computer for a few and use their free wifi. Jack was able to build rapport with me and begin some trust which is so important being a female at a tire shop lol! He recommended my wipers get replaced which I did and my tire was repaired for free I will be going back to purchase my full set soon and I'll be asking to deal with Jack again! I had three tires replaced about 3 months ago. Before I took my car in for service, I had to take off the fourth tire to get it plugged and put on a spare. I had no issues removing the lug nuts and later putting the fixed tired back on. When I took my car to Discount Tire, they called me up to the desk about 30 minutes after they started fixing my car. The guy explained that I needed all new lug nuts and wanted me to purchase them from him. I explained that I had recently changed a tire with no issue, and I didn't need new lug nuts. Today, I learned why he wanted me to buy the new lug nuts. I ran over a large piece of metal that gouged a tear in my tire. When I went to change it, my lug wrench would not fit over the lug nuts. I tried it on all of the tires, and none of my lug nuts were fitting. (My father was a mechanic who taught me basic car maintenance, and I have previously changed tires on this car 4 times.) It was obvious that my lug nuts were switched and another set were put on my car. My boyfriend had to get his socket set to get the "replaced" lug nuts off. He looked up the specs on the lug nuts, and they did not match the factory issued lug nuts on my car. In hindsight, I can see that the workers at Discount Tire realized they had taken my lug nuts off and put them on someone else's car. Instead of alerting me (and the other person who ended up with my lug nuts), they tried to pressure me into buying new lug nuts. When I didn't, they allowed me to leave knowing that my lug wrench would not work on the lug nuts they used on my car. I was just in a remote part of Arkansas yesterday. What if this had happened there in the areas where I have no cell service? They put me in a very dangerous position, and now I have to replace all of my lug nuts because the new lug nuts are not even the right size for my vehicle. They gave me 22mm when my car uses 21mm, and I'm still having trouble getting them to fit to remove with a 4 way lug wrench. So, if you want to end up stranded, go ahead and use this business. There is some poor person out there with my lug nuts on who will not be able to change their tire because it won't fit their lug wrench. read more

I have always loved Discount Tire but this particular location left a sour taste in my mouth. They took advantage of the fact I was a woman and didn't know much about tires. I went in to get my tire plugged. That was it. What I received was a hard pressured sales pitch on 4 new tires that I did not need and windshield wipers that I'm sure were overpriced. I did end up buying one new tire. And still a tire I didn't need at the end of the day but my friend wasn't available to ask. I left a review on here before about buying 4 new tires from them and two of those brand new tires disintegrated a couple days later. They replaced those for free. But yesterday another one of those tires disintegrated after less than 7000 miles, and they wouldn't replace it for free. They said the tire probably had a nail in it, which it didn't because it wasn't low. It just completely came apart in exactly the and way as the first two. I've used Discount Tire for years. No one beats their tire warranty. I had 2 nearly new tires from another car of mine that I wanted to put on my Subaru. Because the tires were in such good shape, I was able to buy the road hazard warranty on those tires even though the tires originally came from Walmart. Just today I had them put 2 new tires on my Ranger. I told them to put my spare, which had the most tread, back under the bed. That didn't happen. They didn't want to put my old tire back on the rim. I suspect they were concerned about liability. Their solution was to give me a brand new tire at no charge. They will always get my business. read more

He gave me an estimated time frame of when the work would be done--and they got it done right on time. The wheels I picked out were discontinued and CJ made multiple calls to different suppliers to finally find wheels I liked. Excellent place to buy tires. This place is run the way a business should be - friendly, attentive and fast. I'm always greeted in the parking lot or at the door. I've bought several sets of tires here and they had the best prices in town. My last set were a little more expensive than another place (who was running a special), but they price matched without hassle. My last tires (Michelin's) weren't perfectly balanced initially (smooth until 76 - 84mph)so I brought them back a few weeks later and they worked me in to rebalance without attitude or a cross glance and had me out of there in 20 min. Always a pleasure to deal with these guys and I'm now rolling smooth as glass. The ONLY reason I knocked a star was regarding a road hazard warranty. It's included in the install price at Sams and Costco, but not here. I've simply taken my chances without "certificates". With that said, I picked up a nail today and they patched my tire at no charge, cheerful as ever. I didn't expect or ask for it to be free, but they said they were happy to take care of me.
